Dave and his crew are AMAZING!!! They do incredible work in a timely and precise manner, and Dave has provided excellent service with honesty, accuracy and efficiency. I will always recommend NLT to my family and friends and will definitely call on them again for any future projects. 5 stars through and through!

NLT added too our home a 24 x 24 garage and the finished job is beautiful. Dave Cedrone and his crew are expert craftsmen who take pride in their work. Since the garage was built NLT has replaced two balconies on our house, again with an excellent result. I've also recommended him too friends who were as impressed with NLT as we are.

I can give this company my highest recommendation without reservation. You will deal directly with the owner, Dave, through the whole process from estimate, to design to build. He is on time every time, very available and responsive, very professional and a pleasure to work with. He is willing to consider the client's insights and suggestions. The quality of the work is also of the highest caliber. The work crew is professional, respectful and highly skilled. The owner visited the job site every day and addressed any concerns.

Do plan well ahead if you want to use this company as they are booked months in advance. But that's because they are that good.

NLT is, unfortunately, all too rare in the construction business. it is difficult to find honest, reliable companies these days. It was a lucky day when I discovered Dave and NLT and decided to use them for my project. Do yourself a favor and consider them for your next project.

Dave and his crews constructed a beautiful porch (deck and overhanging roof) for us. It was a complicated project since the deck is substantially elevated and the roof needed to tie nicely into an existing bump-out. Throughout the project, Dave made sure the porch was realizing our vision. He listened closely, offered design suggestions, and provided crystal clear drawings of the new construction. He was incredibly detail oriented, offered suggestions to keep the project budget in check, and helped us deal with a few product shortages. Dave was in touch constantly and kept the project moving quickly. He quickly remedied the one small imperfection that I noticed and delivered a truly stunning backyard space that exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend.

Dave is the best contractor I’ve worked with. We had him redo our kitchen, and appreciated him and his team at every level: his attention to detail, his detailed meeting notes, the ideas he contributed to the project, modifications along the way, his general positive and fun attitude, and his responsiveness and professional approach. His team is also excellent, taking great care to protect non work areas and clean up every day. They stuck to a good schedule and got the work done in a timely fashion.

We had originally got a quote from him for some basement work, too. We ended up going with the cheaper guy and really regretted it: costs mounted, weeks went by without work, etc. We ended up having Dave finish some of it. Remodeling is the kind of job where you get (and have to live with) what you pay for. We really like Dave’s model of charging just for labor and not upselling on materials or subcontractors. Straightforward and honest, and to be frank, I think the bottom line ends up not being that much more. Can’t recommend him enough.

Our experience with NLT Construction was outstanding. They were very professional, detailed-oriented, committed, and personable. During our entire engagement, we were kept informed, they were on-timwithin budget, used quality materials, and cleaned as they went. Outside of all the great things mentioned above, the most impressive was having Dave as the quarterback for this project. There were other professionals working on this project and he made sure everyone understood the interfaces to ensure the success of the project. I can't stress how important that role, skill set, and management style made the difference. If anyone is looking to do any remodeling in your home--I would recommend using NLT Construction hands down. They have become my "go-to" partners for all things construction. For the record my gym, storage areas, new bedroom, and sauna is the new centerpiece of our home. NLT Construction Rocks!

I had the pleasure of working with Dave and his team at NLT when they finished my cold, unwelcoming basement. I told him I wanted it to "not look like a basement," and he designed and built a beautiful new space with all the features I specified. NLT was always on time, with clean and neat workspaces and respectful workers. In addition to the quality, an on-time execution, and a fair price, Dave's can-do, friendly attitude brought my stress level right down and made the experience actually pleasant. NLT Construction did a complete remodel of the main bathroom in our 1940 colonial. Dave was super responsive and explained everything in detail so that we could understand each step of the process (a lot of old pipes and original flooring and tub had to be removed, so it was a big job). We have used a few contractors in the past and can say without hesitation that Dave, Rodolfo, and team are worth the extra money. The attention to detail is excellent, and we were thrilled with not only the beautiful final result but also the professionalism, level of communication, and responsiveness. We will definitely use NLT again!

Dave Cedrone and NLT Construction are top-notch. He thinks about every single detail and really listens to and respects what you want. Anytime we have a project to be done on our house, we contact no one else but Dave. He really knows his stuff. My father was an architect so I appreciate how attentive to detail Dave is. He has done several very big projects on our house. He responds very quickly to all communication and will also initiate communication if he wants to consult with you on a question or an update. I really can't say enough about how good Dave and NLT Construction are and I recommend them hands down over anyone else!

This is the third time we've had NLT do remodeling work for us, and once again we are extremely happy with the results. We had 2 major additions previously, and this time we had a bathroom remodeled. Dave is very easy to work with and was responsive at every step along the way to make sure we knew what was going on. During the pandemic, it was especially important to have people we trusted in our home; the NLT team definitely meets that high bar and we were always comfortable with them. At this point we've pretty much run out of things to remodel, but we would absolutely recommend NLT for remodeling and additions.

Dave at NLT has done three jobs for me over the past several years, including an enclosure, with a metal roof, for basement steps, converting a large screened porch to a 3 season porch and changing the existing roof pitch, installing a new roof and replacing all of the existing windows with custom sized windows on an accessory apartment adjacent to my home.
On the porch conversion I wanted to keep the exposed wood on the inside while making the exterior maintenance free. All of the windows needed to be custom sized. Dave is very easy to work with as are his subs and all three projects turned out great.
I definitely recommend NLT and, if I can figure out more things that I want to change on my home, will use him again.

