This crew is amazing. We had a frozen pipe burst in our 2nd floor bedroom and they were here quickly to handle the issue. Ryan was professional, knowledgeable and went well above and beyond to make sure we were in good shape. I’ll be using Papalia for all my home needs moving forward.

We hired Papalia Home Services to remove our old, noisy, and smelly oil boiler. They installed 2 mini slip systems. We couldn't be happier. Papalia made the demolition and install process clear. They were on time. They cleaned up at the end of each day. You would not have known they had been here.

I hired them to do regular maintenance on the new systems. John did a fabulous job for us. He was quick, clearly knowledgeable, clear about what he was doing, and suggested next steps.

Great team, they just installed my new furnace and thermostats with minimum disruption and explained everything in detail! They just installed my new water heater, Flo by MOEN shut off valve and under sink filter. Seamus and Aiden were awesome! They arrived on time, removed my old tank, replaced the water heater and left everything super tidy! Quick and efficient. Seamus explained everything in detail and did an awesome job overall. Even helped me set up an electrician appointment. Papalia services are great, highly recommend them. Thank you again!

This was essentially a last minute project that needed to be done before further issues arose. The leak was substantial, and in good conscious was something that couldn't be ignored. The plumber Victor, met with me, and I explained the issue. Kidding around I asked if he could do the necessary work immediately? He responded in the affirmative, and began the job. A plumbers apprentice was dropped off at the job site by the name of Nam, they worked well as a team getting the job done. Papalia Home Services answered the call, providing a service that couldn't be delayed.

I cannot recommend Papalia Home Services more highly! From answering the phone promptly, to providing answers to all my questions, to arranging a same day service. They did it all with no hesitation. A great office staff

Had an emergency visit with Papalia- pipe freezing and burst at the water meter. They were fast to dispatch the tech, and he was helpful, informative and quick to stop any further damage and set a plan for repair. They came back the next day and worked fast to get repairs done so we were back up with water before lunch the next day.
Price was very reasonable, especially for an emergency weekend call.

My AC system needed to be replaced after 27 years. Papalia was responsive to my quote request. Carl listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and provided a competitively priced quote within 24 hours. Not only did their team exhibit excellent customer service but they offered better than standard warranty on their workmanship and a much appreciated Veterans discount! Carlo’s install team did an amazing job being respectful of our home while contending with monsoon like conditions and were able to complete all work in one day! Amanda was great. Losing my heat while I was out of town was terrible but connecting with Amanda was just great.
She kept in touch with me while going to my home early Sunday morning. She assessed the problem and called me to explain everything and then fixed the faulty thermostat , when she returned to connect my new system she carefully explained how it worked and what I needed to know to set it up.
This is all good but I’m a senior and often need detailed technical help. Amanda and her colleague Ben were so kind and so helpful , I have to acknowledge Amanda

Reasonable rates, professional friendly technicians and staff. Installed my furnace/AC with very little disruption, tech's are respectful of home and property. Very pleased results.

Problem with my thermostat rebooting which resulted in the heat shutting down. Called them during a snow storm and they sent out tech Branden who arrived within the hour. Polite and professional as usual and got the problem fixed without haste.

Our hot water tank was leaking. Called Papalia, they were able to come in on the same day and replace it for us. (Electric) The access to the boiler wasn’t great due to the snow. They were still able to remove the old boiler and replace it quickly. Great service and a thorough job with the install. Thank you!

On the weekend of a predicted nor easter our heat stopped working in our newly purchased home. As first time home owners the panic set in. Peta was able to be sent to our home within a couple hrs. We needed a new glow plug but he didn’t have one in the truck. Another Papalia truck was in Burlington that had one so Peta drove from our home in Peabody and back to get it.
While Peta was here he was also able to replace our thermostat. Our house came with Nest thermostats already installed and we haven’t liked them since we moved in.
Peta was friendly, professional, and got the job done well.

I returned home, after a weekend away, to discover temperatures in my home a chilly 42 degrees F! No heat!
I had no regular company so, after a bout of hysteria, I began searching Google for heating repair companies.
Long story short, I found Papalia Home Services.
Can you imagine! A real, live person answered the phone and the woman was really nice! I bet that they were really busy with the storm and all but she promised that a technician would be out that day to help! She explained their pricing system so there would be no misunderstanding.
Sure enough, two young men (I'm 75 so everyone is young) arrived and got right to work.
They replaced a circulatory pump and flushed my system. They suggested maintenance which I intend to follow up on with them in the spring.
Was I happy? Yes! I would recommend them with no reservations.

We had Ryan at Papalia come out initially to lift a powder room toilet and then come back to re-install it after another contractor put in new wood flooring. (The flooring install is important to the toilet story - we had a toilet leak repaired by a previous plumber about 10 years ago and the flooring install was to repair the blackened, water-damaged flooring around the toilet--finally).

This was a two-visit job, but Ryan took the time to write it up as one estimate so we would not be charged twice for the dispatch fee. He also was able to determine once the toilet was lifted that the flange needed to be reinforced-repaired, as while the leak had been fixed by another plumber, the flange had broken off on one side. This had not been fully addressed and the toilet still rocked a bit (old Victorian house, uneven floors we thought).

Ryan was super easy to work with, he pulled the toilet on the first visit and was willing to Face Time the next day once the old flooring had been pulled to fully examine the damage to the flange - to understand the extent of the repair he would need to do once the flooring was redone. Then he returned to repair the flange, reinforcing it with a metal piece, and then shimmed the toilet in several places to deal with the still-uneven floor before re-mounting the toilet. We were impressed with his competence and the high level of service. He's a pleasure to work with. As well, Papalia admin team - Crystal and others - were easy to work with on scheduling both by phone and text. We will be calling Papalia back soon for another plumbing issue. Thanks!

We had 4 leaking water valves in our basement. Peter and Aiden were a great team - very friendly, professional, and skilled. Since we had recently moved to this house, Peter offered to survey for other plumbing issues and discovered several important ones. We had received a lower bid for the job, but we liked Papalia service in the past. We are very happy with our upgraded, easier-to-use-and-maintain valves (photo) and excellent customer service!l. That includes how easy it was to schedule the visit and communicate with the home office.

We had an issue with our gas boiler and this was our first time dealing with this type of system. The technician was extremely patient and explained how the boiler works in a way that was easy to understand.

Based on our description, he quickly identified the problem and was very honest about the options. He did not push any unnecessary maintenance or repairs, which we really appreciated.

Even when we decided not to replace the part right away due to the age of the boiler, he remained professional, patient, and friendly. Will definitely call him again. Highly recommend!
