The Outdoor Advantage team did an awesome job on yard. The bed cuts look great and the mulch was perfectly laid. The also did an awesome job on removing the pesky wood trees! It’s hard to believe all the weeds are gone in the beds and our stone patio.

My husband contacted this company (against my better judgment) for an estimate to replace our pavilion that was destroyed by the August 7, 2023 storm. Here's the email conversation after the (owner) Dave came by. He asked for a photo of a pavilion that peaked my interest.

So we are on the same page, This is nothing like what was there. This is a $50k plus structure.  What was there was under $6-7k all in.

I don’t mind pricing it but for insurance purposes I cannot commit fraud by saying this was apples to apples. Make sense?

Dave, it sounds like you're getting too involved with my business. The only thing is asked of you is a quote for the image (as you did not produce a portfolio of your own). What my insurance will cover and what I'm personally contributing is entirely between my insurance company and myself. You have all right to withdraw your services, as there are plenty of other companies to choose from, but to imply that I am asking you to commit fraud is totally unprofessional as an estimate for a new pavilion is all that is requested. Per your rude disposition and horrid customer service, I am withdrawing my request for an estimate. I will be attaching this email in its entirety to your reviews sir.

* After 30 years of marriage, I have never given in to my husband's efforts on dealing with my garden. He has been begging for my forgiveness since this horrible experience. Steer clear of this company unless you truly need to let out some steam, because you will !! KEEP SEARCHING GOOGLE BUT BYPASS THIS ONE... hey, you can't say you weren't told.

These guys are great! They put in a drainage system in my backyard that solved an enormous water retention problem and basement flooding. Both issues completely resolved and my years-long headache is over. It was a $10K+ job and well worth the money. Also, they're very responsive and committed to client satisfaction. The initial installation of one of the drain boxes didn't fully resolve the ponding in one section of the backyard, so they came back out to re-position the box and now there's no water collection at all. Even after the heaviest of rains. I highly recommend The Outdoor Advantage!

From the owner of the company through the site manager and work crew to the office staff - everyone is professional, skilled, and friendly. I had a variety of projects needed at my older home that TOA not only completed, but did so beyond expectations. For this I am thankful.

We hired Outdoor Advantage to replace the landcaping in front of our townhome, including 5-10 bushes and replacement mulch. Phil was great. He was the first to respond, was proactive in securing the right information to provide a realistic quote, and was highly professional and responsive throughout the entire process. Plus, the work turned out great!

Our first job was completed yesterday, in what we hope to be a staged total landscape program this year. We hired The Outdoor Advantage to perform fall yard work & leaf removal. They did an outstanding job! All of our leaves were neatly removed. They also picked up branches & trimmed all of the dead growth from the flower beds. Definitely recommend them 😀

A friend and I moved into our new property this summer. After being semi-mugged into having the lawn mowed (twice), we decided to get the pros in. Found The Outdoor Advantage on Angie's List. Within days, Dave came out and helped me understand what was needed. Two men came by yesterday to mow and fertilize the lawn. It was done within an hour. Very happy with the service!

I had underground drain pipes with pop ups installed that connected to my gutters and downspouts. Five years later, another crew is now at my home correcting a separate drainage issue that I've been having. The new company had to dig in a few areas where underground drainage pipes were installed, including where they connected my sump pump to an underground pipe.

Lo and behold, NONE of those pipes they encountered were glued together! They literally disconnected the sump pump by hand, pulling baby roots out of the pipe. The four inch pipes on the other side of my home just came out of the ground with no problem either, disconnected by a slight tug. I have very large trees on my property, so gluing together the pipes should have been done to prevent root infiltration. I don't think I should have to stand over professionals to ensure that a job is done correctly, but it seems this is the case. Very disappointing, and I'm lucky to have not had any major issues from this.

The Outdoor Advantage was prompt, efficient, personable, and bundled all the work together into a fair price. They didn’t completely clean up and end the job until we were 100% satisfied. We will absolutely use them again!

Dave and his crew did a fantastic job creating my patio. They worked within my budget, did great work, and followed up afterward. The crew was hardworking, respectful, and professional. I couldn’t recommend them more highly. Love my new patio!

