We had a great experience working with YC Electric. They came out to our house to discuss everything we wanted and they provided really helpful suggestions. Once we booked the job they were timely, professional, and did excellent work. Everything was completed efficiently and to a high standard. We would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them!

We're very impressed with the speed, flexibility and professionalism from YC Electric. Our gas water heater decided that it was done with us and suddenly began leaking water all over our basement. We're opting to replace it with a hybrid model, so we needed a new circuit and wiring installed between our electrical panel and the heater location. YC was able to rework their schedule to accommodate the urgency of our situation, which is greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend YC Electric.

A great experience. Excellent communication with quick response times; work was scheduled to be done in a timely fashion; showed up on time with all necessary tools and parts; courteous and professional; explained work and how it was to be completed; knew how to work with existing wiring in an old house; thoroughly checked completed work and cleaned up any mess; minimized holes in walls for fishing wire that were easily repaired; respectful of property. Second time we used YC Electric for our 98 year old house. They are our go to electricians.

The team that did the work was professional, very skilled and efficient. It was a difficult project and the team preformed exceptionally well in a timely manner. We were impressed from the time they arrived thru the work and the final cleanup. Definitely will use YC again.

This is not the first time we have had work done by YC Electric, they are consistently great to work with! They are always on time and do very good work at a reasonable price! We had them install recessed lighting and a new dining room light. We love it! Only wish we had done it sooner!!

Yi did an absolutely superb job installing the wired ring doorbell in a really tricky place. I have wanted this doorbell for a while, but couldn't find an electrician I could trust to get the job done without destroying the outside of my front entrance. Yi was honest with what it would take to get it done and also stayed until the setup was complete making sure everything worked perfectly.

He was able to install it with no exterior damage so I don't have to deal with the HOA getting all up in my business.

Excellent and efficient service by super professional workers. After a Verizon tech started an electrical fire at our house and fried our breaker box (among other things), YC Electric came in and saved the day. They worked with Pepco to get our power restored within about four days of starting the job. (Initially, Pepco estimated it would take 10 business days!)

We will be going back to them for all our future electrical needs.

They are pros for your circuit tracing woes. The previous homeowners left a maze of three way travelers and open neutrals but YC was able to solve my problems. They do good work at a fair price. And when they leave the cover screws perfectly vertical, you know you have a good Electrician

We have used YC Electric a number of times. The quality of their work is amazing and so is communication from the company. And their pricing is very fair.

One thing that makes them stand out is that they are super honest. More than once I’ve had them suggest I take a different route than using them because it was more cost efficient for me. Most companies would happily take your money even if you didn’t need them. Not these guys. Highly recommend!

Yi did a fantastic job installing my home charging station. Before any work was done, he spent time reviewing various install options and worked with me to ensure install location would be a good fit. Highly recommend and will definitely be contacting them again if I need any work done.

Great experience with YC electric. They were contracted to run extension cords for lighting up our I-beams and across out 18' joists. Unlike most contractors, they showed up on time, were professional, finished on schedule, and completed their work in a quality manner. Found our go-to electrician!!

We had ethernet cables run and installed in our home. This is our second project with YC Electric, the previous project being some ceiling fan installations and other work.

The owner provided a transparent estimate responsive to our needs. Professional and courteous people did the work, and, when they encountered challenges, they clearly communicated thoughtful alternatives tailored to our priorities. The care they took to minimize our need to repair drywall and paint through intelligent problem-solving was nothing short of astonishing.

We needed an outlet for our EV car to charge and learned that it would not be as easy as we initially thought it would be. YC Electric came to give us an estimate and detailed explanation of what and how they would be able to get this project done for us. We went with their recommendation of running a cable around the front of the house because our panel was located far away from the desired location. On the project day their electricians came and dug the trench and ran the cord around the perimeter with protection around it as well, lastly secured the outlet to our brick wall on the driveway. Throughout the whole process there was constant communication and professionalism. Highly recommended this company and Yi and will definitely keep their contact information for any future projects. Chuck installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for charging an electric vehicle. He answered all my questions promptly and scheduled the installation to fit my busy schedule. Zero complaints regarding the whole process from start to finish.

I left message, he returned my call same day, told him the problem & he came that afternoon He check what needed to be repaired and installed, let me know the cost & finished the work in a very reasonable amount of time; showed me what was done & out the door.
