I had a large tree fall in my front yard completely blocking my driveway. It was the morning before a large snow/ice storm was forecasted. I needed this tree cleared immediately. I called a few companies and received various quotes. j & b answered my call, and arrived to assess the situation in less than 30 minutes. They provided a quote that was very fair, and in fact was less than the other quotes I had received. I agreed, and they got right to work. They removed the tree, which was precariously leaning against another large tree, with expert capability. Before I knew it, the job was done. When I went to inspect, there was no evidence the event had ever happened. They cleaned ALL the debris, and left no sign they had even been there. They were friendly and informative at a time when I needed honest answers. I would HIGHLY recommend j & b, and I will not hesitate to call them again should I ever need any tree services.

I’ve been a general contractor for 35 years and was extremely pleased with J&B Tree service. They removed 150 foot tall oak tree from The front yard of a house that was close to high voltage electric lines. Everything needed to be craned over the top of the House. They Were extremely hard-working, safety, cautious, Very professional and left the site cleaner than when they showed up. I would highly recommend them.

I had an excellent experience with J&B Tree Services. Their team came to my property to trim several large trees and the results were outstanding. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, punctual, and very well-organized. They used the right equipment, set up safety cones, and made sure the work area was secure before starting the job.

The crew worked efficiently and clearly knew what they were doing. They trimmed the trees evenly, protected the surrounding fence and landscaping, and cleaned up every branch and leaf afterward — my yard was actually cleaner than before they arrived! I was also impressed by their positive attitude and attention to detail throughout the entire process.

Beautiful Country Landscape removed some trees for us earlier in the summer. We were so impressed with their quality of service, professionalism, and price, that when a large tree in our front yard was struck by lightning last week, we instantly reached out to them again. They finished the work today and safely removed the tree and also removed a few other stumps in the front yard. Once again, we were impressed with the quality of their work. I can't say enough about Beautiful Country. They arrived on time. Handled a very challenging day of taking down very large white pines very close to my house and masterfully did thr job. They also pruned 2 very large trees very nicely in my front yard all in 1 full day. I woukd recommend them anytime!

I had three very large trees that have been slowly losing branches and needed to come down before the snow and ice of winter brought them down on my house. Beautiful Country Landscape came out and inspected the trees within 48 hours of my initial call and sent their signature ready contract and estimate the very same day. Their quote was by far the best of of several quotes I received for the work. On the day of the tree removal, they arrived precisely at 8 am with 5 men, two trucks , and an industrial sized shredder. After assessing the trees and their location, they set up their ropes and tethers and by 2:30 pm had removed the three trees and a large branch from another tree. As soon as a branch was on the ground, the crew cut it up and took the pieces either to the shredder or to the truck to haul it away. All branches, leaves and small sticks were thoroughly removed and the site cleaned up. This team was exceptionally professional and courteous. I was delighted with their work and most highly recommend them!

Beautiful Country Landscape removed three trees for us. They did an awesome job. They cut the tree stumps incredibly low (we opted for no stump grinding or removal), and cleaned up all the debris. They were professional, timely and responsive to all of our questions. We got several quotes and I am happy I chose this company both because of quality of work and value.

The company, using a crane, removed a large, dead oak tree from my backyard. The process was smooth from the beginning. From the estimator, to Keyla in the office and with the crew who did the job.Everyone was courteous and professional, I was impressed when the estimate was emailed to me. Not only was the estimate sent, but they included copies of their insurance liability certificate and their license. This reassured me. On the day of the job, they maneuvered a large crane between my home and my neighbors. It was amazing to watch. They removed the tree, working efficiently as a team. They cleaned up thoroughly after the tree was removed. If you need a tree removed, this is the company to call.. You won’t regret it.

I hired Beautiful Country to trim three trees in my yard. Their price was very reasonable. They did a great job and worked quickly. They cleaned up everything when they were finished. I will definitely hire them again the next time I need tree service. I recommend them to anyone who asks.

