They answered my call (another company went to voicemail and I got a called back a couple days later) and gave me a quote the next day. The price was better than I expected and they offered stump grinding while some others didn't. They got me on the schedule for about a week out and confirmed their arrival time the day before, and they showed up exactly when they said they would. They arrived with great heavy duty equipment and a full crew. An hour later the 50’ tree and the stump were gone. They spent a decent amount of time (probably a half hour) cleaning up the area before leaving. I definitely recommend them.

GREAT COMMUNICATION AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
We had a 120+ ft pine come down overnight, I contacted Dan Ferris in the morning and responded immediately and came by that same afternoon. He walked me through the removal process and equipment staging. We scheduled the removal a few days later and Dan check in the day before to ensure my kids outdoor toys etc. were cleared for equipment to be moved outback. The crew was professional and made my sons day when they found two little ducks he hid in the tree. The cleanup was beyond what I expected, there was not a pine needle left on the ground. I highly recommend this local business!

Crew did an excellent job removing a large pine that had been hit by lightning. They were fast and efficient. However, owner was hard to deal with and seemed to lack people skills. Never had a contractor with a bad attitude before.

Quality work, 2 trees removed and 7 trimmed, and the yard is cleaner than when they came in, And the pricing was great. If you need tree service check them out. What a great crew.

I needed an emergency tree limb removal and Dan and his crew came through for me big time. They were prompt and professional and knew exactly what to do. He told me he could come by at 6:45 and his crew could come over at 7:30. Sure enough, they were there like clockwork. After they clean up my yard, there was not a pine needle to be seen. Excellent job!

These guys were phenomenal! Came to my house exactly at time scheduled, with a complete crew and intense machinery to get the job done quick and right! The crane lifted entire trees safely over my house into the chipper which readily ate them. All the time they kept the street clean, and we're safety conscious. I had them take down 4 trees on my lot, 3 in my back yard, and in addition trim 4 other trees and they were completely done in under 6 hours, including cleanup. I can't recommend Ferris Tree Service any better - just a great experience and competitive price for a job very well done!

We recently hired Ferris Tree Services to come take care of a handful of things on our property, to include removing several large trees, clearing a lot of smaller trees out of a ~2000 sqft section of land, and grinding a whole lot of stumps.

Dan was quick to come out for the initial estimate, and not only had the best pricing of the several quotes we'd gotten but also had the best explanation for how they'd go about the job without tearing up our yard. Additionally, he was able to quickly alter the estimate when we later realized we had a larger scope of work that we wanted to do than we'd originally planned for.

Once they were able to book us in the schedule, they were here promptly at the time they said they would and got right down to work. They were efficient, safe, and did a great job making sure things weren't damaged. At the end of the day, they made sure everything was fully cleaned up, their work looks great, and we're very happy we went with them.

This is 100% the Tree company I'm going to call again in the future if I need to get further work done or have anything large come down in a storm. Would highly recommend.

We had several tree branches coming over our house & roof that needed to be cut. Dan & his team arrived on time the day the cutting was scheduled. The work they did was nothing short of 5 stars. Great attention & care was taken to cut all the big branches neatly & symmetrically. Dan has been professional, responsive & he along with his team made sure the place was cleaned up well, before the crew & the machinery were off our property, not to forget all the care they took when they got in all the equipment on the property.
