The freezer compartment of my 10 year old refrigerator was icing up. I tried everything I could think of and when the problem persisted, I called Vladimir @ Vega Refrigerator Repair after an on-line search. Vladimir was able to come out the following day and, after a brief time, was able to see what I had not - that a flexible ice pack had fallen between the food basket & the front of the freezer. A thin corner of the fabric ice pack had been caught between the bottom seals of the freezer door, letting in warm, room air. Vladimir said he would replace the door seals if I wanted, but thought that was unlikely to be necessary (so - no attempt to sell me something I didn't need) and recommended that I defrost the freezer (food had been removed) and let the door gaskets soften up, and then let the freezer cool down again. He seemed confident that the ice pack had caused the problem but said to call him if the problem was not resolved. He only charged me for the service call. It's been 2 weeks and the freezer has been operating just fine -- thank you Vega Refrigerator Repair!

Vlad, from Vega, came today to diagnose the problem I was having with water leaking from
my fridge. He quickly found the problem, explained it clearly to me, and quickly fixed a leaking tube for ice making. I found him to be thorough, efficient and very patient with me. Highly recommend Vega Refrigerator Repair, particularly Vlad. Very reasonable fees and excellent work. Five stars!

Vlad was super nice and very knowledgeable with refrigerators!! We had an issue with a Samsung fridge. Vlad was able to come out on the weekend and within minutes knew the problem. Within a Hr he had it all 100% running like a champ!

I was nervous about searching for a random repairman off the internet. I read the reviews on Google and noticed that Vlad was a member of my community and called. He returned my call within a few hours and was at my house the next morning (Saturday!) He was courteous and professional. He diagnosed our problem immediately and did a repair that got the unit functional again. Then through his diagnostics he found what was the underlying problem. After following up with a quote he ordered the new part and the refrigerator was fully fixed within 10 days. Cost was a fraction of what it would have been to replace the unit. I'm so glad I called!

You can tell this guy knows all about fridge repairs. He showed up, unloaded all of his equipment, then got right to work on my LG fridge. He did an absolutely awesome job and would 100% recommend!

I replaced my own evaporator fan motor on an LG refrigerator. I was worried it still wasn't working, and I called a dozen places to talk to a technician. None would help because I did the installation myself. I messaged Vega, and within a half hour, someone called me back. I forgot his name, but walked me through a couple steps to verify it was working. He even said, "Congratulations, you did a great job!!" You don't find that kind of courtesy much anymore. I would totally trust them, and if I have something I can't do, they're first on my list.

Vlad performed excellent work with diagnosing and repairing our refrigerator when it suddenly stopped working. He took the time to get to the root of the problem and explained exactly which mechanisms failed and which parts needed to be replaced.

Because he was thorough and did not cut corners, we don’t have to stress anymore about losing our groceries or scrambling to buy ice to try to save the contents of a broken fridge.

Very prompt and professional service. Arrived as promised, Quickly diagnosed and repaired . Had the necessary part with them . Only issue is seemed really expensive for a fan replacement .

These guys are the real deal. After calling Samsung several times for service and getting the runaround, I called Vega (Vladimir and company) they came to the house in about 1 hour after the call. They covered their shoes to protect my wood floors and were very meticulous with everything. Vladimir is very adept at referencing issues and materials and isolated the problem to one of 2 possibilities which were more involved and costly than expected but he also offered a less costly alternative (even if somewhat temporary) so we went with that and so far so good. We have a 10 yo fridge. When we need any appliances to be worked on we are calling Vega back and be ready for their quick response.
Highly recommend them.

Vlad is a true professional. Even before he came out he took the time to call me and discuss what was happening. When he arrived (on time) he took care evaluating our refrigerator issues and discussed options for repair. He was mindful of our home too, putting booties on his shoes and laying down a mat to ensure no damage when pulling the fridge out. Highly recommend his services!

Vega Refrigerator Repair was outstanding. On time, great interpersonal skills and kept me aware of everything that was wrong and needed for the repair of the old 2008 ice machine located at the Waxter Senior Center. An ice machine that the Department of General Services of Baltimore City said could not be repaired. I highly recommend Vega.