I highly recommend this company. The estimator come at scheduled time and I had a reasonable quote. The team arrived on time and completed the job quickly, behaved professionally and cleaned up the area well. They did a wonderful job removing the large oak trees and cut back large branches from other trees. Again, they did a wonderful job and I will use them again. Would definitely recommend using their services to family and friends.

These folks looked like a reliable company from reviews and what I could find on their website, also pleasant on the phone. However, they set up an appointment to come out and estimate a job. Only to call back just prior to the appointment to say we are outside of their service area and thus cancelling the appointment. That would have been nice to know before taking time off to be at home for the estimate! The claim on the phone was they cover all of Maryland, but apparently not all.

We had a couple hiccups the day of the job, but Carlos was great in correcting it after the fact. We appreciated him coming through and finishing the job. The trees that were trimmed and the one dead tree that was removed make the yard look beautiful!

Uncalled for rudeness from job supervisor. Full details:

Recently hired this company to prune and trim two older trees, a serviceberry and weeping cherry in our front yard. Estimate process was quick and the work was scheduled for the next day. The workers arrived on time, made the guys some coffee as it was early on a Saturday, and things were going smoothly until their supervisor arrived.

I asked if they could leave the wood chips behind, so I could use them for my garden etc - didn't seem like a big deal and if they had said no, no biggie.

When they completed the job, I noticed that the second tree hadn't really been trimmed, only large branches removed, and so I asked if they could continue to actually prune the tree, like they had done with the first.

Out of left field, the supervisor gets really nasty with me, accusing me of asking for work that wasn't agreed to/paid for. I explained to him that this is what I discussed the day before with the gentleman who did the estimate, and he proceeded to pull out the service order and ask me, extremely rudely, "can you read english?" This turn really shocked me - honestly I wouldn't expect or accept anyone to speak to another human being like this. The supervisor demanded for me to give him a check on the spot, and I told him I was planning to call the office with a credit card, which I promptly did.

I mentioned to the office staff about this experience and was told the owner would call me back, but I haven't heard anything.
To anyone reading this review, I'm an advocate of taking negative reviews with a grain of salt. Please go ahead and check my other reviews and note that nine of ten reviews I give are 5 stars and I rarely give bad reviews unless the experience calls truly for it. This one absolutely did.

If you do choose to work with this company, I would recommend making sure the estimate includes all the detail you discussed.

I've used Beautiful Country Landscape for a variety of projects over the past 5 years and they've always done a fantastic job. I find that their pricing is very reasonable and they always deliver quality work. Recently they removed a very very tall tree that was dying and in danger of falling on my house. I've also used them for general landscaping, bamboo and overgrowth removal, seeding and aeration, among other things. I highly recommend!

From start to finish, working with this company was efficient and pleasant. I had three different estimates prior to reaching out to Beautiful Country and they had the best price. They were communicative, reliable and honest folks. I could not recommend them enough!

BC planted grass for us for a cool $1K. Though we watered it the first 15 days as instructed, grass growth has been spotty at best. Called twice early in the summer to have someone come over to consult. Was told both time that "Maynard" would drop by - no time arranged, no call received by us to arrange a time. No one called or came. Also, plastic grass grid implanted by BC - apparently for grass growth - was not removed, leading to a tripping hazard. (Two of countless photos of results attached.) Only reason 1 star wasn't given: grass cutting was faithfully done each week throughout the summer. (UPDATE: Called again two days ago - 12/15 - to have BC remove the green plastic grid. Spoke again to a woman who passed along my message. Again: no reply. Not holding my breath to receive any.)

Beautiful Country did an excellent job of removing two 90ft trees plus a third tree at 75 feet in one day! Highly skilled crew was amazing to watch! The crew was friendly and did a very good job of cleaning up afterwards. All the work was done manually with no large machinery in the back yard. The massive trunks and branches were wheeled manually to front yard where a crane removed them the next morning. Extremely reasonable cost. We highly recommend this extremely efficient company! Since we have many more mature trees we will definitely be hiring this company again!
