We have a concrete driveway that was becoming separated and raised at one point on the driveway. It was something that we knew needed to be repaired before someone might accidentally hurt themselves. Our neighbors were having work done at their home. I approached a lady named Brittany and told her of our dilemma. She did some calculations and had the crew when they were finished at our neighbor's house come look at our driveway. Within no time at all, they accepted the job and did a fabulous job at fixing the area on our concrete driveway. They definitely were very professional and everything looked wonderful when they were done. Thank you Ram Jack.

I first called RamJack when I was panicked about my home showing signs of foundational damage. I had gone down an Internet rabbit hole and was absolutely convinced that my house was going to be condemned. I was worried sick, not sleeping, and crying constantly, believing that this matter was urgent and our beautiful new home was unsafe to live in. RamJack knew how upset I was, so they were super kind to me on the phone (they spoke to me like I was a friend, not a potential customer) and sent over their specialist Kevin Brooks right away, that very day. At no cost to me, Kevin evaluated our home with a fine-tooth comb, taking the time to explain everything to me in detail, and ultimately assured me that I had nothing to worry about. I was so relieved, and left the experience trusting RamJack completely. A few weeks later when I had actual foundational issues (water from a neighbor's downspout seeping into our basement) I knew RamJack was the place to go. Again, they sent over Kevin right away. He was super straightforward with me and immediately identified the issue and the (super simple) fix. (Note: this is in comparison to another guy from a similar company who had come the day before telling me we basically had to excavate our exterior wall). Kevin gave me a quote on the spot and is coming back soon to do the work personally. I have complete peace of mind. In sum: I am SO happy to have found RamJack, and I now refer to Kevin Brooks as my personal hero. And I mean it sincerely.

We recently purchased a home knowing the garage foundation along two walls had sunk about 5 inches including a break in the slab. I called several companies for estimates. No one compared to the service we received from RamJack Chesapeake. They answered all my questions and performed the work with great results. High five to the crew! They came out. Salesman tried to upsell me on pumps for a minor water problem in my basement (took care of it by re-grading it), and pilings for my garage, seven of them at $2000 a piece. Person with him said he didn't think I needed to go to those extremes. The salesman also asked me how I was going to pay for it. As long as he got paid, that was none of his business as far as I was concerned. My guess is they must offer financing at some percentage rate so people can pay for the job as well as extra for financing.

While not adverse to eventually getting the work done on the garage, what I wanted done first was to have the front sidewalk leveled, and an approximately 35 foot drain tube replaced in my yard. (Ended up digging out and replacing the tube myself.)

Never heard back with the promised estimate for any of the proposed work. Guess my money wasn't good enough.

The house might need some lifting in the basement, too. Never discussed it with them at that time. I would have if they'd gotten back to me with the estimates for the outside work. I won't be calling them.

I also own a second home in need of repair work in a concrete stairwell. I won't be calling them.

I am extremely pleased with the results of the installation. Your crew was one of the best that I have ever worked with for home repair. First and foremost, there was an extremely open line of communications. The crew understood my concerns and I was able to understand their concerns too. Dillon, the team lead, displayed his knowledge and professionalism the entire time, and is truly an asset to your company. The other crew members worked just as hard to get the job done. It was clear that everyone wanted to get the job done “right” (not just make a buck like I’ve seen with many other contractors). They also appeared to take pride in their workmanship which I really appreciated.
The result of the lift was that no windows were damaged, no stones were loosened, the house was lifted properly to the correct height, and all cracks between the stone and the house were closed to within ¼’-1/2” of the original spacing.
I am also confident that piles were driven in to a proper depth and have more than enough load bearing capacity to support the weight of the structure for the life of my house.

I received several bids for the waterproofing services I needed. Ram Jack Chesapeake offered the best overall solution and pricing. They kept me informed as the work was being done and provided a quality system which will keep my house well protected. They were a pleasure to work with!

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with a company that takes pride in what they do and are exceptionally proficient. The employees we dealt with from Brittany's initial visit and estimate, to John and his crew that came to do the work were just flat out nice people.
We had basement walls that needed reinforcement and were very pleased with the finished product. Based on this I would recommend Ram Jack for any of the services they offer.

My house had some major structural issues and needed a lot of work including new pilings, beams, sump pump install, etc. It was a hugely stressful and time consuming project, but RamJack was there every step of the way to explain and make sure it was all done right. I received great customer service from Brittany, Bailey, Dylan, John, Felix and the rest of the crew. I am glad I went with this company after getting quotes from several others that were really only interested in upselling.

