So glad I found them!! I use GreenSpring Rug Care for all of our rugs, all of which are hand knotted. We returned from a trip during which our house-sitter had been negligent and we discovered our large living room area rug absolutely soaked in urine. (Our dog is safe and sound though!) I was afraid it would have to be discarded, but GreenSpring saved it! It took SEVERAL cleanings to get the odor out, but they did not charge me extra. Their rug pads are also second to none. I’ll be using them well into the future!

These guys are amazing - they cleaned nearly 30 carpets/rugs for me. They were so efficient and nice when they picked up and delivered the rugs and the rugs are beautifully cleaned! I highly recommend them and have done so to my friends. I will use them again, for sure!

Greenspring Rugs does an awesome job of cleaning rugs. They’re flexible on drop off/pick up, responsive to phone calls, and turn the rugs around FAST. I’ve now used them a few times and the rugs always come back looking fresh with bright colors.

They don’t clean viscose fiber rugs!

Called and requested a quote for pickup and general cleaning for an ivory colored viscose fiber rug. An employee told us that they don’t clean these types of rugs, even though viscose is listed on their website as a type of rug fiber they clean. The employee stated viscose fibers bleed dye during the cleaning process and can’t be professionally cleaned properly… which is an odd statement, because I just had this rug professionally cleaned with no problems last year in California before we moved. The employee also said that it’d probably be best to just buy a new rug. I asked him why would I throw away a $1800 rug and buy a new one every year? He didn’t have an answer.

The only conclusion that can be made is that they just don’t have either the experience, knowledge, or correct chemicals to properly clean a viscose rug without degrading fibers or causing cellulose browning. It would probably make more sense to not lie to customers, but instead, be truthful and tell customers that your company isn’t familiar with these types of advance fiber rugs, which require non-water based cleaning methods.

Just a great experience all around. Easy drop off and pick up. I got a text message telling me when my rug would be ready and when we rolled it out at home, it looked great! We will definitely be a repeat customer.

My rug looks brand new. It was repaired and cleaned and I couldn’t be happier. No bad chemical smell that usually lingers after unwrapping a newly cleaned rug.
