Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. Failed to fix what was wrong with my brand new washing machine. And for inexplicable reasons, the technician still reported to his front office that “everything was working.” Kindof like saying I know you asked me to fix your ice maker in your fridge, which I couldn’t fix, but since your fridge still works “everything is working.” Aaargh! As a result, Whirlpool cant proceed to help me get a new machine until it confirms with an authorized technician that his fix didn’t work. Front office at MC appliance insists that “everything is working” per the technician so end of story. This is nothing less than maddeningly bizarre. And frustrating beyond belief.

    DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!
This is 100% by far the worst repair company I have ever worked with. I got a warranty through SEARS. I didn’t even choose them. My first appointment window was from 12-4pm. They show up finally at 5:30 pm. I tried calling sears and they gave me their number which rang busy then disconnected every time I tried. It did the same for SEARS’s customer service. I was clear on the issue when I made the appointment and they were supposed to fix it then. They guy knew the problem and parts needed before even coming in my house and was like yep what I thought okay we will order the parts and schedule an apt with you. He was there 4 less than 10 mins after 5 hrs of waiting on them.

They took 2 weeks to get the part and I was without an oven. My apt window was from 1-5pm. They call me at 10am saying they were coming and is anyone home. Of course I wasn’t I having a job. They asked if there was any way for me to come before my scheduled window. I told them 12 would be the earliest. The receptionist said that works and he will be at my house waiting. I make arrangement with my boss take off to make it there by 12. No one was there. I call the company they put me on hold for 10 mins and then hang up on me. I call back and they said they never called me to be there by 12. Everyone in my office heard the convo so I know I’m not crazy. They refused to send someone at that time and said he will call you 20 mins before arriving. Well I don’t know about anyone else but I can’t take countless times off work to fit their schedule. I am so annoyed. Thanksgivings next week and who know when I will have a working oven.

Incompetent. The repairman who came to diagnose why our washing machine was not working did not do the basics, which would include actually looking at the part he decided to replace. He just pressed a bunch of buttons and let the machine "diagnose" itself. Well lo and behold when my husband decided to take a look he found that the plastic pan underneath the machine had melted onto the machine and that was why it had stopped working. We paid $75 for nothing, and almost brought him back to make an unnecessary repair for $200 more. I want my money back!! Avoid if you can, people like this do not do the minimum and will not fix your appliances properly.

They were supposed to come repair my refrigerator through my home depot warranty on 6/26 between 1-5. They called to confirm my appointment the day before. I called them on the 26th to confirm they were still coming, she said yes. I left my job to go wait for them at my house. 430 rolls around I hear nothing, so I called again, she said he had gotten a flar tire and was behind and I could reschedule or he could come later. I said no I took half a day off without pay to be home so please tell hi he needs to come. She said ok and tells me I cant get in contact with him but I'll try again. I said ok. 456 rolls by still no one. I called again...no answer....I called home depot filed a complaint and now have to wait another 2 days and continue you throw food out as they go bad.

The technician has been to my house 4 times. Has misdiagnosed my dryer problem 4 times. Aka like he doesn’t want to do the work. I have spent money on an electrician to make sure it wasn’t my circuits and the tech still keeps not fixing the problem. Then keeps “bringing the wrong parts” I can’t get a manger on the phone and the customer service person does not follow up with returns calls as she states she would. Pooooor customer service

This company lies!!! The service person, Juan, came out to look at my Kitchenaid refrigerator that is only 1.5 years old and has not been cooling since May. After 7 services calls by one company, the extended warranty people sent MC services. Juan did not come with any tools, not even a thermometer. He told me to my face that it registered at 43 degrees and could not figure out why it had to be set at 33 degrees to get it down to 43 degrees. I explained that it fluctuated between 43 degrees and 50 degrees. He told me he would note that and that I would be hearing back from them. Well, they did not call me back. They hardly answer their phone and when I finally got a hold of someone I was told to call the exended warranty company. They then told me Juan told them my refrigerator registered 37 degrees and that it was fully functional. THIS COMPANY LIES. I saw the good reviews, but mine should scare you enough to stay clear. Even the extended warranty rep told me they have difficulties with this company, BEWARE!!!

