After talking about hiring a landscaper to level our backyard for YEARS and being ghosted by more than one landscaper, we found Mac’s Landscape Contractors online. Gerry the owner came and gave us an estimate on the spot the next day. Work was started in 3 business days. One day to level our 2,700 square foot yard and then 1 1/2 hours to hydroseed the lawn the next day. Gerry kept recommending we landscape a section of our front lawn that we hadn’t considered. Gerry was right! That area of the front lawn was landscaped after negotiating a fair and reasonable additional cost. We received numerous compliments from our neighbors. Gerry and the Team know their lawns! Mac’s Landscape Contractors has been in business for over 50 years and it certainly shows. We highly recommend Mac’s Landscape Contractors to anyone who wants a job done right and professionally. We would absolutely hire them in the future.

We hired Junior and the crew for spring clean up and some much needed TLC to our somewhat overgrown property and we are so happy with the work they did. They went above and beyond, cleaning leaves, mowing, trimming and shaping every bush, walkways cleared and beds weeded, they removed big branches and even a small fallen tree, replaced all the mulch and decorative rock and so much more. We have a good sized property so, this wasn't a small job. Junior and his team are such a pleasure to work with. We are so pleased with how our property looks and will continue to use Kissner Landscaping.

Have used Kissner landscaping for over four years now for regular mowing, and spring and fall cleanups. Mowing is always done on schedule with easy electronic payment. Cleanups have been scheduled and completed with great communication as to timing and completion. I have had problems in the past with other companies being “no shows”. That is never the case here. He provides great service.

Does good work but is a terrible communicator, cannot keep appointments even when clients have $3000+ of work waiting to be done for a a home appraisal. Further he will add on extra work above and beyond what is agreed to and just start billing for it sometimes doubling or tripling agreed upon monthly work costs.

Also will lie, cajole and threaten you if he or his people damage your property. He will refuse to fix it unless you have evidence and even then will act as if he is purchasing your property from you and will demand that he has rights to the damaged property.

Will use poor English to threaten law suits when he does not like something, does not understand business, is very dishonest, speaks poorly and is extremely short and rude even when on good terms.

I highly recommend Brian. Brian (and his over 30 years of experience) does the main work himself not some member of a crew that has who knows how much experience. My yard was a disaster and n ow I get compliments from strangers that pass by. Brian added a 50 foot wall, a new cobble walkway, granite steps, sprinkler system, lighting and new lawn. They all came out great. Brian kept talking about a Dinsmore lawn. I was thinking sure, sure whatever. Now that it is done, believe me you want a Dinsmore lawn. I think the best thing about Brian is his integrity. While the job was going he asked me for some money for the supplies. I told him I would write a check for a certain amount. He said that is too much and only wanted 2/3 of the amount. Who does that except Brian?

Brian was always very good at getting back to me when I texted him. The job has been complete for a few months now and he still answers my questions very quickly.

I had no issues with costs being added on from the contract. There was some additional work I added and Brian was more than willing to do the extra and the cost was very reasonable.

Update: it is 3 months later
If you are the type of person who gets tired of hearing how nice your yard looks dont use Brian. It has not just been friends, strangers walking by tell me.
