I called Monroe in the morning about a boiler problem and a technician came in the afternoon even though we have never used their service before. The technician Keith quickly identified the problem, got the parts, and fixed it all in the same day so i got heat. He is very professional and efficient. I am very satisfied with the service.

Nearly impossible to get a call back from office on status of job. Called over 10 times requesting update and although assured by customer service team that office would call back as soon as possible, 9 out of 10 times did not receive a response

Initial service was excellent. My water heater was replaced within 24hrs of calling.

But.. my old heater was under warranty and I have not been able to get Monroe to either submit the warranty claim or respond to calls about the issue. I have been calling for about 7 months at this point.

Overall, I am disappointed with the office support and am out a good bit of $$'s on the warranty.

** I see your response that you have called HTP, but HTP website does not allow homeowner to submit (I tried) and you have not called me to inform me of anything. I still feel that you have failed to include or inform me.

Called at 11:15am on Sunday for emergency toilet leak. Was told no problem a technician would be in touch shortly. Called again at 1:45pm and was told they would get in touch technician and have him call with eta. This now 6:45pm on Wednesday and still waiting for eta. Would not recommend them for any work never mind for emergency service. Should not advertise open 24 hours if you are going to ignore people. Glad I called someone else I would be awfully tired of going to the gas station down the street to use the bathroom for 4 days. Emergency service my a..!! I apologize if this wasn’t your company but this was the name I had written down and I thought that was the number I called. If it wasn’t you again I apologize

Had to update my previous positive review. They went from what I thought was professional to totally unprofessional.
I was having a problem with my two year old furnace cutting out on me. They worked on this same issue last season but the problem persists. They came and worked on it again this year. They determined it might be a bad pressure switch and replaced it. No change. Then the told me that, according to Lenox (manufacturer) they would need to change the water trap to an OEM Lenox water trap (really?) The tech said he would return with the new water trap. He acknowledged that I may not have heat in the meantime but would be back in a couple of days.
A week came and went. No tech, no calls. I called the office, left messages. No response. Another week. I made more calls. Left messages that this was an emergency. No response from Monroe. They just decided to give up on the problem and worse, to not even communicate with me again - knowing I had no heat.
    Unbelievable and unprofessional.

Called twice during the day to have my heat / HVAC repaired. I voiced I have a pregnant wife as well and did not get one call back or any sort of communication back. VERY unprofessional and would not bother trying with this company ever again. There’s a call center they out you through who are completely useless and can’t give you any helpful information. Terrible customer service.

I would advise caution in using this service. I had plumbing work done - the fix failed shortly thereafter and I spent the rest of the day trying to get any response or followup as to when the technician could return- no response of any kind despite 5 attempts.

Previously I used Monroe and was happy with the service they provided. I don't know if they hired a new tech since then but I was quite disappointed with my recent experience. I had them come out for yearly maintenance on my water heater/ furnace. I was told it just needed a filter cleaned and I was good. A couple of days later I noticed that there was water dripping intermittently from the water heater.

I asked them to come back out and look at it again since something was clearly wrong. They came out and left after telling my fiance that maybe since they used water to spray the filter clean it might just have been that leaking.

When I came home from work I noticed we had no hot water and after examining the heater myself noticed that all the power switches were left turned off. Not only was the external "light switch" for the heater left off, but I had to unscrew the cover and go inside the heater to turn that switch back on as well.

Since then the water heater has dripped intermittently, and I've needed to turn it off and on again because the heat cut out again.

The sheer fact that they left my heater turned off in the middle of winter is pretty appalling behavior. I will be calling someone else to service my heater in the future.
