We have just had some house repairs related A/C lines covers re-installation. Total Comfort Mechanical -- our original A/C installer was contacted to do that work and handled it all wonderfully and and a fair price. The installer (technician) has done a fabulous, very thorough job. We are happy, thank you!

We haven't been a customer for very long, but have been quite happy with Total Comfort so far! We have worked with them for our heating and AC system annual maintenance. The technician who came over (Cam) was prompt, right on time, courteous- and not only did good work but took the time to educate us on our systems. The pricing was transparent and reasonable as well.

Wendell and his team recently completed the installation of several energy efficient Mitsubishi mini split AC/heating units and a very complex move of some boiler lines and the associated oil tank in advance of a basement remodel -which allowed us to really take advantage of the new space and full height of the basement ceiling prior to the remodel. They worked seamlessly with the framing, plumbing, electrical and flooring crews involved without any of my involvement which helped me save considerable time and effort as well. Communication was outstanding throughout the process and the price was very fair and reasonable. I could not be more impressed with this firm and would not hesitate to recommend them for any of your HVAC projects small or large. I highly doubt there is a better contractor out there in the Boston area for HVAC work than this firm.

Total Comfort is a great company. Polite people answer the phone and do the scheduling, the service technicians arrive on time...and sometimes the company offers you earlier appointments than originally scheduled. The service technicians are friendly, polite, thoughtful AND well trained HVAC professionals. They go out of their way to go the extra mile. Prices are reasonable too.

We had an issue with turning our mini-splits on for the summer today, and with expert, step-by-step help over the phone from Nelson (one of the original Total Comfort Mechanical installers from last spring), the problem was solved and it was super convenient. Great system, great company, great customer service!

They arrived on time, completed the job when they said they would, and cleaned up perfectly. Why is it the AC units always chose to die just as summer really digs in!? Well, that’s what happened to us. We reached out to Total Comfort Mechanical and they were amazing. James from TCM showed up the same day, earlier than expected. Walked me through all the details of what was happening with our system, and got us quickly back into on line again. Update, in the end our crazy old system just couldn’t hold it together. We just finished a project with TCM to replace the entire system. The whole job, which was huge, was executed extremely well. I highly recommend TCM.

Total Confort Mechanical is well organized company. The components are top quality, and the team is well prepared and very cordial. They installed an AC and heat pump system and a modern Ecobee thermostat which commands furnace, AC, heat pump and the humidifier. Everything works flawlessly. Highly recommended.

Wendell & his team have done a fantastic job in replacing my 2-zone AC/heating units & compressors. The work was done on time and within budget. Wendell & his team did a meticulous job within 3 days despite the rainy weather. He went above & beyond my expectations. Total Comfort Mechanical undertook a major upgrade of our gas furnace and air conditioning system. At the same time, they also performed a huge clean-up and simplification of our tangled ductwork in the basement, which had become an issue over the course of four decades of additions and modifications. Previous to this big project, TCM had come to our house for maintenance and a couple of relatively minor service calls. They had always impressed us with their responsiveness as well as their honesty in diagnosing an issue without trying to upsell the solution. When quoting our big project, Wendell was very communicative and helpful, providing us with multiple alternatives to achieve our goals within our budget. His employees were extremely professional and hardworking. We strongly recommend Total Comfort Mechanical.

We've used Total Comfort Mechnical for many years now. They've been excellent to deal with. Every time a technician has come, we felt like they knew their stuff and were honest with us. They weren't being salesy. They installed our whole house humidifier several years ago and the install went great. They've also serviced our older AC unit several times. From the receptionist to the technician to the owner Wendell, they are a great company to work with. Highly recommended!
