Chevez has consistently done great work for us! They got a new AC system installed for us just weeks before we brought home our first child, and it's been working great for us. They even threw in two additional vents they discovered we needed. They've been doing routine maintenance for us for years, and they've even fixed problems introduced by other work we've done to the house. Highly recommend!

Save yourself headache and trouble and choose Chevez HVAC for prompt, reasonably-priced and honest work. Our heat went out and we had a hunch it was the blower motor needing replacement. We started off with another large local company, FH Furr, who confirmed that was the issue, but clearly had no intention to repair that same day like we asked, as they then tried to claim the whole HVAC system was problematic and needed replacing. A blatant upsell and use of scare tactics, probably to get a holiday commission bonus. We did not appreciate the dishonesty and lack of consideration that we had been several days without heat in winter- imagine how much longer if we went with their suggested and unnecessary full replacement! Not to mention out of several thousand dollars for no reason. I’m sure they do it all the time to poor families who aren’t familiar with HVAC basics which is just greedy. The quoted price for the requested repair was also outrageous given the cost of the replacement motor and reasonable labor time. Seeking alternatives to FH Furr, I requested quotes from seven other companies who were authorized dealers for our HVAC model’s brand Lennox. Chevez got back first, offered a much more reasonable price, and their technician was honest and professional- he came on-time, did the requested repair in a timely fashion and didn’t play any games or try to make extra sales. I wish we chose them first. Thanks to Chevez for restoring our heat!

My 25-year-old climate control system was a candidate for upgrading. I had delayed because each of my previous contacts with plumbers or HVAC specialists was a nightmare. My home lost heat a few days ago at Christmas Eve. At this time of a year, in such cold weather, I feared I would find no one to help. Nevertheless, I was really lucky to find “Chevez HVAC Inc.”, located in my own town, University Park, MD. Just 20 minutes after my call, Mr. Julio Chevez, its owner, was in my home. I was happy to meet such a competent and intelligent person and see the result of his diagnostics, analysis, and assessment. I accepted his recommendations. The cost for the total replacement and upgrading of my heating and AC units and for a new liner for my water heater was very reasonable. To my surprise, this work was totally accomplished by Julio and four of his assistants during ten hours the next day. No dust or garbage was left behind in my home or yard. Everything looks so good, far surpassing my previous experience. I highly recommend “Chevez HVAC Inc.” and Mr. Julio Chevez. Thank you, Julio.
