My husband thought it was a good idea to save money, use the fireplace and turn the heat down. Well our basement got too cold and froze our pipes which cracked. We didn't notice the leaks so it all just sort of got soggy and sat down there. Our basement wasn't finished, more of a cellar so we didn't notice anything until it started to smell, musty like always but super strong. We had Green Restoration come check it out. Since there were obviously signs something needed to be done we had them start drying the area and protecting the rest of our house which they were able to start immediately. They found people to take care of everything for us, even a plumber to replace the pipes. They also helped us deal with our insurance so we didn't make any mistakes on the paperwork or anything that could let them deny us on a tecnicality or something. We are definitely going to call them when we can afford to finish the basement.
Review part 1: inspection. (I'll update when service complete) While they did show up a few minutes late, they actually called ahead to inform me they were running late. Bonus point for communication. Upon arrival, I'm appreciative that there was no assumed handshake, but rather a very small fistbump, due to concerns of the current corona risks. Extra consideration for going in and out of different peoples houses all day. Inspection itself was smooth, they wore booties on their shoes to not track anything around, took notes, pictures, measurements, answered my questions, and even examined rooms that had no visible mold just because e mentioned the odor. In other words, they were thorough. So far, so good.
Jeremy and William did an excellent job. They promised my house would look like they were never here and it was better than that. They were honest and very helpful. Melissa, the girl in the office, was very knowledgeable and polite. She helped me through the process so I wasn’t stressed and always kept me up to date. Thank you guys for caring and helping me get my home back.
Great service! I used GRG again for carpet and upholstery cleaning and they did a spectacular job! Both times their stuff was very professional and they were very polite. The cost was an average to what we paid last year when we used different company but GRG using only environmental friendly products and we can tell a difference right away. We will always use their services and recommend to our family and friends.
