Called 2 times. It’s been 10 hours now and it’s freezing in our home. Poor service.

Poor customer service they don’t fix stuff properly

Worst Company ever this Company installed my A/C unit and they did a horrible job

I bought a newly constructed home in which this company had installed the HVAC system. 4 years later something broke and only heat was coming out instead of cold air in the middle of summer. I saw the bad reviews but ignored them with the thought that these guys put the system in so they would be the best option to fix the problem. The guy came over and diagnosed the problem as a busted circuit that could be fixed under warranty. He then charged me a huge amount for the service charge and they also informed me that they would charge me again to install the part once it came in. Mind you the part was free but the cost of installing it was close to $500. Worst was I had to call them multiple times to find out when they were going to fix the problem. It took them over a month to come back with the part. Fast forward to today and it’s finally got cold enough for me to use my heater and wouldn’t you know it only cold air is coming out. Don’t call these guys even if they were the ones that initially installed the hvac unit.

Deserves NO STAR at all, our HVAC experience still at warranty period when it stop working, the furnace is off, and a lot of water at the drip pan. When we called them, they told us to wait for 5 days as that’s the earliest date they can fix. We insisted even for temporary troubleshooting only as it’s hard to sleep w/o AC during summer time. They responded that they can’t make any promises as we are not the only one who suffers the same (there’s a lot of us). Having said, we can only conclude that their response/services are very poor. Please avoid them to be your subcontractor and/or company for HVAC, for the obvious reasons stated above.

Dishonesty Runs Rampant In This Company! Do not trust them!
We have a tankless water heater from Noritz and it sprung a leak that completely shorted it out. We called Sobieski to ask if they could look at it. They charged $100 which is fair however we asked if they could find out about the warranty info from Noritz. Our tech “said” he called them when he went out to his car and it was not covered under the warranty and took no pictures.
Then he proceeded to try and sell us a new tankless water heater for only $5000. Luckily we weren’t born yesterday so we called another plumbing contractor and they were so professional and spoke to Noritz in front of us. Wouldn’t you know it….All The Parts Are Covered!!!! This place tried to scam us and were dishonest so you know what….we want our $100 back for shady business practices and so we can pay an honest plumber for their labor……that guy didn’t do anything and we are going to make sure no one else gets taken for a ride. How can you live with yourselves selling people things that are covered under warranty. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Installed a new heat pump through a home warranty in January of 2026. Heat wasn't working properly and contacted contractor and warranty company. Scott's HVAC didn't answer phone or return calls after messages were left. I have a brand new heat pump that still doesn't work. Contractor is a nice guy but didn't back up his work or return calls

My AC went out and I found them on google. When they heard my infant in the background, ran over after hours to check things out and work with us. Complete life saver. Absolutely wonderful people, quality work and I highly recommend. House is cooled down even better than before.

This company was dispatch to my house through a home warranty and they showed up pretty quickly and diagnosed the problem. Since then, they have not responded to my phone calls or text messages even after saying they were going to show up three days in a row but never showed up. My heating system is broken and it is cold outside and they have shown no urgency to fix my unit. I would not recommend this company.

HGH has not only exceeded my expectations, but restored my confidence in local business customer service. Phil and his techs are the real deal and work quickly to get the service you need. I was put off by 3 others because my access is 40 feet. NOT HGH! Phil pulled up, contacted his installers and within an hour I had 2.5 pounds of Freon in a fully running unit. Thank you gents.

He quickly assessed my problem and was able to get my system running again at a reasonable price. HGH will be my service provider in the future.

I never dealt with a company as reliable and totally on top of their game as HGH. I needed a new boiler. The salesman came out the same day. His was the lowest of my three estimates. They got me on their schedule in two days. Their team of installers were considerate of me in every way, polite, serious, efficient. The job was done by 3 pm. Cleanup was perfect. The telephone staff at the office heard me and arranged everything successfully. This is a company where the left hand DOES know what the right hand is doing. Communication is key and they communicate with kindness and intelligence. And now I have heat. Thanks, HGH.

HGH just helped us install and run a gas line for a fireplace in our home - converting from wood to gas. The stone foundation was thick and they had to pass through a crawl space. They were very professional, on time, clean, and easy to work with throughout proposal to finish. I would definitely work with them again.

From the first call to the completion of my unit replacement HGH was extremely professional and friendly. They were prompt and very conscious of cleanliness. The unit installation was very neat and clean and exactly as the quoted. Price was very fair as well. I would highly recommend them.

Our furnace went up after 34 years, so we searched companies, and found HGH Mechanical. We read the reviews and liked what we saw. From the time we called, everyone was so responsive and professional. We got quotes from other companies as well, and even before we got all the quotes, we noticed none showed the true caring about the customer that HGH did. We chose HGH to do our install, they had great pricing, but even more than that, we were kept up to date on what was going on. On the install day, we had 3 trucks show up, and in no time at all, the old unit was removed, and the new one in. The crew was professional and knowledgeable, they went over everything with us, and came out the next day to do a efficiency test, and gave us the green light for this season. I would highly recommend HGH to anyone in need of heating and air services. We are absolutely customers from here on out!

Working with HGH ultimately got me the system that was perfect for my home. Tom, the head mechanic did a custom job for us. He is a nice man and was very thoughtful. A problem solver and all that you would need to make a project come out its best.

Great experience with all those at HGH…scheduler, estimator, planners, and installers. Not an easy job but a super outcome. My new AC system is more quiet and cost less than the same offered by a well known company. That latter company started high, offered rebates that reduced the cost to make me believe it was a real deal…but the price was still thousands higher than HGH. HGH folks were polite, clean and careful in performing the job. They are the best!
