Reviews of local pros in Amherst, Massachusetts

Rich was very friendly and did a super job. He was easy to reach and discuss job in advance. Once we arranged time, he arrive punctually. I moved some of the furniture but he moved, cleaned, and put back most of the items. I like the approach of brush cleaning first (with cleaner), then steaming. Carpet was only a bit damp after because his professional equipment operates much better than machines I've rented in supermarket. Whole apartment was cleaned so I won't need again for some time but I recommend him highly. (By the way, I arranged this for Mom, who lives in Applewood retirement community.)

Rich is fantastic. I had carpets that had pet urine and pet fur in them and they are like new again. It's the brush he uses that does the deep cleaning that makes a huge difference. he is attentive to every detail. I highly recommend him and his company.

Rich transformed an egregiously stained sofa into an immaculate one and gave our old grout a new lease on life. He was pleasant, prompt, and efficient--someone we enjoyed having in our house. He didn't waste a minute. The cost, though not inexpensive, seemed very reasonable given the complexity of his equipment and the quality of his results.

Rich did an incredible job. He also gave helpful recommendations for cleaning the glass for our showers. He took his time and made sure we were happy with the result. He was very respectful of covid guidelines with a perfectly fit mask, and wore booties on his shoes to prevent dirt from coming into our home. Really nice guy too. We will definitely use him again!

Amazing work! My husband and I thought our windows were ruined after we had our house power washed leaving spots on the glass that we tried and tried to remove ourselves without success. Rich used a special window cleaner and now our windows look brand new. He also worked miracles with removing stains from the carpet in our daughter's room that we thought was a lost cause. We are very happy with his work and attention to detail, and also how reasonable his prices are.

Rich can clean the impossible. He cleaned 2 chairs and a couch with years of dug in stains from our 3 dogs and our own heavy use. This was my "last shot" before replacing them. When he finished, they were just like new. He's meticulous and has high standards. His pricing is fair, his work ethic is fantastic and he responds quickly to emails. A gem.

I rarely leave reviews, but we are so thrilled with our now clean family room carpet that I took the time to write this. We knew of Rich, as he cleans the carpets and offices in our leased office space and does a great job, is very conscientious, hardworking, friendly and professional so we thought we would give him a try. I have never had my own carpets cleaned and I now wish I had not waited so long…the results are simply amazing. I did not realize the carpet had become so dirty after almost 20 years but when Rich finished cleaning it looked like it was just installed. Rich has top of the line equipment, including a special counter-rotating brush that he uses, he takes the time to do the job right and he takes great pains to protect other floors, etc. He really cares about the results of his work and was just as pleased with the results as I was. We will have him back to clean the bedroom carpets! I really can’t say enough about how pleased we are with his work and he charges a very fair price.

Rich did a fantastic job on our fitted carpets and room-size wool rugs alike, and for a very fair price. He was meticulous and thorough, went above and beyond to clean up every last stain, and was a pleasure to have around. Everything looks great. Unqualified recommendation!

Rich took my call immediately, and arrived to clean a badly soiled carpet in less than 24 hours, and on his day off. The tenant commented that she couldn't believe how clean the carpet is; the carpet is now pristine, and while he was there he got a window that was out of its' track back in. Amazing service at a very fair price, and a very nice person to work with. He stayed in contact thru the entire process, and sent me a photo when it was complete. I would definitely use him again, and I highly recommend him.

Rich was great. He answered my call promptly, scheduled quickly. He arrived on time. And did a phenomenal job. Carpets all look like new, even the stairs. Price of the service was very reasonable. I would highly recommend using Pioneer Cleaning. I will be having Rich back again next year when I do my spring cleaning. It really made a huge difference.

Rich did a great job. Easy to communicate and flexible. Greatly appreciate the work that was done at our house. Even sent a video before and after.

Rich did an amazing job. We are very happy with the results of his service. Our carpet looks and feels brand new. No dampness when he left, and the carpet was about 99 percent dry. Definitely recommend. I will be calling him back!

Absolutely terrific experience working with Pioneer. Very responsive, fair pricing, and terrific results. They cleaned our entire house, and our 30 year old carpets look better than they have in decades. Thank you for such great service and work!

My wife & I bought our home in 2003. The ground floor is white tile and grout, and the tile & grout were stained in areas from the previous owner. We had two cleaners come in, they couldn't make much of a dent in the tile and grout stains. Almost 20 years later, I hired Rich of Pioneer Cleaning to clean the tile and grout. A previous cleaner who gave an estimate, was not personable or professional. Rich is very personable, professional, & gave me a most reasonable price. He did a Full Court Press on our tile and grout, leaving it shining & sparkling. I had him come back the next day to apply a tile & grout sealer, at a very reasonable price point; it was a most worthwhile investment. My wife says it's like we have a new home, the floor is just immaculate and shining. Rich charges a dollar a foot for tile cleaning. Some other tile cleaners charge $3 a foot. Rich of Pioneer Cleaning put a shine and sparkle on our grout and tile that I didn't reckon was possible. This is the guy to go to. We're beyond satisfied and greatly pleased with Rich's work. Don't settle for less.

Wow, I feel like I want to tell everyone I know about this company! Rich cleaned the really gross carpeting on my stairs and got out every stain. And he used the unscented cleaner I requested. Then he tackled my ceramic tile. In the past, it took me days to scrub the grout and ridges--with a toothbrush. Rich got amazing results in an hour. It is sparkling clean and at least six shades lighter! All this great work comes from a most pleasant person, at very reasonable prices.

Rich was so pleasant to work with and listened to my concerns about using pet friendly cleaning products. We just bought a new house and the carpet DESPERATELY needed some cleaning as the last owner had a very furry pup and the carpet was completely brown in some areas. I wish I took a before and after picture because the difference was incredible. Rich took the time to explain the cleaning process to me and the rugs were also almost completely dry when he was finished! Highly recommend!

Rich did an outstanding job! He uses high quality equipment that left our carpets clean and without any lingering chemical smell. Extremely reasonable prices and a very pleasant guy to work with. I highly recommend!

Excellent service, did an amazing job getting out an ink again from a new couch. Really grateful for Rich and his expertise!

I recently had a great experience with Pioneer Cleaning. From our initial communication, Rich was prompt in his responses, demonstrating both professionalism and honesty. I had bought a second-hand sofa that was marred by numerous watermarks. With remarkable skill, Rich managed to eliminate these stains, leaving me thoroughly impressed. The sofa now looks absolutely fantastic!

Had the carpet on my bridal shop stairs cleaned before my grand opening. You can tell they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. After Richard cleaned them, the stairs looked like brand new carpeting!

Richard did an amazing job - I thought I would have to replace my carpet and it now looks brand new! He was great to work with and I highly recommend.
