Leo was great, very respectful and helpful, showed up exactly when he said he would and diagnosed the problem quickly. I would absolutely have recommended and used this service again. He sent me an estimate for the repairs VERY quickly, which I appreciated. However, the follow up communications were way too frequent and insistent. Within a few hours of sending the estimate, I received a follow-up call asking if I'd decided how to move forward yet (I hadn't), saying that he wanted to close out the case. When I declined moving forward with repairs and asked him to invoice me for the service charge, he texted and emailed me the invoice immediately, which was helpful. However, in addition to the texted and emailed invoice, I received 2 text reminders, 1 email reminder, and one follow up phone call within 36 hours, urging me to pay the invoice so that they could close out the case. All of this was within 48 hours of his initial visit. The incessant follow-up communications mean I won't use this service again.

I would highly recommend Leo LNU, the TruFix Appliance Repair & Services owner. My 4-month old KitchenAid refrigerator had developed an unusual noise. After I had paid for multiple misdiagnoses by alleged appliance repair technicians, I was ready to get rid of the refrigerator and look for a new one. My wife, however, took the time, identified Tru Fix, and then contacted Leo. Once on the scene, Leo examined the refrigerator for a short time, correctly identified the cause of the refrigerator noise, and fixed it. This is the sequence you want when you have a problem with a large appliance.

Leo came out the next day to replace the drum rollers and idler pulley on our Whirlpool dryer. He was polite, pleasant and work was clean and efficient.

The service man came out quickly within an hour, Best Buy was 3 weeks. He was knowledgeable, helpful, reasonably priced, and overall incredible to work with. He had the necessary part on his truck to fix our washer, and even came back the next day to take apart our dryer. He was neat, and went above and beyond to ensure my family was safe by cleaning out the extra lint on my dryer’s heating element- and he did all necessary maintenance. As of today, Leo is my go-to appliance repairman! I have a Capital Culinarian oven that I thought needed a new striker installed since it took a long time to light. Leo was great with communication throughout, and took the time to determine and locate possible parts to reduce the risk of repeat visits. He even moved me up 2 days in the schedule when he had an unexpected opening, and showed up at the early part of the time window he gave. He was done in an hour and the oven lights perfectly.

There was a gap of a few days when I thought he had forgotten about me, but it turned out his estimate never hit my email and he had to resend it. That's a problem I can take in stride, unlike with a different company that kept promising they would have a tech contact me every time I called but never did. Leo did call/text back, every time and was always pleasant and polite. Thanks, Leo!

Leo was great! He was very responsive and prompt. He wasn’t able to repair our washer but he was honest and provided a refund for the repairs that did not work. We will definitely use his services again for future repair needs.

On Sunday night, July 14, 2024, I put soap and laundry in the washer, but I did not hear the washing machine start its cycle. The washer was almost full but stopped filling with water. After checking the circuit breaker, I went back to the washer. The lid latch was broken and almost fell into the washer. I have a stackable washer and dryer unit.

The next morning, July 15, 2024, I called TruFix Appliance Repair and spoke with Leo. He arrived the same day and diagnosed the problem. Yes, the lid latch was the problem. If the lid latch is broken, the washing machine will not continue its washing cycle. Leo went to get a new lid latch, returned and installed it. I washed 2 loads of clothes that afternoon.

Tried to book them for a Thursday 5-7 pm three days ago to repair my dryer called me day of service that they had no technicians available in my area to repair the dryer. You’d think they’d know how many technicians they had available for the area before confirming the appointment, but nah. Waste of time and effort. Do not book with them.

Recently just moved into a house that has all gas appliances. Coming from my previous home that was all electric appliances; gas appliances are a little worrisome to me.I had a few concerns about the dryer machine and stove top and just wanted to get them looked at. Leo was able to come after a few hours that I placed the call. Leo took a look at all of my concerns, gave me a diagnosis of the issues and was very open in answering all of my questions. Our dryer broke on Saturday Night and Leo came out on Monday afternoon to fix it (he is closed on Sundays). We were able to schedule an appointment online and talk to him the morning of. My daughter had Leo come out and fix her washing machine several months ago. Today, I had Leo come out and fix my washing machine. I called him yesterday (a Sunday afternoon) and he came out and diagnosed the problem and fixed it shortly. I am very grateful for his efficiency and knowledge and the cost was very reasonable.
