Tree reviews in Andover, Massachusetts

We highly recommend hiring Bamberg Tree Service. Jonathan and Joe are highly knowledgable arborists and trustworthy, reliable workers. They went above and beyond what we hired them for (pruned a smaller tree they saw that needed some TLC and taught us how to treat its root rot and researched the questions we had about ivy growing on some of our trees, and more). We hired Bamberg thinking we had a dying maple that we needed removed (a lucrative job) and Jonathan let us know during his assessment that the tree was healthy and explained why the past 2 seasons it may have looked otherwise because of weather and freezes. Jonathan pruned our trees and opened up the trunks to more sunlight where moss was growing. He also removed some big branches that may have caused damage to our cars or our neighbors' yards, all with the health of the tree in mind. Jonathan and Joe showed up through the heatwave and cleaned up quickly and well and let us know ahead about a needed break they were taking because of the heatwave. They also left some wood, that we asked for, to use as firewood, which we really appreciated. An unexpected surprise was that Jonathan does all of his own climbing (as opposed to bringing heavy machinery or vehicles on property) and he hauls away limbs and does the chipping on another property (so no loud noises for neighbors or you). It was amazing to see the skillful climbing and use of different tools. I'd have loved to have hired Bamberg when my kids were younger, for the learning and watching experience. Support a small business and a dying art. Invite a healthy diversion and a learning opportunity to your own yard - and feel good about caring for your yard, your neighbors and your trees!

I had Bamberg do some work in my backyard. It was last minute and quite extensive and I must say I was blown away by the before and after. Not only did he work swiftly and efficiently, but he cleaned up so well you would never even know how much brush, branch and vine he just removed. Nice guy, you could tell he’s passionate about what he does and takes pride in his work. An easy recommend for anyone looking to have some greenery cleaned up on their property. 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Call him you won’t regret it! The first 2 images are before and the third the amazing after.
