Total Comfort Mechanical installed a mini-split for my finished basement. They were very professional, explained rebates and the system very well, and were the installation was done with a high level of quality.

James came out to our home and did an amazing job. He was kind and professional and explained absolutely everything to me. He did a thorough inspection of all parts of the system. He gave his honest opinions of what could be replaced and what the rough costs were for each component plus labor. He also explained what he thought was the best option to keep our current system running at it's best, which I chose to do. He re-gassed our unit and added a startup capacitor which seems to have done the trick! The outdoor unit kicks on easily, runs quiet and consistently now. And of course the AC blows ice cold now. He even gave recommendations for future maintenance for not only the AC unit but the boiler as well. I can't recommend Total Comfort Mechanical, and James, enough!

Total Comfort Mechanical replaced my indoor Air conditioner unit and out door compressor. They arrived timely, explained their work, improved the wiring previously installed by others and explained the need for a new location for the outdoor compressor so it was up to code. They were 100% professional, protected the work area in my house and cleaned up leaving it as good or better than they found ed. It was a two day installation and Nelson returned on the 3rd day to go over the work, answer any questions I had, and review maintenance.
Totally recommend this company.

Total Comfort installed a great system and having them chin out for a complimentary system check was worth it. They checked the filters on the main heat pump and both mini- splits. They checked the voltages and made sure the units will be ready for another year.

Total Mechanical did a really good in converting our existing HVAC air conditioning system to a heat pump system for both cooling in summer and heating in winter and reducing our use of natural gas. Wendall (the owner) spent considerable time reviewing our system and within a day provided a clear and detailed estimate of the installation costs. The company did the job as promised, and helped with the government filings for partial rebates. Their work was prompt and clean. They provided a free follow up service after about 4 months, and it continues to work flawlessly. Great team to work with.

It was a very competitive proposal. Total Comfort Mechanical's crew arrived on time and updated all mechanical systems for two HVAC zones. They were knowledgeable and focused and well organized. We asked and received an expedited work schedule to keep the house cool because of the heat prior to the cooler season. We updated the HVAC 100%. because it made the most long term sense to keep it fully functional on the horizon and it was substantially complete in one day. I had a fantastic experience with Total Comfort Mechanical. My heating system failed, and their specialist, Cam, was incredibly thorough. He didn’t just guess at the problem; he tracked the entire sequence of operation to find the root cause.

Here is why I’m so impressed:
✅ Cam identified that while the igniter was working, the burners weren't lighting.
✅ He took the time to remove and deep-clean all the burners and gas orifices.
✅ He serviced the flame sensor to ensure it wouldn't fail again.
✅ Most importantly, he tested the system 10 times in a row to make sure it was 100% reliable.
