We are please with the results of the project done. The kitchen looks great! We were lucky to use this company, Calvin always updated me during the process of this project. He was professional in his communication. We will definitely use this company for future needs.

Several years ago we called Genesis for an estimate for our tub/shower. They were timely and professional. I reffered them to my mom, Genesis has completed a tub/shower, a complete bathroom, and built a garage. Every job is completed beautifully. This week I contacted Genesis again for a kitchen renovation project. Hopefully we will have another project completed by Genesis soon.

Genesis did an amazing job transforming our bathroom! It looks like it should be in a model home. Everyone in the company was easy to work with and great at explaining each step of the project. No need to look further, use these guys!

The work performed by Genesis was superior. I have not had good experiences with black owned contracting companies, but I am proud to say, Genesis exceeded the expectation. They were thorough, professional, timely, clean, exact and accommodating. I was extremely pleased and relieved with the level of service provided by Genesis Contracting.

The Genesis Team went above and beyond all expectations! We could not be more thrilled with the work they did around our house. Refinishing hardwood floors, painting, new kitchen floor, and a few odds and ends. The entire crew is amazing to work with! Looking forward to working with them in the near future! I could not be more pleased. KT called me each morning to give me a rundown on that days’ work and the arrival time for the crew. They were always on time. Unlike previous contractors I’ve used, “good enough” was not good enough . They crew were meticulous in their work and their cleanup. We are using Genesis for everything going forward.

We contracted Genesis to finally fix our badly dilapidated rooftop deck and parapet wall. KT and all of the various crews we needed for this project were nothing short of amazing! We live in a historic neighborhood, so there was a ton of specific details that they had to pay attention to and they had all of it. Not only were we pleased with the work, but we have had multiple neighbors stop us on the street and talk about how great it looks and how well they did putting everything back together so that it looks how it should. We will definitely be hiring Genesis in the future!

Genesis was unbelievably helpful, friendly, and professional. They answered all my questions and walked me through everything involving my project. I ended up going with another company, but only based on a relationship I had with them. I will consider genesis for future projects!

I had a very positive experience! I needed work done on our property before Christmas and I scheduled my consultation/estimate 12/8. The work started 12/13 and was completed 12/18 (ahead of schedule) and not a single notch of quality was lost. We had the majority of our trim installed, caulked, and painted, interior doors installed, kitchen cabinet handles installed, and a ton of other little things. Previously our trim was just installed (and dirty) so the paint and caulk made a huge difference. We had a lot of small projects that added up to multiple days of work and we supplied the majority of materials ourselves, which Genesis had no problem with. They really worked with my vision and let me know which options would be more expensive so I could pick. The ENTIRE company has unbelievable customer service and responsiveness. Of course quality work will cost money but it didn’t seem more expensive than other contractors in the area. Highly recommend.

I have used Genesis Contracting do work on my property more than once - carpeting, painting and other home improvements. On all occasions, their quality of work was impeccable. Work was done on time and they were flexible in order to meet my requirements. Additionally their pricing was fair. The leadership is very hands on and was very responsive to my concerns. I would strongly recommend Genesis Contracting for any home improvement work.

KT’s Team greatly improved our residence via addressing a bathtub overflowing into the dining room below to basement below that. Once the repairs were complete the house was better than before. Highly recommend KT as a point of contact to commiserate with over options on sight. Quick thinker on his feet, kind, soft-spoken and polite.

Working with Genesis Contracting was a great experience! From KT, the project manager to the guys working in our home, they all treated our home, the project and our time as a priority. Everything was explained thoroughly every step of the way. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. It's hard to find contractors that you trust and even harder to build a lasting relationship with. This company has earned both from us. They totally gutted out main bathroom and helped with options from paint to flooring to the sink. We also had them replace the floor boards and the railings on our deck. This company does it all and we are thankful to have found them. KT, you were a complete treasure during all of this. You have our business for the next project!

Really respectful people. I was in a pinch with my bathroom falling apart and KT and his crew came through quickly. Have two small kids and needed my bath back together quickly, they took really good care of us and got the shower back together for us in under a week, with tear out, tiling and all. Would recommend.

Genesis did an amazing job on replacing my front porch. They’re honest, prompt, professional, skilled, and do excellent work. I will be working with them on any future projects.

We used Genesis Contracting for three projects at our home. The removal of the top of our gazebo, a front porch update, and basement windows. Micheal is amazing! He came out and listened to what we wanted and didn’t want, which was amazing! Every project went smoothly. Michael was very thorough he would call each day letting us know what time the crew would be arriving and explaining what would be completed that day. Nothing was done without our input/approval. If we had any questions they were answered immediately and thoroughly. A big shout-out to Rocky and Lewis !!, They were prompt and polite arriving each day to work hard. The quality of their craftsmanship is excellent. They went out of their way to make sure their work was perfect and just what we wanted when, done the work area was cleaned up daily. Thanks for improving our home. We are working on the design of our kitchen update for the next project with Genesis.

Genesis was great to work with. They came out the day I called them to take a look at the property and put together a few estimates for some steps off my back porch. They put me on the schedule immediately and came out 2 weeks later and knocked it out in a day. Crew was hard-working, professional and they did an awesome job. Highly recommend!