We just finished a full bathroom remodel with Dave and his crew.
This was our 3rd project with NLT Construction including a full kitchen remodel and 2 full bathrooms. Dave is the most professional and conscientious contractor we have ever worked with and the only one we have used multiple times. Dave and his crew are extremely punctual for appointments and showing up for work each day. They clean up their work area every day before leaving. Dave is always available to answer any questions or deal with concerns before, during and after the work is complete. We highly recommend NLT Construction.

We've hired Dave and his team several times over the past 10 years. Their most recent work was a portico over our side door. Per usual, the work was outstanding. More importantly, Dave is the most responsible and responsive contractor I've ever worked with. He fully conveyed expectations up front. And then he and his crew (Rob and Jeff) did the one thing that tells you they're in the top 1% of contractors... they thought through the ENTIRE job before doing ANYTHING and then talked with us about how they might proceed. I've worked with dozens of contractors in my life and that's how you can tell real pros... the ones that anticipate challenges in advance and navigate around them. We'll never hire anybody else. Dave & NLT are the best.

Last fall we used NLT Construction for the second time. The first time was to redo the exterior of our home. The second time was to completely gut and remodel our basement. Dave Cedrone, the owner, worked with us on every detail, which included creating a 6 foot wide window though the concrete. Dave is very responsive, and his crew does excellent work. Dave was frequently onsite, and he coordinated and supervised the work of all the subcontractors (the carpenters work only for NLT, and they are excellent). He is a perfectionist, and it shows in all the details of the work done.

We love the way the basement looks, and we are currently scheduled to have NLT remodel the upstairs of our house [the kitchen cabinets have a very long lead time].

NLT is not the cheapest company around, but if you want the highest quality work, a responsive contractor, attention to detail, and a job that starts and finishes when Dave says it will, I highly recommend NLT.

I enthusiastically recommend Dave Cedrone and NLT Construction! My house required a new basement stairwell drain with dedicated sump pump, replacement of moldy and rotted basement baseboards, front porch railing, vinyl siding, and back deck replacement. Dave was extremely responsive throughout the process, patiently answering questions, coming to property to evaluate progress, and providing daily reports with photos. No financial surprises as he kept costs and materials (receipts provided) under the estimate. His crews (shout out to Jeff, Ken, and Rob) and subcontractors (hello to Danny, Aaron, and Frank) are professional, courteous, and hardworking. The finished results are superb and spectacular. Will be using NLT Construction for my future home improvement projects. A++.

NLT Construction did two different projects for me in the Summer of 2023. The projects involved wall construction, wall finishing, custom wood shelving, custom cedar trim, exterior vents, etc. Both projects started and finished exactly on time, came in under budget, and the quality was excellent. Their drywall work is the smoothest I have ever seen. The finished carpentry was perfect and there was literally nothing at all to complain about. Dave at NLT had some creative solutions to some unique problems. As Dave will tell you, they are not going to be your cheapest quote, BUT... in the end you are going to be very happy with the results and you won't regret using them.

Dave was fantastic to work with. When a tree fell on my garage, he worked with me to understand exactly what would be needed to repair/rebuild. He provided advice for how to deal with my (extremely unhelpful) insurance company, and was patient while I worked through that process before we could begin the work to rebuild. He lined up the subcontractors and scheduled them out on the project. His time and cost estimates were right on the money for the entire project. Nothing was a surprise during the project, and he maintained constant communication throughout. I will definitely go to Dave for any other work I have.

Dave at NLT and his entire team are exceptional!!! We could not have been more pleased with the project and all aspects of it. Dave and his team are customer-focused and true craftsmen. They take their time to do the job correctly and focus on all details of the job to make sure it's done correctly. Dave's communication is flawless. He is quick to respond, always checking in and provides timely updates - and his attention to detail is amazing! We cannot say enough great things about Dave and NLT. A++ from beginning to end.

My kitchen project is my second home improvement project with NLT Construction. After shopping around with numerous kitchen renovation companies and not being satisfied with their vision of my dream kitchen, I engaged Dave because I was confident NLT Construction could deliver my kitchen concept. Dave’s employees and contractors were highly professional and skilled in every aspect of the job, making for an enjoyable experience. Dave kept me abreast of all issues and recommended suggestions to enhance the kitchen’s aesthetics. During the renovation, there was minimal dust, and the team cleaned after every workday. At the start of the project, I recall Dave saying, “I want to make you happy.” I can honestly say Dave and his team delivered on that promise.

Had a great experience using Dave and his crew for my deck replacement. Dave came out for an estimate in Feb, said he'd be able to start in late May and the timing worked out as he estimated. The crew was here daily until the job was complete. Quality and responsiveness was top notch. Will definitely contact NLT Construction for future needs.

Dave & his team did an amazing job completing our garage expansion project. Never knew I would one day say “I have a beautiful garage!”.

We first met with Dave while we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel with a different contractor. He was kind enough to spend time with us reviewing their work on multiple occasions, and gave us feedback on things that were done well and not so well so as to be corrected. He is so genuine, and it's clear he enjoys all things construction.

Dave is one-of-a-kind, his attention to detail is remarkable, and he's the type of guy that brings everyone else up to his level. He was constantly on site throughout our project. And even though he runs multiple crews, his responsiveness makes you feel like you're always his top priority.

Project costs were completely transparent, and the business model was exactly what we were looking for. For instance, we met directly with the electricians initially to detail exactly what we wanted, and Dave took care of the rest after that.

Dave managed everything start to finish, and proactively improved issues with the existing structure (for example: adding joist hangers and sistering questionable joists in the original garage). His crews have his same work ethic with daily schedules & their own work habits.

We will only use NLT construction for our future projects.
