This is a very professional operation-the beautiful result is a piece of art. It’s a total rework and a long term fix for our yard. Knowing what something will look like in 5 years takes both experience and knowledge. Mark Willcher has both.

Mark is a incredible landscape architect whose team executes meticulously. He is also a very good problem solver, who fixed a drainage issue we once had with a clever design of a portico. We have worked with him for more than 30 years. I highly recommend him.

Over several weeks Mark and his team have transformed our yard, replacing old and unproductive growth by new trees and shrubs, and at our request creating a new hardscape. He has kept in close touch with us throughout the process; he listens to our needs and concerns, and responds to us in-person and through email and text messages. Our neighbors have commented to us about the improvements that they are seeing. Mark Willcher Design & Build is efficiently run and we are pleased to recommend their services.

First landscaper eventually showed up and did a decent job mowing but did not do the edging as promised. He then cancelled the second appointment after which LawnStarter said they would find a second landscaper. Then, I was charged $45 for mowing/edging but no one showed. Two weeks later, three missed appointments and several messages back/forth with Brandon Hill (the landscaper) and my lawn is overgrown.

This was my first time using lawn services and I must say LawnStarter did an amazing job.

Unreliable service. My first crew didn’t show up unless I personally messaged them, even though they were scheduled, and eventually disappeared altogether. I reached out to customer support and 4 days later (their average response time) they found a new crew to service my yard, but the new crew didn’t show up either, claiming they couldn’t find parking. Hiring this company was a bigger headache than doing our own yard work.
