Ankuva is an excellent contractor. They have done extensive work on my house, from installing a new deck, new windows, siding, refurbishing from the studs out a home office (lights, flooring, ceiling, etc) and my favorite, replacing three bathrooms (the tile and plumbing work were first class). The deck is a rock solid thing of beauty, nicely designed and well proportioned. I have a 90 year old brick colonial that can present challenges when it is opened up. Ankuva always found a way to deal with the surprises. Prices are competitive and worth every penny. The work is done right the first time. Highly recommend.

Reached out to a few contractor glad he was the best one to communicate. He came to look at the hard job, but understood I was on a tight deadline. He not only completed the work earlier than estimate, but did TONS of EXTRA work. He saw I needed a few other things and did them and didn’t even charge me extra. Good prices, trustworthy, professional, ensures a great end product. Will definitely recommend and already have him preparing for another project for family.

Mike did an outstanding job remodeling our house in 2000. The quality of his craftsmanship still shows 21 years later. The work included design, demolition, masonry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, framing, drywall, painting, flooring, ceramic tiles, new bathroom construction, existing bathroom renovation, window replacement, exterior and interior doors, new shingle roof, and custom built-in shelving. We hired Ankuva Construction to repair termite damage. They were very knowledgeable about how to best fix the damage and had great communication about what additional work needed done immediately and what needed attention later. The project was like opening a can of worms but they took it in stride and showed us via pictures and in person what was hidden and how they would fix it. The price we were charged was very fair and we are very happy with their work. We actually immediately after them finishing the first project hired them to come do another project. We have been very happy with the quality of work and how thorough they were. If you need a construction company for work on your house look no further because these guys will go up and beyond expectation.

Mike (Halil) and his team did a gut rehab of my kitchen, painted my entire 7500 square-foot home, moved my laundry room upstairs into a space carved out of my master bathroom, and also the gut rehab of the master bathroom itself. He did an absolutely incredible job. The finished product was stunning. Extremely high quality workmanship using the finest materials. The people that purchased the home were really impressed. He also did a complete painting of my four-story townhome in Cameron Station, VA. That was over 10 years ago, and his original work is still there. My tenants that have been there for 10 years will tell you that the reason they rented my townhouse over my neighbors was Mike’s incredible workmanship. Would highly recommend without reservation.

Mike did a great job replacing an old deck and installing outdoor drainage at our home a couple of years ago. The deck looks great and he is very diligent about his work. Mike was recommended by a neighbor who also loved his work- would recommend!
