Tom Curren Company is head and shoulders above their competitors. Every person with whom I interacted was a pleasure. They are excellent communicators, they are meticulously punctual, and they do exactly what they tell you they will do. Their integrity is quite high and they take pride in their work. They refinished our kitchen cabinets, installed a new backsplash, and painted. Detail orientation was superb. Included in the cost was a color specialist who helped us select the perfect colors for our cabinets and walls, and she even recommended specific lightbulbs for our fixtures to create a warm effect. We couldn’t be happier.

I consulted with Tom Curren to do some household projects. A pleasant representative came to the house and met with me to obtain the scope of the projects. He then proceeded to set up an appointment with me which would include my husband to review their estimate. When I tried to re-schedule the appointment to an earlier time that would be with just me the response was that my husband had to be included. I am routinely in charge of the household projects and quite frankly found this insulting and sexist. I do not want to do business with a company that has such business practices.

We hired Tom Curren Co. to demo and plaster the ceilings in two of our bedrooms and they did a fantastic job. They had to demo the entire ceiling, which they did very carefully and they hauled away all of the debris. The finished ceilings are smooth and beautiful. We also had them put up crown molding in the two rooms, which looks great. They were very easy and professional to work with, which I really appreciated. Their office is terrific at scheduling (by phone and email) and they always followed up with us very promptly. The crew chief kept us apprised at every step of the project and we were very satisfied with the end result.

They did a great job installing new decking and railings on our small side door steps & landing! They did the job in a single day. Every step of the way, each person we interacted with was friendly, prompt, and professional. Even when we decided to change our minds on one of the decorative items after they were ordered, they offered to replace them and come back the following week to reinstall them. I highly recommend Tom Curren company and will definitely use them again in the future!

We had a very good experience with Tom Curren Companies. We needed it to fix same shingles around the house, update window's frames and paint a four story house. Emerson's crew was assigned to do the job and they were excellent professionals, polite, respectful and everyday before leaving they cleaned up everything. Emerson was very good and insuring that the house would look the best and the work would be done as fast as possible. These combination of professionals are not easy to find, we certainly recommend them.

We had our porch re screened, new door and overall shoring it up and closing up leaks. The guys were here on time every day and performed quality work. They finished the job in the estimated time. The materials seem to be better than what was originally there and the finished product is awesome. I’ve paid cut rate prices for work around the house before and have learned the hard way that a good price doesn’t mean good quality. This is the second project we’ve done with Tom Curren and I’ve definitely got what I paid for. I know the work was done right.

The professionals who worked in our house did an excellent job that required a high qualification. They are highly efficient and accurate and always arrived on time. Their suggestions were very thoughtful.

We used Tom Curren in the past when we’d had serious ice storm damage to the interior of our home
and were extremely pleased with team and the outcome. I recently contacted them for wooden deck cleaning ,staining, and repair, washing the mold off the rear siding of the house, and painting a steel bulkhead door.
Tom Curren himself came to assess and estimate the project and arrived with the team leader to introduce him and go over the project details.
The team completed the project professionally, in a timely manner and were very pleasant to work with. We were pleased with the outcome. Tom Curren will be our first ”go-to” when considering our next home project.

We had extensive bathroom remodeling which took place over 5 months. We also had some misadventures with water leaks into the basement, which required renovations and repairs. First and foremost, the lead carpenter one deals with on most days is critical. This person really manages all the other contractors and keeps the homeowners informed when people are going to “invade” one’s house so to speak. This person at Curren is Mark Chisholm. I have never dealt with a more consistently professional, skilled and pleasant individual. He worked with all the other contractors and their schedules, personalities and skill sets with amazing effectiveness. Every one treated us with respect and worked with us on our schedules and other preferences. The quality of the work was excellent. One is not going to get bargain basement prices, but when it comes to such work, to a significant extent you get what you pay for. I cannot recommend Mark and the Curren people enough.

We are very happy with the how our house looks. The Tom Curren team was meticulous and thorough while painting our house. The result shows how professional their entire approach was, from the prepping, the painting, and finally the cleanup. We had the entire exterior done: siding, foundation, deck and stoop. Our direction and requests were understood and carried out to the letter. The team members were friendly, accommodating, and considerate. Highly recommended!

We used Tom Curren to do a complete tub-to-shower renovation in a 27 year old bathroom. The folks at Tom Curren, each of the sub-contractors, and the tile specialist were great people to work with; high quality work and attention to detail, and they listened to what we were hoping to do and gave good alternatives to accomplish them. The project took 2 weeks longer than originally estimated, but the bathroom turned out to be everything we had envisioned.

There was exceptional attention paid to details, cleanliness, and punch list follow throughs. This was our second project with Tom Curren Companies. We needed to completely renovate our small kitchen. We are thrilled with the results! Mike led the construction team and he was wonderful. He always kept us up to date on what was happening and offered several suggestions to improve the final product. He was a pleasure to work with.
My only negative was during the design process. I wish we had more expertise available with the cabinet layout to help us maximize out space. Luckily, the cabinet vendor was able to spot the flaws in the design and correct them.

Under no circumstances should you trust this organization. The work is awful and the only way they will come back and fix their work is if you sign up for additional work. They drag their feet, their transient workers come and go and they claim they purged their emails and records. Not us, we keep all of them. We prove lack of follow-up, lousy work and they will only correct it if we sign up for more work. No integrity at Tom Curren. Stay away from this place. Lots of smiles and good intentions but that is all it is. Smiles and empty promises. Happy to share my
photos if any one is looking a reference. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Do not recommend. Their website claims to work with projects of all sizes, but in actuality they're only available for high profit full renos. Wasted my time by their admin Christina and ultimately wouldn't work with us because apparently my money isnt green. Beware of money hungry jerks.
