Extremely unprofessional. We set up a time to meet the owner, Andrew, at our house. I drove 40 mins from work specifically for the one-hour initial consultation and was going to have to go back to work after. Since I was running a few mins late, I emailed Andrew shortly before our scheduled meeting time to inform him that. Then, 5 mins after the scheduled meeting time, got a call from him that he "just got out of a meeting that ran late" and was 50 mins away. So he was going to be one hour late to a one-hour meeting. So he either totally forgot about the meeting, or if he didn't, had zero respect for other people's time. Needless to say we will not be working with this company and if you don't want to waste your own time like I did, stay away.

My property has a bad oriental bittersweet infestation that was destroying the trees that provided a barrier between my house and the road. I reached out to Green Abundance By Design and they surveyed my land and came up with a long term plan to remove the bittersweet and restore the vegetation in the area.

They came with a team to do phase 1 in the fall and targeted the worst of the bittersweet and prepared the land for a phase 2 foliar application in the summer. The team was efficient and professional and were able to cover an area that would have taken me months alone. I'm excited to continue working with them to re-establish the area to a healthy state.

Andrew and his team were a dream to work with. While most contractors and landscaping customers are difficult to get in touch with and slow to respond during these times, Andrew is professional, prompt, and responsive from the first interaction through the completion of the project. He listened to exactly what we wanted and he and his team brought our suburban pollinator garden dreams to life. He and his team are knowledgeable, creative, hard-working and friendly and delivered exactly what we discussed. Can't recommend them enough!

I used Green Abundance by Design to get rid of a really annoying invasive plant problem, and they did not disappoint! They were able to remove all of the invasive plants without negatively impacting the other shrubs, and none of it has grown back. 10 out of 10 recommend. These guys are amazing!

As we head into the heart of spring clean up and other lawn work, I can't recommend Green Abundance by Design any more highly than I do. Here's why:

1. Great communication--When they say they are going to be there, they are. If you have any questions, they give you thoughtful answers that aren't just an upsell in disguise.

2. Great service--we use them for end of season leaf work as well as invasive plant management. Everything was done top notch and really opened up our yard.

3. Environmentally conscious--they think carefully about that aspect of yard care, and have options for those of you who want to factor that in to lawn plans. They are not a "drop chemicals and go" company.

4. Locally owned and community oriented- No one loves to spend money, but I'm always happier when I know that the $ I give is staying here and they give back to the towns they work in.

With intentional care from Green Abundance By Design, our bi-annual yard clean up was fantastic. Through invasive plant management, mulching and spring pruning, they did an amazing job caring for our space.

We've been customers of Green Abundance for the last three years and couldn't be more pleased with the work that they've done in our yard! Green Abundance has been our go-to landscaping company when it comes to fall clean up. Unlike many landscaping companies that take one pass and haul away the dead leaves, Green Abundance gathers up the leaves and mulches them. Nothing is hauled away to be dumped elsewhere. Instead, they spread the mulched leaves around trees and plantings to fertilize where it's needed most. The company remains true to their ecological principles and does a thorough job in the process. They come when they say they will and charge what they quote you. We can't recommend them enough!

We have used them for years and could not be happier! Andrew, Mike and the team are always professional, thoughtful and thorough. They have done everything from fall and winter cleanups to creating a wildflower meadow from scratch. They pay and treat their employees well and we're happy to support such a wonderful local company.

In 2019 I engaged Green Abundance By Design to do a comprehensive invasive plant management with a strategic herbicide application on my property. They were very thorough and the team was careful when moving through the landscape to not damage or disturb “good” plants. After they were done, I was given a tour to show me where the worst invasive plants had been, and where I had native plants on the property, several that I was totally unaware of that had been smothered by invasive plants. I appreciated how much they taught me about my own property. The following Spring I saw native plants & trees flourish as they never had before. Several previously strangled trees have gone on to have very strong bloom seasons and I've had Green Abundance back to do tree pruning. I'm now on an invasive plant maintenance program with them which has allowed native plants to thrive in my yard, even though my property is surrounded by neighbors who still have invasive plants. I really like their extensive plant & ecology knowledge and their no pressure approach.

We filled out the form to inquire about invasive plant removal, and received an email back from Mike, a project manager, asking us to take photos and measure the area for removal. We were very busy with work and couldn't answer the request immediately, but then were sent a reminder a few weeks later. We responded that we would fulfill the request, and proceeded to take photos and measure the area. We then received an email that said that we had "missed the window of opportunity" to get rid of these plants, and that we should respond back in the winter to think about 2025 services. In none of these emails did Mike mention that there was a time window for these requests, very poor communication and I doubt we're going to utilize these services in the future.

Green Abundance by Design is an outstanding and unique landscaping company--highly recommended for both invasive plant species management and landscaping design and installation with native plants. Andrew and his team are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and thorough. I have an older property that needed a lot of work to manage invasive plants and replace with native plants, and I could not be happier with their work.

Andrew and his crew removed invasive (Burning Bushes and more), and replaced with deer-resistant, environmentally friendly plantings late last summer. Their work was fast, efficient, effective, and we felt a great trust in both the work and the workers. This spring, we've had them mulch our extensive garden beds...something we've always done ourselves. Again, the crew was attuned to our concerns and the nuances of our particular needs. They were efficient, knowledgable, thoughtful, tidy and took pride in their work. I recommend them highly!.

Hired Green Abundance by Design to do my fall cleanup. They showed up when they said they would and did a great job cleaning up the leaves and shredding them and putting them back down in the shrub beds as mulch. The yard looks amazing.

We couldn't be more pleased with both the design and execution of our native plant-based garden by Andrew and his team. Andrew was extremely thoughtful and highly creative in his approach to our plan and the resulting plant selections and layout were exactly what we were hoping for as we convert useless lawn to a flourishing native garden and eradicating multiple invasives. We felt strongly about supporting a local business and bonus points were earned for making the entire process downright enjoyable.
