First met owner Mike for an evaluation and getting proposals for replacement of my old gas furnace and air conditioner. He was very professional. Explained the different options and pros and cons. Knows his stuff. Went with the Mitsubithsi heat pump for my whole house ducted system. Appreciated that Mike specified the higher end unit for greater efficiency and reliability--but still within my budget. The Crew came a couple of weeks later--arrived on time, explained what they were doing, answered questions well, were very efficient, hard working and courteous. The installation took 2 days--a different crew came 2nd day--they were also great. Said they had a contest between the 2 crews to see which one gets better reviews--I give them both big 5s. The office was patient and helpful getting all the complicated information together--warranties, BGE rebates, Federal tax credit, payment options, etc. Also gave a discount for cash payment which I appreciated. The installation is neat, quiet, and works great. Thank you!

I chose S&L Prime due to the great reviews here and I am glad we did. We had an A/C compressor issue a that a previous servicer (think color Blue.)quoted us $2,400 to repair! That company left us in sweltering heat for a day but Dave from S&L had our unit running in minutes for the price of a service call. We will definitely be using them in the future! Update: We did use their service again and are very satisfied. Mike skillfully replaced the compressor motor.

Finally, a reliable and honest HVAC company! I found this company from a reddit post by another customer who was having similar difficulties as I when trying to obtain quotes for a mini-split unit. After 5 quotes from 5 different companies, S&L Prime was one of 2 to disclose a BGE automatic rebate and the exact make & models of the equipment to be installed at my mom's. 3 companies never mentioned there were any rebates. 2 wouldn't provide the model numbers. 1 provided a discontinued unit as the only option unless I signed the contract. S&L Prime provided 2 options and explained the pros & cons of each. The staff were in constant contact about the status of the equipment delivery and installation schedules. They showed up each time that they said they would. They completed the job with professionalism, and my elderly mom is very happy.
