I highly recommend Linares Electric. They were quick to respond and appear at my home. Very professional and knowledgeable. Diagnosed my electrical problems and fixed them quickly. Definitely going to use Linares Electric in the future.

German was great, very professional. Explained the work he was doing and how long it would take. He cleaned up after his work and left the rooms as he found them. Hope I don’t need more electrical work but if I do German will be my first call.

Background - I needed a simple switch swap out/ replacement. Even though work was very simple , the switch was connected to both exhaust fan and lights , I don’t want to risk and thought would leave it to expert to handle it and posted in thumbtack with a very detailed description and photos . Date 17-Apr-2025.
First off good things -
Very responsive , punctual and professional and no dispute on work quality or anything

My concerns

I spoke to the person explained things and they said $99 for trouble shooting and will be waived if hired .

Fast forward , person arrived on time inspected and then to my surprise said that they have a minimum of two hour time slot and is going to cost me $397 (I don’t remember the exact amount but approx $400) . So this essentially means that for a 5 minutes job I was told that it would cost $400.
My concern - a little transparency and honesty would have been nice and I am happy to pay and extra 100 or 150 but a if they had this minimal $400 policy they should have informed me earlier

So for the benefit of others ,especially if it is a very small work be sure to ask for an estimate and get the details of estimated cost to avoid a shock from the bill .

What I did was just paid that $99. Got another vendor from thumbtack. He gave me the details breakdown and estimate and got the job done in 3 minutes .

German was great. We had an emergency service when the conduit pulled off our house and he came out the same day and took care of everything quickly. Very professional and great to work with.

Linares electrician thoroughly answered my questions and gave options for repairs. I felt very comfortable and the service was excellent.

Called on a Friday afternoon, they had a technician, German, come out on Monday morning. Professional, communicative, and a great experience having them do our electrical work. German was awesome, from ensuring his work area was neat and tidied up afterwards, to being very communicative and honest about the various options we had and which to strongly consider for our home. He also pointed out an issue with some of our smoke detectors and was able to schedule another visit that afternoon to fix them up. Overall we had a great experience with Linares and would call them again in a heartbeat!

German was very knowledgeable in his job. Kept me informed in all aspects of the installation. I liked having him do all the installations in our house. If I need other work I would like him to do it .

I've been getting hit with their ads on FB nonstop, so I submitted a request to get an EV charger installed at my house. No response. Apparently they are too busy, so don't even bother.

German was great! Explained everything, no sales pressure and replaced my smoke and CO alarms without incident.

The is the 2nd time I used Linares Electric. 1st time was a light fixture install in ceiling. Second time was for recessed ceiling lights in kitchen and livingroom plus fan install in kitchen. Excellent service and quality of work! Very reasonably priced, personable & skilled electrician. I highly recommend Linares!

We replaced all the 19 wall outlets and all switches with Linares Electric.
German did a great job and I loved the result overall.
Not only did he resolve a “burnt” wall outlet - he also explained me the technical details of what makes a solid long term electrical outlet.

German did the job very quickly. He also helped us move the furniture to reach outlets.

I rarely write reviews, but am compelled to do so for Dave and his crew as the exceeded all of my expectations. Dave was professional, reliable, and communicative from the first phone call to his last service appt.l He has raised the bar for all other electricians, and I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of an exceptional electrician.

Dave Cushing was very responsive via phone and email. Quote was provided that same evening. Requested work was to install a new power outlet in the bathroom.

Jeff was the technician that came out (right on time too). Very knowledgeable guy. We had originally thought there would be a lot of cutting through drywall, but Jeff found a very elegant solution that only required drilling one tiny hole in the drywall.

Happy to do business with Cushing again.

Excellent service, extremely competent and customer focused. We had an open neutral fault and Dave showed up on the same day, diagnosed the problem, called electric company on our behalf and started fixing our disabled systems. He and Jeff had our complex systems up and running within 48 hours. They were able to find the parts from different vendors and as far as CA and only replaced necessary parts and fixed others. We felt very taken care of and treated with the utmost respect and importance. I highly recommend Cushing electric.

Dave & his crew installed recessed LED lights in our basement along with replacement of several light fixtures. They did a great job with great attention to detail (all done in one day). Dave was thoughtful in the approach to the project and gave us all possible scenarios. He was very responsive to queries/problems and was on time for all the appointments. We highly recommend Cushing Electric.

When we decided to do a full kitchen renovation, we knew we had to hire a reputable electrician. Cushing Electric came highly recommended on a local Facebook page. Having worked with David Cushing for the past month, I can see why. David always anwered my phone calls/texts no matter how late. He always was friendly and never got impatient with my crazy questions or requests. David also has a great sense of humor, making it fun to work with him. I had a long list of superlatives that I had been compiling for when I had an electrician come to wire the kitchen. David gave me an organized and fair estimate. I even ran the estimate by my electrician friend and he agreed that it was reasonable. After my boyfriend and I demo’d the kitchen, we were faced with a couple of extra fixes that were required to pass inspection. At that point we received a final estimate which is the number we paid when the job was complete-no surprises. I also should mention that the crew we worked with from Cushing Electric was also awesome. They were respectful, professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would use Cushing Electric again and would highly recommend them to anyone.
