Wonderful experience, first time using this company but it will not be the last! Two very pleasant and knowledgeable plumbers. It was time to update our main toilet of 25 years and the men suggested a Kohler, which we encouraged. We have never been disappointed with any Kohlet product.

I had a positive experience with the company, specifically with Dan Smith-Hamilton, who conducted an inspection to ensure there were no water leaks due to a high bill. He also disconnected the dishwasher and provided clear explanations throughout the process. I am very grateful for his assistance.

SLOPPY COMPANY.
I called Yankee Home Plumbing about a week before Thanksgiving 2025 to get an estimate for what it would cost to have an extra gas line run up from our furnace and water heater in the basement up about 10' to the floor of our kitchen to install a gas stove. Internet said the cost would be $200-$400...

On Monday, November 24, someone (I'll leave his name out to be nice...he certainly was a kind person...) came to the house and looked through the basement to get an accurate estimate, and he promised me he'd get it to me soon. He left his card, and I thought nothing more of it other than the fact that the estimate might be a week instead of a few days, as it was Thanksgiving week. I did say I wanted an estimate soon, however, as I was trying to get the work done before Christmas so I could have the stove installed prior to the Christmas holiday (as a present to my wife). The gentleman said it would probably be a few hundred dollars, but not too bad. Before leaving, he again promised an estimate soon.

On Black Friday, November 28, I sent a text to the gentleman and asked for an estimate, but said no worries if he wasn't working on Black Friday. I sent another text on December 1. To date (Dec. 8) I still haven't had a response from him.

Last week, on Thursday, now a full 10 days after the visit, still not having an estimate, I decided to call Yankee Plumbing to let them know I still didn't have an estimate. I was promised one by the end of the day or the next day, Friday, December 5.

Well, the estimate came in today, finally! AND GUESS WHAT? They sent me an estimate for $2,345!!! A job that the internet says should run somewhere between $200-$400 at most is only off by $2,000.

I'm sure that they sent the wrong estimate, but it makes the point...this is a sloppy company. Gonna stay away, and you might need to as well.

A crew of courteous and professional guys showed up even earlier than expected. Alessandro was very transparent about what was going on. Highly recommended.

Alessandro impressed me as one of the smartest plumbers I have come across. He diagnosed and solved two plumbing problems for me which other plumbers were unable to do. He is also a good communicator and makes clear what will be done and at what cost. I will recommend him to my neighbors and friends.

I encourage if you are in the market for plumbing needs, stay away from this company. For 10 minutes of work, I was charged $445. As this was a new tenant, and I needed to have this resolved immediately, I waited for them to show up so when finally did call me that he was on the way was when they finally told me the cost. Had they told me the cost at 8am when I called, I would have absolutely said no and called around. But there was no way to find someone new to go since it was 2pm already. Now that I know the ridiculous prices, I'll never use them again. I encourage people use whoever you want, but know there a plumbers in the area that are good, efficient, and much more affordable. See my receipt for your proof along with the job that cost me $444.

NEW HOUSE- Alessandro was very professional and thorough. He spotted the issue and fixed the problem. Alessandro knew what to do the correct way and even showed us on camera what was going on while he worked on unclogging the system. We are both very grateful and highly recommend Yankee Home Plumbing 100%

We have had countless folks come to our home for repairs, landscaping, new roof etc.. Alessandro is absolutely the nicest, most professional and efficient person we've had for any type of work. He took the time to be sure our 'new' plumbing purchase worked perfectly in our 'older' plumbing situation. He also explained what we would need for a bathroom plumbing issue as well. When we are ready to do that, I will definitely be calling on Alessandro

Alesandro arrived on time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed my leak, offered recommendations without pushing anything that was not needed. He explained the work needed with the price and performed the work in a timely manner. He cleaned the work area when finished and took all of the old parts with him for disposal. I highly recommend him without hesitation!!

Dan explains the different ways a problem can be fixed. He checks out each issue thoroughly and then gives you a price. Dan is very approachable with questions I had, he had the jobs finished quickly and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Dan for your plumbing problems.

I had a needed a new shower installed and Yankee Home was who my wife contacted and they were outstanding and most professional, Glenn and Christian were on time very professional and listened to out concerns and they both did a Fantastic Job. My Wife and I are very happy with the Shower install. Todd Hosford also stopped by just to check in with us and He was also most Professional. Yankee Home will be getting another call from us when we renovate our 2nd bathroom. I highly recommend you give them a call if you have any home renovation needs
