Rewired kitchen, installed under counter lights, installed exhaust fan I love them -- very helpful, easy to talk to, left kitchen clean.
This is going to be a long one...but bare with me, it's got a great ending. Ok, so technically speaking, I didn't work with WFF Inc. but through a simple act of kindness I find myself here today. Simple, but profound. SPOILER ALERT! If you like hallmark moments involving tiny, adorable old women then don't touch that dial. My grandmother is 92 years old, she lives in Winchester where she lives in the same house she and her husband raised their family in, and their family's families; all the way to great grand babies numbers 3 and 4 currently on their way. He passed on in 1987 and since then she's been responsible for the home which, by now, is baring the same effects of time as my grandmother herself. Josie, her name is Josie and she's a 4-foot ball of fire. Last week as my aunt (who is in her 50's, developmentally challenged, and lives with Josie...they assist each other in bringing the fullness of the world to one another...when they're not trying to kill each other), was getting ready for her job as a bagger at Shaws in Woburn when she noticed a funny smell in the area of the fridge. After some exploratory sniffing they discovered a thin stream of smoke coming from the outlet behind the refrigerator into which the icebox was plugged. Quickly now, the thin stream of smoke became erupting sparks ('It was like fireworks', my aunt later recounted to me); and then small flames appeared...! A flight of stairs, 92-year-old bones. A breaker box in a dark corner and 92-year-old eyes...it didn't look good. Thankfully the fire quelled itself, the fridge unplugged (albeit dangerously by Josie...but you can't tell that woman anything), and the breaker finally located and turned off; the damage was assessed, a cousin was called and that cousin had sent over a man named Billy from William F. Fitzmaurice, Inc. Billy, as I understand it, is the progeny of the owner, William F. Fitzmaurice, Jr. himself. First of all...right there: this guys out in the field, not behind a desk, so take that for what you will, but take the rest here and remember it next time the wires go wonky in your home. Ok...you've hung in there, and we're almost done. Way to go. Billy takes a look, unscrews things, replaces small parts, puts things back together, cleans up, plugs in the fridge, flips the breaker...the fridge is purring once again (Josie was in a panic about, 'all the food!'). "What do I owe you, Billy?" Josie asks. Billy shakes his head and puts up his hand, "nothing at all," he tells her. "At least let me pay for parts," Josie says, agape. He wouldn't hear of it. ...And this is the part where we all need a moment, at least, I do. <tear>. The act speaks for itself. I wish to thank Billy and everyone at WFF, Inc for their immeasurable kindness, their community, and their example. Josie is one of my favorite people in the known universe; a constant source of inspiration, humor and knowledge; and wholly self-reliant which can plague a worrisome family. It warms our hearts and eases our minds to know that there exists such generosity and caring in the world and in business. You're a pillar Billy. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You. I'm a graphic artist, and if anyone at WFF, Inc is reading this: if there's ever anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out. Happy New Year! Best wishes for 2017!
Joe and Bill were extremely helpful in resolving a repair with the electric service drop to my house. They coordinated with the necessary entities to classify the repair appropriately to avoid a significant service fee. They treat your job as if it were theirs.
So pleased with the work completed! When the fixtures did not work for my very outdated electrical boxes, Vaudo Electric offered to go to find fixtures that would work!! I purchased the recommended fixtures and Vaudo Electric returned to my home the next day to make sure the fixtures were correctly installed and safe for my home. Reliable, prompt and helpful. Thank you Vaudo Electric!
I had a great experience with Joe and his team! They installed an EV charger at my home, and the work was top-notch-clean, professional, and efficient. The pricing was fair, and they took the time to ensure everything was done properly. Highly recommend for anyone needing electrical work!
