They do great work. We’ve had them come and two work on our house a few times. They’ve fixed some of our plumbing and they installed a new water heater. Most recently was a new water heater.
They do great work. Their plumbers are very professional. When an issue arises they explain what’s going on and what needs to be done.

Dean and his team has been amazing. As a maintenance director of a nursing home and you have a heat or plumbing issue it is of the highest importance for our residents to solve the issue as soon a possible. Thank you for your prompt service and quality work!

Aiden was very professional and thorough. It wasn’t an easy job as the old water heater he replaced was 25 years old so all the plumbing had to be redone but it turned out awesome. Dean also got back to me immediately and we had the new water heater installed in less than 24 hours. Very happy with this company. Thanks Dean & Aiden!

We had a shower faucet issue that needed immediate servicing. Phoned DMB ( got the name off of a FB post from my town page) I left a message and Dean, the owner, got back to me in literally less than a minute. They came out to our house and took care of the situation for us! We will definitely use Dean’s company again!

DMB plumbing and heating is absolutely wonderful!! Dean always answers his phone or gets back to you right away. I've called DMB plumbing twice and both times Dean answered the phone and was able to address my problem pretty much right away. James is also excellent. He came to my house to install a new shut off valve and was so knowledgeable and so very pleasant and did a great job! I very highly recommend calling DMB plumbing for any of your plumbing needs!

Called out for help today for help with water heater at my hair salon in Halifax. DMB Plumbing was recommended he offered to come by same day . They were there quick checked it out gave me a price ,and they did the hard job of squeezing water heater’s out of my bathroom ceiling’ and installing new one ! They were great and reasonably priced, thanks guys.

This company is amazing. Had an issue with our water heater and they replaced it the next day. The technician, James, was personable and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend for any HVAC services.

Great group. James worked on two separate occasions at my place. Very conscientious and courteous which is not so common anymore. He took the time to double check all of his work and make sure the two problems were solved the first time. I plan to continue to use DMB and will probably request the same guy. The owner was great to deal with and very reasonable. Fair prices. Nothing is ever free but he wasnt taking advantage of me.

I was stuck, so I had asked in my hometown FB page for referrals for a new gas furnace. Someone posted Dean Blanchard's name and a phone number, so I called him. He came over in a few days, I was not in a huge rush and he actually gave me the price immediately when I initially called him. I needed him to see it for myself, to be sure. He corroborated the price, then I needed a water heater done too, so he gave me a price for both and we were both happy.
I had other quotes and Dean was a much lower price than the competition.
DMB Plumbing and Heating came on the day he was scheduled, old out, new installed and they cleaned up after the job was done.
I highly recommend Dean for any job that you need done.

BEWARE!! Stay FAR away from these crooks! I hired DMB for a large job that consisted of new plumbing being brought up to a 2nd and 3rd floor bathroom (supply and drain pipes) on an old early 1900s home. Deans crew was extremely destructive and all the work from the “rough” work was leaking after I was told I could close up floors and walls. The plumber Michael that works for Dean vandalized other plumbing in the house and never fixed it. He also let water out of my water heater to create the facade my heater was leaking so I’d have to buy a new one. These crooks also brought the plumbing inspector into my home and paraded him around and showed him issues unrelated to the work I hired them for hoping that the inspector would try and force me to do it and give them more work/money. My 100+ year old floors were scraped with cast iron pipes being dragged across them, stair treads broke, walls smashed through, electrical wires frayed, multiple supporting joists cut through, water damage, leaking pipes and so much more. I had to fire these people before we could do the finish work and hire a new transfer plumber. New transfer plumber told me he has heard of many stories about Dean Blanchard and his crew and how on one job Dean himself installed a sewer ejection system backwards and if they ever actually turned it on poop would be going out the roof! New plumber confirmed water heater was fine and it was a trick being used against me. Additionally, the new plumber had to fix all the work done by DMB crew. DMB used a 1/2 inch supply line to supply 2 bathrooms that I told him would be used at the same time! That supply line was too small for 2 bathrooms and my new plumber changed it to 3/4th which is normal. So many more issues I could write pages about it but Google limits the review length. (I tried already) DMB got 7,500 out of me for the rough but honestly having to fix everything they didn’t deserve that much ! I feel very screwed over by these plumbers and in the end had to spend more to hire someone competent. Stay far away if you want to save your time, money and sanity! These plumbers are LIARS and will Lie or create issues to get your business.

Dean and his crew Nick and Bryce did an amazing job putting in a toilet, bathroom sink and outside shower. We hit a glitch with the toilet being defective from Home Depot. Dean assessed the problem got a new toilet and Nick installed with ease. Dean was extremely easy to deal with when I had problems with the toilet he quickly made the best of the situation by helping me in a timely manner. Nick and Bryce were such polite and knowledgeable helpers made my day that they went out of their way to help me. If u looking for plumbing needs look no further reasonable and went beyond to help.

Recently had our gas hot water heater fail on a Sunday night. A quick phone call and some pictures shared with Dean, and we had his guy out first thing Monday morning, back in business by early Monday afternoon. He’s always super responsive, is honest with timelines, and follows up to make sure we’re satisfied with the job upon completion. He did a boiler for us about a year ago during a February cold snap, and we had an identical experience - extremely responsive, great comms, and great work. I’m looking forward to hiring him for our next non-emergency job. I’d highly recommend Dean and is team to anyone!

Great turnaround time, I had messaged Dean heading into a weekend and had an appointment for that next Wednesday. Technician was friendly and accommodating, cleaned after himself. Even after a new issue popped up on the burner service where a fitting began dripping, he was able to come back out first thing the next morning and fix the issue. Would recommend

My sump pump was failing I reached out to Dean, we showed up at my house on a Sunday morning and fixed the sump pump perfectly. Ge was great. The response time was unbeatable and he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

I was dealing with issues from an outdated and poorly installed whole-house water filtration system in my newly purchased home, which is on a well. After asking for recommendations from locals on social media, I was pointed to DMB—and I’m so grateful I followed that advice.
Dean reached out to me right away and had someone at my home the very next day to assess the situation. I knew the job would be big and fairly involved, so I was prepared for that. Dean gave me a very reasonable estimate, which I agreed to, and he promptly ordered the necessary materials. Within a week, he scheduled the job—impressively fast considering how busy most plumbers are these days.
His crew came out last Friday and spent the entire day tackling the work. They were incredibly hardworking, thorough, and took the time to listen to all my concerns. They rerouted and replaced pipes, fixed a faulty valve, and walked me through the operation of the new filtration system in detail. I even noticed them using a shop vac to clean up as they went—great attention to detail.
I'm extremely thankful to have found Dean and his team. Just a reminder: plumbing is skilled work that requires extensive training, so if you're hiring professionals like this, don’t complain about the price. Be grateful there are knowledgeable, experienced people out there who can do the job right.

I needed a plumber to unhook my old gas range and hook up the new gas range. Dean accommodated my request quickly. He was flexible around my delivery time and the electrician. I've used DMB multiple times for plumbing jobs, always great, but when I had an issue with my furnace, I was so glad to find out they did heating too! Dean made sure we were taken care of, got us a new furnace in under 24 hours after another company quoted us 4 days while it was subfreezing. Thousands less in price, days earlier to get our heat back, and great to work with. I highly recommend!!

Dean replaced my tankless water heater for cheaper than my local company and on the SAME day I called. I found him in a group on Facebook where multiple people recommended him and I’m glad I reached out. The new unit is performing great and he even helped plumb a (very difficult) toilet supply line while he was there. I would definitely recommend Dean.
