We have used My Carpet Cleaning Service several times for carpet cleaning and have always been pleased with the professional and prompt service, as well as the nicely cleaned carpets.
On our most recent experience, I asked Rich if he could come asap to clean several badly soiled sofas. He actually came that afternoon (happened to be in the area) and worked hard for several hours to get the best results possible.
While there were some stains on one of the sofas that were impossible to remove, I was pleased with the results and wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

Rich from My Carpet Cleaning Service was great! We discussed several different services and Rich was great about advising me on what I should or should not get done. He didn't sell me on services I didn't need, he even talked me out of some services because he said I really didn't need to do it. He saved me money! I had my kitchen floor, bathroom floors and basement carpet cleaned. In the end everything looked amazing! I especially liked watching them clean the carpet because you could instantly see the change. Amazing, reliable work!

Rich was on time, thorough, thoughtful of environmental and pet-safe products and efficient. The carpets looked years younger when he finished and he removed some spots I thought would be there forever. He also has great expertise about carpet repairs and has someone on staff to handle that issue as well.

Rich cleaned several wool and silk oriental rugs for us in July 2017 as well as carpet. The work was done professionally and thoroughly. He and his staff know exactly what to do and how to treat customers. The rugs and carpet look great; the colors are brighter, plus he was able to eliminate the dog smell, which was outstanding. We also purchased two rug pads from them. So glad we found My Carpet Cleaning Service. Can't recommend them highly enough for their high quality work and excellent customer service.

Rich is great! The best carpet cleaning I have ever had, time and again. And the very best service I could ever hope for. And his fees are very fair and reasonable. Rich is always quick to respond, and happy to meet my short notice requests to rescue some carpet disaster from one of my tenants. I really appreciate how very knowledgeable he is and what an excellent job he always does. He has given me great advice in a number of areas of how to maintain my home. I would never go anywhere else - and hope he stays in business for a very long time!

Rich was awesome! Very professional and friendly. He took our 20+ Berber carpet and made it look almost new again. We had a huge turkey dripping stain from an energetic pup that had been there for months. Rich worked his magic and we don’t even see it even after it has dried for a few days. Better than expected. He also did our inside carpeted steps and got almost every stain out. We were ready to rip the carpets out, but due to COVID put the project on hold. With the holidays fast approaching we thought let’s clean to get through the holidays. We are so happy we did! Now things are refreshed and we are very happy with the results. Rich was very professional and friendly and he truly likes to make customers happy. We would use him again and recommend him highly!

This is an outstanding company, providing fast, responsive and extremely professional service. We needed a fast response because furniture was scheduled to go back into the room. Rich responded and got the job done superbly. Not only was he there when we needed him, the carpet never looked so good. And of course while he was at the house he did two more floors of carpeted rooms and carpeted stairs. I couldn’t believe how much dirt came off what looked like mildly soiled/normal carpets. And he removed stains that I believed were permanent. The carpets look virtually new, and they are all over 20 years old. He is pleasant, personable, friendly, cooperative and hard-working. I can’t say enough good about his services.

I worked directly with Rich. From the original estimate through completion of work, MCC was honest, fair in price, responsive in communication. Knowledge was expert level, equipment was clearly highly high grade and they took pride in their work. its refreshing to come across this level of service. I will use them again for sure!

First off I found this company from searching Google for carpet cleaning services. I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a shot. I left a message for Rich and he called me back promptly. I explained what I was looking for and what my issue was. He set up an appointment to come check out the project.

The estimate was very reasonable! A few weeks later Rich and his associate came back out to do the job. We had very old carpet that had filtration lines that were very difficult to remove. Rich worked his magic and did a wonderful job. He even removed paint stains that were 10 years old!! I highly recommend Rich! Don't waste your time or money on the commercial chains. I won't hesitate to go back for services and neither should you!

I recently hired My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Services (MCC) to clean my carpets for "move out" services. I lived at my townhouse with a child, dog, and 2 cats. So these carpets needed a good cleaning before new tenants moved in. Prior to the cleaning, there were definitely visable spots of pet accidents in some areas of the carpet. Once the cleaning was completed and I inspected those spots again, it literally was gone. I was also quite impressed with how knowledgeable Rich was about the type of resident I lived in, how large the rooms could be based on past experience with my neighborhood, and even how possible stairs might need to be clean to give me a completely accurate estimate during my research phase. Rich also gave me different options for helping me keep my cost low for service and was very candid and upfront about what to expect before service start. I would recommend MCC to anyone needing a top-notch carpet cleaning service, and will certainly call on Rich again for my service needs.

We have used them on a couple of occasions—once when a pipe burst and flooded our finished basement and once to clean carpets and furniture. Both times they arrived when promised, explained clearly what they could and couldn’t do to fix the situation, performed as promised and on time, and left us fully satisfied and happy. I consider their work wonderful, and would definitely hire them again if I needed their help.

I have used My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Service twice as a result of water leaks in my basement. Both times, Rich and his team removed the water, dried out the walls, tested for mold, replaced the carpet and pad when necessary, repaired and painted the walls when necessary, and made the basement look like it did before the water damage. Rich explained what my options were, how much time they would need, and helped me throughout the process. They were professional and honest. Communication was excellent. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

The best carpet cleaning service I ever used. At my request, Rich changed the schedule to come to clean my carpet earlier to accommodate my needs. He was punctual, professional, detailed. and wonderful to work with. He got the age-old stains out of my carpet and the cleaned carpet looks fantastic. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Rich was very responsive, accommodated my very tight schedule and he was able to remove pet stains that a prior steam cleaner couldn't get out. His work ethic is truly amazing. For example, I asked if he did power washing. He told me yes, he could, but he doesn't do it often, and I would be better hiring someone who does that regularly and recommended another person for me, including sending their contact info. I trust those who not only are good at what they do, but know what they don't do as well. That is the sign of a true professional. Thank you Rich for taking such great care of our carpets.

As first-time homeowners, we wanted clean the carpets from the previous occupants before we moved in. Rich (in Laurel, MD) helped walk us through the process and was flexible around our schedule since we were living out of state. For anyone inexperienced in carpet cleaning (like I was), make sure you document any dark marks or discoloration in the carpets, particularly on the edges/corners of the room. Due to the additional cleaning necessary, it can increase the price, and it’s easier to get an accurate quote if you provide that information up front. Thankfully, Rich clarified pricing once noticed, showed us some small areas where we could use extra cleaning, and recommended places where we probably didn’t need to spend more money on (like closet edges that will be covered by furniture). We also got a discount since the house didn’t have furniture in it yet, so the total cost was still lower than other competing quotes. He also provided some helpful tips for us as new homeowners. It was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I’m so glad we got it done before moving in. The house was fine before, but now that the carpets look (and smell) so much better, it really feels like a new house.

Rich runs a great carpet business. I called and he sent a crew in less than 24hrs. I had family coming to visit and was desperate. He understood the calling and took care of us. I highly recommend this personable, professional, and reliable company. We look forward to using them again. Our carpets look brand new.