Ram Jack came recommended by another company and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. Wendy was fantastic to work with. She put a proposal together for us (which was lower than other quotes we received for the same work) and also sought her colleagues feedback as it was an odd job. We had to have a contractor remove some of our walls during the process, and they wanted Wendy to confirm everything was completed properly. She was super accommodating and was happy to come out in between jobs to take a look. She oversaw all of the work being done, and when they hit a snag, immediately stopped and talked me through my options. She again asked around and followed-up by email on some additional options to consider. It was truly a pleasure working with Wendy, and I had a great experience working with Ram Jack.

The work itself went really well. My husband talked to Richard, he was awesome to talk to and he answered all questions we asked him.

The reason why I’m giving this company 1 star is the communication. The office personnel communication was TERRIBLE. My husband was in contact with Bailey. She did not communicate with us throughout the entire process. She said the permits for doing our foundation were sent out a certain date, but in reality it wasn’t sent into the county until 6 weeks later than informed. It was ridiculous. All we wanted were answers and she rarely answered our emails. I completely understand if they had issues with the permitting process, but all we wanted were answers to our questions. My husband had to call the county to get answers about the permits. My husband also had to contact Richard to get answers about permits.
Once the permits were finally approved, the work itself for the foundation was great and quick.
When it was time for billing, again NO COMMUNICATION. We were never sent a final invoice for the work that was done until we got an email saying our payment was 30 days PAST DUE. We never got the first email with an invoice completing the job.

We recently used Ram Jack to repair the pavement in front of our house and we loved it! We had numerous flooding issues whenever it rains due to the ground being uneven and it became a nuisance trying to get rid of it. After some careful evaluation, they were able to fix it at an agreeable price. The crew was very hardworking and the issue was resolved very quickly. We will definitely be using them again in the future if we have any future issues or repairs!

Ram Jack Chesapeake recently performed foundation repair work, laid a new walkway and installed railings on my porch. I had never done business with Ram Jack before but after meeting Richard Hammond, my initial point of contact, I felt confident about selecting Ram Jack. He is customer-focused, professional and knowledgeable. And then there is Bailey, who was my ‘go to’ person. What a delight she was to work with!! Respectful, helpful, very customer-friendly, professional, knows company policy and procedures and followed through on any request I asked of her or concern expressed. Completion of my project was seamless primaryily due to the concerted effort, concern and dedication of Dillon and Bailey. Without reservation, I highly recommend Ram Jack Chesapeake to meet your foundation repair needs. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Best experience I have had in quite a while with a contractor!

Ramjack was professional, communicative, and patient with me throughout a three month process, from inspection to proposals to the work being done. The final work looks great.

They did the demolition for my entire basement and repoured the slab with underlayers, using foam injection for a small patch under the staircase and HVAC to keep that secure. The work had to be coordinated with plumbing as well, which was completely smooth. I also had Ramjack do the work on an unrelated issue, shoring up supports for an exterior deck-turned-sunroom.

Ramjack offered me many options, and I appreciated both their flexibility and their professional advice. I had several other inspections and bids for comparison - Ramjack was consistently open and honest about the repairs needed without trying to upsell me, and their prices were competitive for all aspects of the job.

All the work looks great, and I don't expect to need more done - but if anything new comes up, Ramjack will be my first call.

They put an interior French drain in 2 different places in my basement and added an extra sump pump to help water proof the area. The company was great to work with. Very responsive and timely. They even found other issues not related to what they were doing and gave us time to get those addressed instead of moving past them. Very happy with the entire experience this company provided. Highly recommend.

Scott and his team repaired the vinyl custom arches above our windows that were starting to rot. They also repaired a siding issue and reattached loose gutters. They were very professional and did a great job!

Most Valuable Painters came out quickly to give us an estimate and were on the job as soon as we could schedule! They estimated a 3 day job and finished in two days and did an excellent job. They are awesome.

This company did an amazing job of painting the cabinets in my kitchen and some walls. Their level of detail and care is top-notch and they treat you like family. The entire time I felt my questions were answered and they walked me through every decision I made. I plan to rehire this company to paint my kitchen counter tops!

Besides being the most friendly workers, they did a beautiful job painting our ceilings. They moved, covered, and put back our furniture in our basement. I would highly recommend using this service for professional quality work. I will definitely being giving them a call for future projects!😁

Our experience with MVP was very pleasant and enjoyable. They worked around our schedule, they were professional, found nail pops and pits in the ceiling that our eyes didnt see. They spackled and sanded just about every ceiling in our home. Covered the furniture, floors, and walls to protect our valuables. I would hire them again. Very pleased.
