George from Top Tree was great from beginning to the end. They removed 8 large pine trees quickly and with great care. The crew was a well oiled machine that made a difficult and large job look easy. Cleanup was exceptional.

George and his crew came in to prune some dead branches and cut back some big stuff on the trees around our house. A lot of it was tough to get to and they climbed and worked the bucket around lots of obstacles we had. It was important to me to trim the trees while protecting their longevity. George is an arborist and trimmed stuff with the health of the tree in mind. Very satisfied with the work and the price. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

George and his crew removed an 80 foot tree that had split in half. It was hard to get to but they completed the project professionally and cleanly. I highly recommend them. Bonus: George is a certified arborist and has been one for 30 + years. He's been doing tree removal for 24 years.

My experience with Top Tree was ultimately positive. My family needed to remove a large, dying sugar maple threatening our home. George was responsive to calls and emails, and he scheduled the job relatively quickly. We had some back and forth discussion on the best approach, which included the possibility of having a large crane on our freshly paved driveway move branches above our house; George heard my concerns and adjusted the plan to address them. In the process of removing the tree, his team accidentally broke a section of our picket fence. Understandable - accidents happen when doing this type of risky work. George first tried to fix the fence himself, but when he couldn’t find the exact right pieces, he enlisted the help of the original contractor for our fence. In the end, the work cost him more money than expected, but he was very responsible and made sure to address each issue thoroughly.

Thank you Top Tree, George Silva. Out of 1-10 they were definitely a 10 ! They were fantastic. We watched them take all 26 large spruce trees down in a day. They are excellent workers. No damage was done and they cleaned up the yard better than it was. They also removed the stumps the next day. We are so grateful for the wonderful job they did.

George contacted us to review the job site. He came out the same day, assessed the job and gave us a reasonable quote on the spot. George and his crew arrived as scheduled the following day. They did an outstanding job from start to finish cutting the trees, grinding the stumps and a complete cleanup of the area. They were extremely polite and professional. Top Tree today removed a huge, dangerous half-hollow tree in our backyard surrounded by houses here in Newton MA. Safe operation, insured, market price (not cheap BTW), fast & super cleanup. They brought the crane, a game changer. Nice people, helped with our dogs that were a handful because of the excitement. We have already recommended them to our other neighbors.

George and his team did an amazing job cutting down over 15 trees on our property. Big trees. Damaged trees. Dead trees. They also ground down all of the stumps. The team was fast, efficient and polite. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

I used George and his team once for tree removal. The trees were removed as planned, but the job was not finished neatly. When I returned from work, I noticed remaining rhododendron roots and small arborvitae trunks still sticking out of the ground. Nothing major, but it was not completed as promised.

I contacted George about it, and he assured me he would come back to take care of it. He never showed up. I followed up by text, and again he promised to come the next day, but never did. I still have the messages. Eventually, I stopped waiting and fixed the remaining issues myself since they were manageable, but the job was not completed as agreed.

Later on, I contacted George again for an estimate to plant a spruce tree that was scheduled for delivery. We shook hands, and he promised to be there on the day of delivery to plant it. Once again, he never showed up. After calling multiple times, he finally answered about a week later and said he would come that day, and again, he did not show up.

Fortunately, I had contacted another local tree service, and they completed the planting within three days of their visit after delivery. We were very close to losing the spruce tree due to delays caused by relying on George.

While the initial tree removal itself was okay, George is extremely unreliable and does not follow through on his commitments. Based on my experience, I would not use his services again or recommend him to others.

George and his crew just finished removing our ~60 year old Norway maple. It took about 2 hours which is amazingly fast. They deployed big equipment and cut the tree down in no time. We're very impressed by their efficiency. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, the process was smooth and as promised. Someone came out as scheduled and walked the yard with me, making notes and tagging trees. The estimate arrived the next day and was very reasonable. They scheduled the work a few days later and the three-person crew was very friendly and professional. They took care with the pruning of five overgrown trees, communicated any questions or concerns, cleaned up everything, and were done in just a few hours. The work looks great and I would definitely use them again (this is already the second time).
