Have used Potomac River Arborists for three years to maintain our trees. Always a good experience (Julie is very responsive) and fairly priced.

We had a fantastic tree-trimming experience with Potomac River Arborists. From the price quote through the scheduling process to the actual work getting done, they were responsive, professional, and they treated our tree and our property with the love and care we expected. Their price wasn't the lowest we were quoted, but it was reasonable and fair, and we are thoroughly satisfied with their work. We will definitely hire them again to do other tree work. Highly recommend.

I recommend Potomac River Arborists. We had a large limb come down from an evening storm. They we're able to come by the same night to provide a proposal, and arrived the next morning to clean it up. Professional service and good communication.

Really great experience tree-trimming and shaping with Potomac River Arborists. We had a very over grown Elm tree that needed significant cutting. Julie/Tom were very responsive & professional from scheduling a price quote to completing the service. They arrived on time and completed the work very fast and safely. They also checked in regularly for feedback. We are really happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone. It is a great family-run business to support.

I have had Potomac Arborists do maintenance work on my large trees 2 times. They did a good job and prices were reasonable (or better). Both times they did some extra small work for free. The owners (brothers who are very knowledgeable) came out first to see what I wanted done (removing a large dead branch, cutting back a lot of branches that hung over my roof (and homeowner's policy said had to trimmed), taking out a dead tree stump, chopping up a tree into firewood that another contractor left in the yard), taking out a large invasive honeysuckle. Their workers definitely love their work. I highly recommend them.

I have worked with a few different “tree experts” over the past several years to deal with big trees on my property. My recent experience with Potomac River Arborists was the best. Tom and the rest of the crew arrived when they were supposed to, were well-equipped and knew what they were doing to get the job done quickly, and they did a great job tending to my storm-damaged tree. The cost was reasonable and clearly negotiated up front. I expect to be calling them again the next time I need work done on my trees.

An absolutely miraculous experience watching Potomac River Arborists take down a massive oak. They are fabulous! From start to finish their work is impeccable. Since then, they have brought our failing willow tree back to life and are now curing our beautiful hawthorn trees of a persistent fungal disease. They are experts in everything arbor.

Potomac River Arborists took care of raising the canopy on this monster tree, and trimming back a bunch of other unruly trees that had gotten out of control. Their prices were very competitive and their arborists very knowledgeble. I felt confident that their work would bring the results I wanted while preserving the welfare of my trees. The team was on time, professional, and they took great care to cleanup and leave my yard spotless. I highly recommend this veteran-run, family owned business.

We were so happy to find Potomac River Arborists. They have expert arborists who came to examine our beloved and quite large oak tree. Gratefully, they were able to give it a thorough trim so that we could see it remain for some years to come. The tree holds a place in our hearts and is an important habitat in our neighborhood for so many birds and squirrels. My own stepdad was an arborist much of his life, and he would be proud to see this tree grow on! Thank you to the team!

Potomac River Arborists is a fantastic tree service. They are very knowledgeable, responsive, reliable, and respectful to customers. I had two large trees that needed to be removed. It took them about a week to remove. The onsite team performed the job very efficiently. They answered my questions, didn’t talk down to me. The workers performed the job neatly, kept me informed about the process and next steps. This small business is family owned and operated. I was highly satisfied with their service and happy to support them.

A great company and excellent work

These guys do everything and do it well. We had them finish our attic, repoint our house, paint, do landscaping. They are more expensive now that they are established, but still a very good value.

The Bonillas are a favorite in my neighborhood. After my father's death, I had my house totally renovated. I gave the Bonillas free reign to do what they wanted but I picked out the colors. My home was so beautiful that I could hardly believe my eyes. Then I had Miquel make raised beds, a meditation center in the back yard and a corral for the trash cans. He even made stairs up the hill to the water outlet. My husband retired from the trades and he said the price presented was exactly correct. He even told me to the penny what they would charge me so they were not overcharging. Undercharging would mean cheap products.

I have relied on Bonilla construction for more than a decade for everything from major remissions to small homes tasks and they always do an excellent job! In addition to their great work, they are easy to work with. They communicate well, discuss all options, and keep you updated on their progress. I highly recommend working with this family- owned business.
