I was shown an extremely high level of professionalism over the Labor Day weekend. Janet, the owner, went above and beyond during a dispute over a purchase. She put customer loyalty over profit and won my continued business by her ability to communicate, looking at the facts, and trusting that I wasn't trying to get over on the company. I was so blown away by her gesture that I turned around and bought three Osmanthus Goshiki plants from her. Unexpectedly, she had them waiting for me as I drove up so I wouldn't have to locate them on my own in the blazing sun. Wintergreen scored a huge W by actually earning business rather than expecting it. Well done!

Had a 50 compost 50 top soil delivered and I am truly impressed with the quality of the soil. The delivery was amazing, they called when on the way arriving on time and the whole transaction went smoothly. Thank you

My experience: Overall, a great place. Employees are very helpful, and management is ok. I bought compost from here, I was disappointed. Compost had lots of plastic and random debris, but this was already disclosed on their website, which I missed. The compost is "leaf grow" & Wintergreen gets it thru a third party, so essentially I was told if I were to get "leaf grow" compost from anywhere else, it would be the same. I did speak with management, they disclosed what I said, previously, and offered to cover delivery of any other product I would get.

Overall: compost (leaf grow) 2/10

I must say that Wintergreen Nursery in Leonardtown Rd Waldorf, MD is awesomely the best place to get all your lawn care and landscaping stuff. They have it all, from tiny rocks to huge paver rocks, from small beautiful seasonal flowers to big perennial all year round trees and bushes. The staff is always so welcoming, so professional, so courteous and helpful. Even when I’m not in the greatest mood I seen to always walkout with a smile on my smile with such awesome vibes from all the always so helpful staff. Thank you all for all your amazing attentiveness and the great above and beyond customer service.

We initially used Wintergreen Landscaping for our tree and scrub trim up. I was asked to give them a chance with cutting my lawn and because they did a great job with the trimming I figured why not. They quoted me a price for lawn mowing services to be down every other week. Before they began cutting my lawn, my grass was healthy, plush and green because I took care of it myself. When Wintergreen Landscaping began cutting my lawn I noticed patches of grass dying out. One day one of the reps told me that they shouldn't be leaving the clippings on the ground. So when I contacted the office to tell them the clippings that are being left are killing the grass, their response was pay us more to pick up the clippings or pay them to cut my lawn weekly. Either way it meant more money for them while my lawn went from looking amazing to being filled patches. It's a shame they treat customers this. I have attached before and after pictures to verify my complaint. I hope this saves someone else the time and money of dealing with this company.

Update: Well, less than 1 week after the mulch was put down, I have grass and weeds growing through it. I had purchased weed blocker that was supposed to be put down, and now I know why they had so much leftover! I don't know if they put any weed blocker down under any of the mulch at all!! I have sent an email with photos and received no reply AT ALL! Very disappointed. I was so excited to have our flower beds FINALLY look good but I guess that was not meant to be. I doubt I'll use Wintergreen ever again since they are not reliable and won't do the work they put in writing they would do.

Initial review: I am BEYOND thrilled with how great of a job Wintergreen did!!! I had HATED looking out back and the side of the house was so overgrown and embarrassing as well. We haven't owned the house for a year but the landscaping has always bothered me. The previous owners clearly didn’t care about this house for the few years they owned it and they allowed everything to be overgrown. The only things they tried to make look nice was what was visible from the street so it looked ok to sell. I tried to tackle some things on my own (like the hot mess rock bed behind the chimney) but it was too much for me. There was a rose bush that needed a legit chainsaw to cut, it was so overgrown. The bushes on the back corner of the house were taller than me (and had a random tree seedling growing up out of them!!). Some flower beds had YEARS of grass growth infiltrating them so you couldn't even tell they were demarcated flower beds!! But now, thanks to the wonderful crew at Wintergreen, they are BEAUTIFUL!!! Enjoy the before and after photos!!! Aside from the mess by the chimney, the before photos were taken 2 days before the landscapers came out. (The white specks in the new mulch are the Bradford pear blossoms that came off in the wind/rain). I am so excited to now fill in some of these spaces with flowers and really make this even more beautiful! Thanks again, Wintergreen! I am in love with my yard!!!

I cannot recommend Edwin and his crew highly enough. Not only was his quote the most competitive we received, but the quality of work far exceeded our expectations. Beyond a standard lawn aeration, Edwin took the initiative to haul away old scrap found during the clearing process.
What truly set them apart was their flexibility; when our concrete contractors arrived early, Edwin adjusted his schedule on the fly. His team came in ahead of time to dig and install underground drainage for our deck runoff at no extra cost. They are fast, professional, and genuinely care about the finished product.

Where do I start besides with nothing short of an amazing transformation. I had the same landscaper for 5 years and I trusted no one else with my yard. But Brothers Landscaping now has my landscaping contract because he bought vision, life change and creativity to my landscaping. Great communication, professional, the team cleaned up after themselves. If you need a positive change try Brothers Landscaping. You won’t be disappointed. Five stars was the highest rating but they need a ten.

Absolutely loved the white marble rocks and shrubs that Brother's installed at my home. They were professional and friendly to do business with. If your looking for a landscaper, I highly recommend them!! 👍
