Reid did a great job, even though the dishwasher wasn't fixable, he was fair and honest. He made 3 trips with parts and in the end, only charged the service call fee. I would definitely recommend them.

John came and diagnosed the issue with the washer. He had to order a part which took several days. He found he needed a different tool which he didn’t have so it took a couple days more (I don’t blame them for this but the design of the washing machine). It worked beautifully.
After this, I had others doing the laundry for family medical reasons. They said it wasn’t working right again. John came out, free of charge, and examined the washer again and we found it was most likely user error (unbalanced load or incorrect water level, etc.).
I used to use Sears for many years but will always call Raker for my appliance repair needs from now on. Great experience!

Now let me start by saying I am a very skeptical person when it comes to having to trust other people and/or other companies to perform services for me that I could not otherwise do myself. I spent an hour or two looking around online and the only company that stood out was Raker Appliance Co. When I look for outside help, the main thing I look for is fairness, integrity, honesty, and understanding: this company as all that and more! Reid was prompt and very attentive in helping me out with the problems I was experiencing with my LG dishwasher and rather than having to replace an expensive quality dishwasher($1200+) with a less expensive brand and model, Reid figured out the problem and worked his magic. Now on this day he fixed the one issue and is coming back to finish the job in a few days. So even though having my LG dishwasher fixed rather then replace didn't save me much money(saved me $170): it still saved me some nonetheless. All things need maintenance servicing to stay in tip top shape because I mean you don't go out and buy a brand new car every time your having issues with yours or end a relationship because of one fight and the comparison list goes on: all things in life require TLC in order to remain in great operational condition. So in short always go with Raker Appliance and I have nothing but great things to say about Reid, his father and their company. They are respectful, friendly and honest people who are more then competent in their craft!

Reed was very pleasant and very professional. Since I work during the day, Reed was able to meet me at my house outside of normal business hours. My dishwasher is up and running again. Will definitely use Raker Appliance Co. again in the future. Highly recommend.

always the way, the refrigerator had a problem on a holiday weekend, at least the freezer was working. On Tuesday , I did a search in my area and found Raker Appliance . Reid returned my call and we discussed the problem and early Wednesday I was up and running, I thought the price was very fair and found Reid to be friendly , polite and knowledgeable kind of guy. I called Raker Appliance to look at my washer. Mr. Reid Raker came to my house, pulled the back touch panel off the washer, dropped a multi-meter on it, and determined it was bad and quoted me $460 ($120 service fee / $340 part) for the repair. Fair enough, he was having the part shipped to my house, so I told him he did not have to come back and that I could just install it, but he insisted he had to do it. So, the part came in on a day my wife and I had to be onsite at work, so we asked my mother to come over to receive him at the houses and pay him. He came to the house, snapped the new panel in place and was finished in 15-minutes. Then proceeded to charge my card $580 (my mother had no clue what the cost should be), adding an additional $120 service fee to come back to the house to plug in the new part. When I called him on it, he said $460 was only an estimate, but how is a $120 service fee and a flat rate $340 part an estimate and not a quote? He finally admitted that did not tell me there was an additional fee to return, but refuses to return my $120. So, beware and get EVERYTHING in writing before you commit to any repairs, because verbal agreements mean nothing today, especially to those who hide behind mantras such as “superior honesty and professionalism” like Raker Appliance.

I called about my washer being broken. They called back quickly and came out the next day. Mr. Raker was so kind and efficient. Very honest and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!

When I called about my broken clothes washer, Reid Raker answered the phone himself and gave me a time for that afternoon. He called again to let me know he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem right away and set to work. In less than one hour, my machine was fixed and he attached the new hoses I was going to put on myself. The price was quite reasonable. I would definitely call again if I have another appliance issue.

I submitted an online request this morning after my dryer seemed to be having a problem. Reid called me right away and came out to my house this afternoon. He fixed the issue quickly and was very professional. I really appreciate the quality service and will definitely call again if I have any other appliance issues.

Excellent work by John replacing the thermal fuse on our Speed Queen Dryer. I spoke to him yesterday and he arrived today when he said he would. He had the part he needed and replaced it in a timely manner. He also climbed under our back porch to check / clean out the dryer vent. Charges were very reasonable. Reid helped out and is awesome. The quality of expertise and knowledge is amazing. Fair cost, and superior labor. If any of our appliances break in the future they'll be the first people we call. I will be recommending them to all of our friends and family.

Before you decide to give up on an appliance, reach out to these guys. Odds are they can fix it cheaper then spending significantly more on a new appliance.

I contacted Reid Raker in the morning about my failed dishwasher and Nick the technician arrived within 90 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. Professional, efficient and effective, fair price, and rapid service. I am a happy customer and I will call them again.

Wonderful service. We had another company come to look at our dryer - it took them 2 weeks to "fix" the dryer and we were left with more problems than we had originally. The company was unreliable and difficult to communicate with. We did not want to work with them again to fix the problems that had arrived. We called Raker and they were able to stop out next day. They were able to completely repair the whole washer/dryer within 3 days. They were very responsive through both calling and texting. They were upfront and clear with everything that was going on and their prices were reasonable. We were not even charge for the first visit. It seemed like we were their first priority, even though I'm sure they had many other clients. We would definitely recommend them and will continue to use their services!!
