Mark Robichaud came out to our house to give us an estimate. There are no words to describe how friendly, professional, honest, understanding and kind that he was. He was very clear in drs his findings. He also made sure I understood exactly what the need was and the solution. Mark was incredible.

My husband and I just had Ron come to our house to do a foundation inspection.
Ron was very professional, very informative and I would highly recommend Ron and Groundworks.
I will be promoting their company to all my friends and relatives.

These guys were much better under the Busy Dog banner. Busy dog would finish the job by putting the drywall they tear out to do their work. But groundworks will tear up your basement, do their work, then leave you with the mess and the cost of rebuilding your interior walls. I highly recommend you find a basement company that will actually finish the job they start.
After giving these guys a bunch of money, without ever being told they wouldn’t put my wall back up, I now have to go hire someone else to clean up their mess. Just awful and misleading communication.

I want to reveal how satisfied I am with the great job that the crew at ground works has completed in my basement. Starting with Alexander and his high tech equipment and knowledge on every aspect of the job. Then Patrick leading the show over brooks, Steve,Jake and Mitchell. These guys do incredible work and are very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done in their basement or home. Ty very much ground works. Shawn G.

Xander Brooks from Groundworks was just fabulous! So knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. He spent four hours inspecting my home, listening to what my concerns were, and answering all my questions. Part way thru the inspection, he asked if it would be alright for his colleague Branden, who was in the area, to stop by and see the inspection process as a learning tool. I was impressed with him wanting to share his expertise with coworkers to help improve the company. Both men had nothing but praise for Groundworks as a company. I truely feel that besides customer word of mouth, you can not get better advertising than satisfied and accomplished employees. When they finished the inspection Xander and Branden sat with me (and my dogs!) and went over their findings and recommendations for solutions. Again discussing any questions or concerns I had. They also showed me several financial plans to fit my situation. I actually learned a lot from the process. Thank you gentlemen, it was a pleasure working with you!

Joe, Matt and Mike arrived on time with great communication even before arrival! They were friendly and informative, letting us know exactly what to expect during the work. Once finished they answered all our follow up questions. We worked with Rescon previously with a great experience, I am happy to report that as joined forces Groundworks continues to be excellent to work with!

Groundworks- Ben and his team were Excellent. They came right after the major snowstorm dealt with the ice and snow to get into my basement before they could even begin the job. They were neat, clean, and polite. I was kept abreast every day as to arrival time in the mornings and the progress of the installation. Clear communication is very important to me. They made the processed appear to be seamless, And completed it in a timely manner just as they stated. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has to have any type of basement work.

Dennis is a true professional and Macro Construction kept an incredibly tight schedule. Quality work. A good GC is hard to come by but you've found it in Dennis.

Macro Construction was our first experience hiring someone to build something for us. Dennis was the only builder who sat down with us to discuss his proposal. He was professional and knowledgable. His demolition and construction crews and in particular the gentleman who did the finishing work were all very skilled. When problems occurred Dennis solved the problems immediately. If we had questions Dennis always responded promptly. In the end we were left with a beautiful sunroom that our entire family enjoys. We highly recommend Macro Construction.

In the past week, I had called you and left message more than 10 times. I had texted you a few times. I had emailed you. no response so far! There are a few works you had never finished yet. I understood you ran out of staff at that time; thus, I was willing to extend the deadline. However, after a few years, we need to get all things done by now. Please give me a call. thanks.

it is my pleasure to work with Dennis, the owner of Macro Construction. He built a new house for me, from foundation to interior finishing works. From my experience, he is a reasonable and honest person, always put customers first. I highly recommend him.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH PRAISE FOR THIS COMPANY. I HAVE USED MANY OTHER CONTRACTORS AND THERE IS NO COMPARISON. From top to bottom, we were treated with respect and good humor. We were told what was happening each step of the way, which was important because we were living in the house during the 8 month renovation. They did what they said they were going to do and they ended on time. Unheard of in this business. I highly recommend them.

I've partnered with Fresh Start for over a decade on many client projects. They are professional and deliver a high-quality result for our clients.

Fresh Start has done several projects at our school and they have always handled every project with professionalism, promptness, and great care!

I got a recommendation from a friend to use Fresh Start and had one of the worst experiences one could have with a contractor. We paid a very high price for this "all in one" firm and I would hope that no one else make the same mistake of hiring them. After not filing permit paperwork on time forcing us to delay our project for me than a year, they proceeded to use 'in house' carpenters, plasterers and painters whose work was terribly poor. Terribly crooked (irreparable) skylight cutting, plaster work that is falling apart and has had to be redone multiple times and baseboards that dont even begin to match as well as countless other basic issues were all a result of this companies incompetence and lack of accountability. Our lead designer and project manager both left the company during our 4 month project (tells you a lot about the company) and not only were we not informed of these departures but they billed us for the errors resulting from them. We also had cameras in our home to watch the 'work' being done while we were away and saw that every subcontractor worked at most a 3 hour (10am-1pm) workday. In addition to the unchangeable errors that they made the company insists on using their own subcontractors to remedy the many errors despite their proven poor track record of work. Please dont make the mistake of hiring them that we did.