Echoing the sentiment of most reviewers here -this company was horrible and incompetent. Didn't fix my leaking washer, now it still leaks and sounds awful. We made several appointments, but were told there was no record of them when we called to confirm the day before, then someone randomly showed up on days we weren't expecting them. The appointment setter did not seem to understand English very well and I could not get through to a manager. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Only 1 star because you cant post reviews with NO STARS! You would be better off flagging down anyone off the street to repair your appliances than calling MC Appliances. I can only recommend that you avoid them at ALL COST! Terrible customer service, technicians have no idea what they are doing. Came out to look at our brand new refrigerator 3 times for the same problem, 3 different diagnosis, no repair ever done. Frigidaire had to send out another repair tech NOT from MC appliances.

STAY AWAY from this company. I had to get my oven door replaced and KitchenAid said I had to use MC Appliance Repair because they were a certified KitchenAid repair company. While replacing my oven door, the technicians scratched my hardwood floors. The damage was obvious. The technician, Rico, denied any responsibility and the manager, Julia, at MC Appliance Repair said they weren't paying for the repair of my hardwood floors and denied they did anything wrong. This people are liars and should not be in business. Believe these reviews and stay away!

Don't bother! My extended warranty used this company to service my stove. Technician LeAndre attempted to install a new touchpad to my stove. But the touchpad wasn't aligned and buckled on the left end so another technician Mike came out. Mike realigned the touchpad however it still buckled. Both technicians tried to convince me that this was all they could do. I had to call my extended warranty to grant MC appliance to perform a recall service. MC Appliance never showed up! When I tried to call the representative said they were overbooked. Reported this "No Show" incident to my warranty company and I was able to get another contractor. Thank GoD! The customer service is poor and technicians are incompetent. Save yourself the headache!

This company is awful – they lied multiple times and did not repair the microwave and cooktop. Also, the technician threw the parts that cover the edges of my dishwasher. When the technician came the third time, he said they ordered the wrong parts for my cooktop after waiting for a couple of months. He promised to call me back the next day, but he never did. People in their office are unprofessional and lied to me every time I spoke with them. They are scamers and avoid doing business with this company.

If I could post zero stars I would The technician by the name of Michael Castillo was a knowledgeable and very rude had no idea even the location he was supposed to be servicing my unit I was totally unsatisfied with his explanation of why he couldn't find the proper address when it was on the paperwork very unprofessional terrible time management and communication was nearly impossible I highly recommend that you never use this company

I set up an appointment through whirlpool for today and waited all day and no one came. I called whirlpool and whirlpool called them . They said that they didn't have me in their system. I called MC Appliances to onky find out that they wanted to reschedule my appointment until December 4th and needed my credit card info. However when my appointment was made with whirlpool they didn't need such information. After reading the many bad reviews I am shocked that Whirlpool would even bothered with them.

My washing machine has been broken since June 14th. I was assigned MC Appliances through our Frigidaire warranty with Appliance Land. Appointment #1 was on June 23rd, we waited the allotted window of 12-5, he showed up at 4:45, realized it was a two person job (having to move the washing machine) and left, so we had to reschedule. The warranty however, does not cover two people, so appointment #2 was scheduled for the following week, June 30th and we were charged $125 for the second person. They showed up again, at the tail end of the 12-5 window, around 4:40 this time and did not have the proper part, so they left, again, without fixing the washer. Appointment #3 was scheduled for July 10 (giving themselves over a week to retrieve the necessary part). During the appointment the washing machine was finally fixed! Or so we thought. The major draining issue was fixed, but the washer still leaked. We called MC Appliances directly and they treated it as a new appointment, acted as though they had no records of the visit to our home, and gave us an appointment for July 24, this was appointment #4. We called a few days to prior to be sure they were sending 2 people and had the proper parts. Not surprisingly, they were sending only one person and did not have the parts so we had to reschedule. So, appointment #5 was yesterday (July 31). We again had a 12-5 window, we saw the MC truck parked outside at 1:45, the repairman called at 2:10 to say he was 20 mins away which was odd and also a lie. He "arrived" at 2:30pm and replaced the rubber around the door to prevent leaking. He left and we thought the washer was finally fixed. I went to run the machine and finally do some laundry and now the door won't close or lock. It just pops back open so of course it now doesn't work. I called and texted the repairman and he blocked my phone number. When we called MC they again acted as though this was a new job and did not call their repairman to come back immediately and fix what he broke, despite our insistence. We now have appointment #6 set for tomorrow and have requested another repairman as this gentleman, in the end, has cost us 6 days away from work, endless hours of waiting, only managed to repair two things over 5 appointments, and has now broken one and will not return my phone calls. I've been given another window of 12-5 for tomorrow's appointment. I was told to call back if I wanted to speak with the owner and no one at the management level has reached out to me to discuss the issue despite many phone calls asking for assistance and management intervention.