The Outdoor Advantage has been working with us for a number of years - doing power-washing. The crew is professional, the pricing good and the service outstanding! Even when I call at the "last minute" they always manage to "fit us in" . Hence, our continuing relationship! I recommend them with no reservations. You won't be disappointed!

Phil and his team did a great job and had great suggestions to how to accomplish what I was looking to do. They took all my downspouts below ground, combined them together including my sump pump and installed pop up emitters. Overall, it is a much better solution than the previous plastic flex pipes that discharged directly on my lawn. Also regraded a few poor drainage areas of the yard. I thought the pricing was reasonable and would hire them again.

First let me begin by saying I shopped around about a month before I came across Dave and his crew at The Outdoor Advantage. Also I had already been burnt by another company I used before I hired The Outdoor Advantage, but that's a whole other story. From the VERY beginning I 100% knew I had the right person to do this job, because of the way Dave handle the process the very first day I came in contact with him. He was a real professional from doing to estimate up until the final moment the job was complete. He answered every question I had (and I had a ton of them) clearly and with an explanation whether I texted him or called him promptly. He kept me up to date with pictures all the way though the project right up till the job was 100% complete and made absolutely sure I was completely satisfied. His crew was on time polite and hardworking every step of the way. Now all this means very little to me unless the work is good, let me tell you this in all the years of being a home owner I've never had the pleasure of working with a company that cared and produced the kind of quality work these guys did, and that 1000% true! I'll say it this way it's the kind of quality work you'd do if you could do it yourself.
I could not be happier, it’s so refreshing to know there are still companies out there that care about the work they produce and do it with the utmost professionalism from start to finish. If you're looking for someone to do any of the services described on The Outdoor Advantage awesome web site STOP LOOKING and hired Dave and his crew I promise with all my heart you'll be as pleased as I am.

I hired them to refinish our deck (power wash and stain) and to rebuild a crumbling retaining wall. They exceeded my expectations. Not only was the quality of work exceptional, but they were very communicative throughout the entire process and got the work done quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, Dave (the owner) was willing to work with me on price and was always quick to respond if I had questions or wanted his input. I really can't say enough nice things about these guys. Very professional. I will hire them again in the future.

I could not be happier than I am with this company. We had a downspout issue and had lost soil near the foundation of the house. Outdoor advantage cam and filled and graded the soil near the foundation around the house and replaced the underground system from two downspouts. Two days later we had a huge rainstorm. No leak! Pop-up worked perfectly. The workers were on time and completed the job professionally (including cleaning up afterwards). More importantly, they sent around a manager to make sure the job was done correctly on the same day. He thought the pop-up could be installed at a different angle and had the crew re-work the last several feet of the job. This was a nice touch. We found their professionalism and attention to detail important and appreciated. They may not be the lowest bid you receive, but you will not find a better company to do business with.

The team that cleaned up our way overgrown driveway did an amazing job. Will definitely hire again.

Best decision ever! I met with multiple companies/contractors and felt "bummed out" after each meeting. I was so annoyed and overwhelmed that I was considering putting the project off for a while. I had one more consultation scheduled with Dave from The Outdoor Advantage and decided if this one didn't go well, we would wait. The first meeting was awesome! (And so easy!!) Dave seemed so confident, but also really listened to my ideas and concerns. The crew was professional and always on time. They even came on a couple of Saturdays to keep on schedule. My biggest pet peeve, when dealing with contractors, is lack of communication and not getting back to me quickly. That was never an issue with Dave. They turned my hideous screened porch and not so functional deck into my dream, back yard, living space. I couldn't recommend more!

I am very pleased with the services that Outdoor Advantage provided me. My project consisted of getting rid of invasive weeds, 6 trees and 5 shrubs planted, backyard seeded, dry well dug and installed and sod put down. The project had several phases and their team, specifically Phil was responsive throughout. The crew was also exceptional. I strongly recommend Outdoor Advantage.

We had a big job with lots of pieces, and Outdoor Advantage was able to schedule us quickly. They installed underground downspout drainage to prevent erosion, removed & replaced rotten timbers on a retaining wall, spread loads of mulch, and reseeded eroded lawn. The crew was professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up each day. They checked with us to make sure we were satisfied and came out again to correct a couple of things. The price was about what we expected for all the work.
