Very honest guy. I had tripped the circuit breaker in 2 rooms in the house and I tried to reset it but it didnt work. He came and somehow reset it for me. Yes, I was dumb which is why I said he was an honest guy. He came just to do a free estimate on a possible blown fuse on the circuit breaker, but with this simple task, he didn't charge me. Thank you. I will certainly call you when I need an electrician.

If there were something below 1 star I would give it , These guys are not responsible or honest , I hired them and paid them full payment to replace our Electric panel with a permit from the town , they never come to check or make inspection before start working , they change the panel in one day (regardless of any code or standard) and when they apply for a permit all their work fail to pass the permit inspection , plus he didn’t want to fix or change the panel issues after he talk with the inspector just said ( I am off this job) , not answering our calls/text after took the money !!! And now I have to hire another electrician to fix/replace the whole panel , not responsible , not professional

I needed a simple diagnosis, electricians around the area have done free to $70/80 cost for diagnosis. This guy comes and doesn’t tell me any quotes and diagnoses in 45 mins and says I owe him $250..and that is on his website (which it’s not when I checked). He also diagnosed it incorrectly, telling me I needed to change the entire wiring system which was incorrect after another electrician came and fixed the issue.
Any business without honesty and integrity is not a business I recommend anyone deal with.

Our company has been using Ron McMahon as our electrician for years now. He has always been reliable, professional, and reasonable. He gets work done in a timely manner, and always exceeds our expectations. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician without a doubt.

I contacted McMahon Electric for an estimate on replacing and updating my entire electrical service to code from the National Grid power attachment thru to replacing the old fuse panels with circuit breakers on my 3 family house. He told me one additional new electric meter and National Grid account was also required.
His written estimate was reasonable and the job was scheduled for the next week.
Ron showed up on the agreed day with his crew and removed all the old lines meter boxes and fuse panels. Now I have nice new input lines and meter boxes on the outside and new circuit breaker boxes on a plywood base inside. The entire job was completed in one day with minimal power outage to the 3 units. Later the code inspector approved the work and National Grid issued the new meter and replaced the old service line to the telephone poll on the street with a new service line. I am happy with the quality of work and would recommend McMahon Electric to others.

I called Ron and left a message that I needed some work done pretty quickly. He called me back within 15 minutes, scheduled for later that day and showed up on time. All work was completed neatly and efficiently. Very nice guy. Reasonably priced. Knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone who is looking for an awesome electrician!