EDIT: Looking at the reviews, it seems like the company wrote some fake ones to bring up the average. There are a string of positive ones that are short, poorly written, and tend to make the same general point ("Wow, reviews looked bad but company good, hire company.") But I am not surprised given how badly they treat their customers.

This was single handedly the worst experience I have ever had with a repair company. I was trying to get an appliance under warranty repaired in a recently purchased home in which no one was yet living. They originally scheduled a repair window of 12-5, which is absurdly large. On calling them the morning of, they aid to call back at noon and they would have a more accurate timeframe for the repairs. Calling at noon, they said the repair person had already left the area.

Fine, we rescheduled. For the next one, they promised to call 30 minutes out. They never did, and so the repair person did a drive by.

Upon calling to ask for an explanation as to why they failed to call, they informed me they had closed the account "because they had been out there so many times." Twice, both of which were their fault as we did exactly what they told us to. They also hung up on me.

    NEVER use this company.

We were sent to MC Appliances through 360 Central (the warranty company). We waited all morning for an appointment (8-12 window) only to be told 40 mins after the end of 4 hours that it would be 2 more hours. The excuse - "traffic" and another appointment. No remorse or apology. Just a threat to cancel the appointment. When the tech person showed up he had no idea of how to repair a GE Dishwasher. He got on Skype and was telling the shop that he had never seen a faceplate that didn't have screws. He broke it and left. AWFUL company with incompetent service people. AVOID these guys at all costs.

Rico and Elijah did a great job on servicing my machines! They were ahead of schedule, friendly, and very professional! They knew the exact error and how to fix it quickly. They even provided me recommendations on a new machine. I know that I can always depend on MC Appliance Repair. They have been helping me out for years. Thank you MC Appliance Repair!!

Water started leaking into the freezer compartment of Whirlpool refrigerator purchased at Lowe's less than a year ago. (Model WRT318FZDW01). Called Whirlpool, and help desk says this is a chronic problem with this model and it needs a larger drain tube installed, and/or a new "P-trap." Refer me to MC Appliance Repair.

Repair rep. (Maurice) comes out and melts ice with hair dryer and wants to leave. I won't sign off because manufacturer says new part needed. Maurice says he will order part and get back to me. Call MC next day to learn that Maurice lied about our communication and told them customer did not want new part. Asked to talk to supervisor ("Mike") who defended rep. (relative?) and said this model does not need a new part and the problem is caused because my condenser needs cleaning, which they do not do. Mike recommends I got to Home Depot, buy a special brush and do it my self on a regular basis. It is unclear to me how a clean condenser will stop a leak into the freezer compartment.

Call Whirlpool help desk again to report problem, and they find a different repair company, but unfortunately MC is the only factory-authorized repair source in my area. I recommend they change that, and that you do not use this company. They suck.

Had 2 Kitchen Aid refrigerators that were not making ice. Called MC Appliance they sent a tech out called Rico. He was wonderful and kind. Diagnosed the problems right away and fixed the ice makers. The receptionist was very understanding when I experienced a small problem. Rico came right out again and was honest in his diagnosis of the problem. i would not hesitate to use them again or refer my friends to them because of my great experience. While I read the negative reviews I always use my own experience with a co to go by my decision.

Never use this company. Just horrible customer service. Unfortunately Whirlpool/Jennair has MC under contract for some reason -- they shouldn't. I arranged with Jennair for a warranty repair for my gas range.
Jennair sends MC the details of the requested repair. I wait ten days for an appointment. In the meantime MC should have ordered the necessary part to repair the oven --THEY NEVER DID. The morning of the appointment MC calls and cancels claiming they don't have the part. Of course they didnt have the part, they never looked at the work order from Jennair until the very morning of the appointment!! Long story short, I now have a repair appointment with a reputable, reliable provider under contract with Jennair.

The worst company you could ever hope to deal with! Terrible customer service. Untrained and unprofessional technicians. They damaged my dishwasher when they were attempting to make the repair. The manager Julie refuses to speak with me about her technicians. The person that answers the phone Norma, is uncooperative, unprofessional and pretends to be nice with sarcastic undertones to her behavior. The company is horrible. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business bureau. They caused $400 in damage to my home and machine that I ended up hiring a plumber to come repair my dishwasher.
