I have had Rich clean my carpets for five years. He has removed old and new pet stains excellently. He listens to what you need and gets in done quickly and at a reasonable price. He truly cares about customer service. I highly recommend his service.

Rich was a true professional from the walk through and estimate to performing the carpet cleaning. He explained the process and is very reasonably priced. He cleaned the carpet of a 3 story townhome. The carpet had not been cleaned for many years. The carpet looks like new after the cleaning. It took approximately 4 hours to complete the job. I would highly recommend Rich for all your carpet needs.
He also referred me to a contractor that was able to fix a roll in the carpet prior to cleaning.

Burst pipe and flooded basement? Who ya gonna call? You cannot do better than to call My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Service: proprietor Rich Gakaivian and his helpers (Ahmet and Ahmet) arrived quickly when that unfortunate situation occurred at our home near Aspen Hill, MD hon 1/24/26 and provided superb immediate mitigation, staying until the 3” of accumulated water was fully pumped out, setting up a dehumidifier fully dry the unfinished basemen t’s cement floor. sweeping The next day’s area-wide immobilizing snow and ice storm and delayed plowing left our street impassable for a couple of days, but as soon as conditions allowed the crew returned to sweep the dried floor and complete haulaway of the many large contractor bags of unsalvageable debris. Today Ahmet and Ahmet returned to complete the restoration phase by installing new insulation in place of that which had been drenched by the water pouring from the burst pipe. Throughout the process, including during the weather-driven delay, Rich maintained regular communication re conditions at his end and anticipated timing for finishing the job, effectively eliminating any frustrations attending the unavoidable delays. All in all, My Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Service has been a great company to work with—friendly, competent, honest, and reasonably priced … who could ask for more? I cannot heap enough praise on this company. Definitely 5 stars out of 5.

Bonus: While unrelated to the original contracted mitigation/restoration service, after finishing Ahmet offered while here to repair a shaky door that has been a problem we’ve just put up with for some years at a very reasonable price. We jumped on that, and now done and done. So make that 6 stars out of 5!

We had a significant staining and odor problem on one area of carpet in our Rockville condo, and found My Carpet Cleaning on Angi. They were quick to respond and sent someone the next day. Because the affected hall area was small, they cleaned carpet in the hall and surrounding rooms to make it worth the minimum charge of $300 plus $100 fee for bringing portable equipment to the apartment (several trips).
The service provider was courteous and efficient. I plan to use MCC again to repair a vinyl flooring issue.

I have had Rich clean my carpets for many years now - he is great! He is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to share his knowledge. Rich is also extremely thorough! There is a method to his madness, and it is excellent. The prep work alone is very detail oriented, which I appreciate as a homeowner. He cares for my home like it is his home. Rich is extremely friendly and honest and performs high-quality services as well! I gave him a call after seeing other positive reviews and he was able to swing by my house soon after to give me a quote and explain to me his process and recommendations. We scheduled the carpet cleaning for the next week and he arrived when he said he would and performed the services as he explained. The carpet looked, felt, and smelled clean and fresh! I will certainly be using his carpet cleaning services again and likely here soon at a different property.

Edit 8/8/25: I had Rich come by a second property for another carpet cleaning and the services he rendered were just as professional as the first time. He takes great care in protecting your home and belongings while conducting his work. I don’t have anything else to say except that I highly recommend Rich for your carpet cleaning needs.

We use my carpet cleaning To clean the carpets at our newly purchased condo. Rich and Ahmed did such a good job cleaning the carpets back to new looking, we had them clean the carpets at our home is at our house as well. We weren’t certain we could get the carpets looking fresh deal and thought that we needed to replace them, but my carpet cleaning was able to bring them back to very close to New. It saved us a few thousand dollars in flooring Replacement clock cost. I’ve posted pictures of how the carpets look now at our House. I highly recommend their services.

Rich did a fantastic job! He provided a detailed estimate for cleaning our carpets, area rugs, and furniture and visited our home before doing the estimate. Nothing had been professionally cleaned in 12+ years. They look great! The smells are gone and so is the dirt. He worked within our schedule as we had furniture being delivered in one room. He didn't invoice until the work was completed and the items dried.
