When I first bought my current home, they removed the old oil furnace and central air and retrofitted the home with a new highly-efficient geothermal furnace.

At every step, ground Loop has been one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They hire and retain very good people. Clerical staff are courteous, professional, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Field personnel, from sales, to geothermal techs and electricians, even the well drilling crews, are all the definition of excellence. Everyone seems to be the top in their field.

While my system is highly efficient and reliable, the few times I have had a problem, they had a tech at my door the next morning (they do have emergency on call staff available, but I have never had need of service that urgent). Diagnosis and repair has always been efficient and accurate. They always take the time to thoroughly and honestly answer any of my questions.

Recently, I had my furnace replaced to benefit from tax and REC (Renewable Energy Credits) incentives, based on some timely suggestions from their knowledgeable staff. I now have a new furnace unit that is not only much more efficient the the previous model, but generating passive income in RECs.

Ground Loop is, in my experience, the best of the best in all categories. Sales, customer service, workmanship, responsiveness and above all, honesty. I hope they continue to be successful as a leader in their field and I will be a dedicated customer to them, so long as they do.

We have used Ground Loop for maintenance on our Water Furnace System for many years. Their technicians are friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. We expect to be using them for many more years.

The man who came to service my system was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and did a complete check of my system. He even showed me where to turn off valve for my water it and he pointed out parts of my system I was aware of. He was very helpful!

Ground Loop (GL) installed my two geothermal systems in 4/2015. Of the 3 companies I got a quote from, GL's was the best, and when said and done, appeared to be the right decision. The systems have been great and GL's service and customer service have been great.
Only thing the cost of their yearly maintenance contacts have almost doubled. They do perform two yearly comprehensive check ups. Just wished they could do something to lower the yearly cost.

When my capacitor went out during a summer heat wave I was very pleased with Ground Loop's service from start to finish; quickly arriving, diagnosing, and getting the outdoor unit back up and running.

They explained the many elements to doing this - how the system works, the rebate programs, both Federal and Maryland, and how the install process would go. Everything happened exactly as they said. All pricing was exactly as stated. They were patient, thorough and answered our (many) questions. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Installed Geothermal with Groundloop a year ago to replace a bad heat pump that was only 10 years old. 1 year in, we are spending less on power for both heat and air in comparison. And my neighbor with a recently insulated home, oil and ac, is spending more on oil than our entire geothermal power for all seasons. Professional team, right through the 2 maintenance visits in year 1.

Had a few issues with my geothermal. Contacted them and they were able to get a tech to me rather quickly. He found the issue and quoted the repair while he was here. Between the tech, install crew, and office staff everyone has been great to deal with. I will certainly use them in the future.

Update to my 1st review on Ground Loop. They ended up needing to replace my unit. They were great to work with and made the whole process painless.

We installed geothermal with Ground Loop 9 years ago but at that time, retained an attic heat pump unit for the second floor. Looking ahead, Ground Loop installed additional underground loops in case we should want to convert the attic unit to geothermal in the future. We have been so happy with our main unit (and it so significantly reduced our utility bills) that we finally decided this season to replace the attic heat pump unit with a second geothermal unit--and of course, hired Ground Loop to do the work. Already we are noticing that the new unit is significantly quieter--in fact we hardly hear it--and the temperature in the house is balanced for the first time. Given the tax credits and rebates, we finally decided we could afford the second unit and are already glad we did. Also, the installation crew was very respectful of our home, got very creative to minimize the additional installation requirements, and very neatly installed the new equipment in both attic and basement, to tie in with the loops already in place. We highly recommend Ground Loop and geothermal.

My experience with Ground loop was fantastic. I just had some interest in going geothermal and found them on Apple Maps and set up an appointment . Ted was very professional and had an answer for all my questions, his proposal worked out to be much more reasonable than I expected. I signed the contract and they did the work in 3 phases over 3 months. Each phase was done professionally with good communication and top notch workers who were always respectful and kept my home clean. I am thrilled with the finished product and wouldn’t think twice about hiring them again.

Every time I have an issue with my system (which is not often), Ground Loop responds immediately and is out with a technician who is friendly, helpful, professional WITHIN24 hours. They have even come in the evening and responded to texts at night to help me trouble shoot over the phone. THE BEST customer service.

We had the best experience with the Ground Loop Heating and Air Conditioning. After three days without power, our heating system failed to start, it was freezing in our house. We called GLHAC, they sent immediately their technician Wyatt, he came within less than a hour, was very polite and knowledgeable, diagnosed our problem and soon after our heating kicked in. We appreciate this company professionality and the service they provided very much and would like to recommend it to anyone with a need for heating and air conditioning service. Our experience with Ground Loop has been amazing. When we decided to look into Geothermal systems, we realized that there are very few companies with experience. Ground Loop has the most experience and the best prices. The process from beginning to end was excellent with constant communication. The process does take months, but in the end, the system works perfectly and there is no sign outside that we put the system in. The addition of the water heater system is a must. We have four adults in our house and can take four long showers with no problem using on electric heat. Ground loop also maintains the system with techs who truly know the system, and even get to know you. If you are thinking of replacing your A/C get geothermal and use Ground Loop.

I went with Ground Loop for a geothermal system install - they were not the cheapest bid, but inspired the highest degree of confidence in the time and care they took in the discovery process and answering my questions. Install was great and the system is amazing, we have no regrets. Since then, we've had them out bi-annually for system check-ups and I have been incredibly impressed by how thorough they are. Antonio spends a solid hour on site running diagnostics, dialing in settings, and giving the equipment a detailed inspection. He then shares the data (and what it means) in his report with me. We’ve been with Ground Loop since we moved to Annapolis.They installed a new Series 7 for us in 2018. Highly recommend them, for being fair, honest, direct, prompt, reliable and helpful. We like our service tech, Antonio Herrera, for his friendly efficiency and ability to explain things clearly. The office staff have been very helpful in organizing paperwork that we needed to file. If there is any question or issue, the owner will get back to you right away. In the last 4 years, Ground Loop has modernized completely. A+

I had such a good experience with Ground Loop. Our heat stopped working over the weekend and when I called on Sunday, the owner of the company answered and got a technician over to me later that day. They quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary part, and had it fixed the following day. The customer service is 10/10. I cannot recommend this company enough!
