Reviews of local pros in Frederick, Maryland

I recently hired A1 Tree Pros for the extensive pruning of a large river birch, a sugar maple, and vitamin injection for a cherry tree.  The river birch was a special challenge because of its large branches with close proximity to my house.  I couldn’t be happier with the results! The team was on time, courteous, and incredibly skilled. They carefully removed several large branches and thinned both trees beautifully. They cleaned up nicely before leaving. I highly recommend A1 Tree Pros to anyone looking for top-notch tree care services! Fairly priced, exceptional service and professional.

Great experience working with A1 Tree pros for tree trimming. They are professional, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this service.

Working with Jeremiah and his team was a wonderful experience! The entire area around our home was way over planted and had very large mulch beds, so we decided to remove most of the plantings and reduce the mulch beds. The before and after looks incredible and we are looking forward to continue working with A1 on future projects to come! Lastly, I wanted to thank Jeremiah for being patient, thorough, and helpful throughout the entire process! It is very rare to work with someone like him in this day and age.

Called up numerous tree companies for quotes on my trees just to get a ball park on what it would take to get 14 trees taken down and stumps all removed. One of these companies was A1 tree pros. Jerry came out the next morning after i called to give a quote and he was very confident they could get these trees out no problem (this is a residential neighborhood and all trees were pretty well leaning the wrong way the shortest tree being about 60 feet tall). They were able to agree on a number and they came out knocked it out in 3-1/2 winter days. Safe to say there’s only one company I’m using from here on out. Plus i requested to leave big lumber right where it fell for my own personal use.

A-1 Tree Pros
We would like to start out by saying, “What a fantastic job” A-1 tree pros did to transform our wasteland of a yard into a green oasis. From our first contact to the finished project, the owner Jeremiah was very professional, courteous, and down-to-earth. After getting four quotes from other companies, we found they could only do portions of what our yard project entailed. Then after reading other reviews, we called A-1 Tree Pros. Jeremiah came out the next day and we went over what we needed to accomplish our project. He was up front with his pricing and what it included. He explained what his business practices were. Safety first, Customer second and Workmanship third. Jeremiah said they could complete the entire project. After my wife and I discussed it, the decision was easy, A-1 Tree Pros was the company we needed.
After waiting for the right weather opportunity, Jeremiah, Izzy, and his crew removed two trees, removed three stumps and completely cleared, graded, and laid the sod in two days. Communication throughout the project was phenomenal! Now our yard has plush green grass, it is beautiful!
We highly recommend A-1 Tree Pros. If you are looking for a company that can help you with your tree or yard project do not hesitate. We will be using their services again in the future.

A storm mortally wounded a large tree, and after asking around, I got an enthusiastic referral from a friend for Jeremiah at A1. He came out and gave me several options after we both came to the sad conclusion that the tree could not be saved. A few days later, his team came out and carefully took it down and cleaned up after, all for an affordable price. Highly recommended.

We called A1 for an urgent situation with a tree that was leaning toward our house. They were able to come out within an hour, assess the situation, and provide a quote. An hour later they were here to remove our tree. Jeremiah and his team were responsive and efficient. We will absolutely use them again in the future!

I highly recommend A1 Tree Pros. Jeremiah was incredibly responsive and provided a very fair, honest estimate. I was particularly concerned about this job because a dying cherry tree and some persistent shrub roots were located directly on top of marked utility lines, but the crew handled it with extreme care and professionalism. They ground the stump and surface roots exactly as we discussed and did a thorough job with the cleanup. It’s rare to find this level of quality, reliability, and attention to detail.

I deliver to them

Stop driving like an A hole.

Lead estimator has the nicest shoes.

Another post for driving like a terrible person. You’re not the only person on the road

Awful quality of work, don’t use them. 5am on a Saturday and they are out there running heavy machinery 50 feet from an apartment building

One of their truck drivers drove aggressively this morning and almost ran me off the road. It's very dangerous driving a 25000 lb truck like that...likely to kill someone.

A truck of theirs just was tailgating me on 70 west. Exited on ramp flying past me and seemed like he was trying to sideswipe me on ramp of buckeystown pike. This type of driving is uncalled for it was raining hard. Idiot

Quality folks doing great work at fair prices, on time and on budget. What more could you ask for?

We have worked with Contour on multiple projects both big and small. Each time, they overdeliver in all aspects. Everyone on the Contour team was a pro and helped ensure our projects were done right and on time. Highly recommended and we will certainly use them again.

I have worked closely with Contour Construction for the last ten years and continue to rely heavily on their wide-ranging expertise, extensive experience, and quick response. Contour completely renovated my historic property, transforming both the commercial and residential spaces, while adhering to strict historic preservation requirements. Such was the quality and professionalism of their work on this project, that I subsequently contracted with them to handle all maintenance and repairs at the building. Contour’s team of professionals are knowledgeable, reliable, and can readily devise creative solutions to perplexing problems to include creating sound barriers between the commercial and residential spaces. Equally notable, they readily engage and have earned the trust of the tenants and play a key role in managing apartment turnovers. Contour Construction is simply topnotch. I highly recommend the company.
