We had several large projects completed by Monteiro and Sons this past fall. The crew met all our expectations and more. Everyone was professional, courteous, hard working snd extremely talented. No detail was missed and the end results are impeccable. We can’t wait for the spring to enjoy our new walkway surrounded by beautiful flowers, to use my new vegetable garden enclosure and enjoy our expanded backyard with our new retaining wall! Many, many thanks to the Monteiro family and their amazing crew of skilled workers!!

I had an excellent experience in all respects with this team. Doug was highly communicative, creative, and very responsive. He was able to sketch some ideas on the spot and listen to my suggestions. Doug also followed up during the project when design decisions came up, and frequently kept in touch with me to make sure I was happy with the work.

The job was massive, including removal of buried concrete, old steps, tree stumps, two old retaining walls, small boulders, and other hidden rubble buried on a slope along the side of the house. Much of this was not visible when they started the job, but with some extra people they kept up the schedule.

They installed beautiful new walkway to a set of granite steps, complemented by 3 new retaining walls, new drain pipes, new masonry wall around a window and door, a cute flower bed, and re-pointing the old bricks along the side of the house.

In the middle of the project, they agreed to also replace the dilapidated old front porch with matching granite steps and matching walkway. Even though this was not on the original plan, they again added some skilled workers to keep things moving along.

The team was really hard-working, putting in solid full days even in the June/July heat-wave. It was a pleasure watching a group of skilled masons and landscapers turn this 125 year-old house into a beautiful home I'm proud to own.

Amilcar can do it all, from cutting grass, servicing irrigation systems & even cleaning gutters of built up leaf debris as well as power washing the pollen from our the deck & siding, always very well priced for all his services.

The work exceeded our expectations- very happy with the garden beds. Would highly recommend Amilcar and will certainly use this company again.

Since I have moved to Framingham, Amilcar, has been extremely helpful. From cutting the grass, to cutting trees, aerating and seeding the yard and even fixing our fence. By far the most honest landscaper in the area. Highly recommend.

Amilcar and his team are great! He is responsive, fast and honest. He was able to take what I wanted (which was probably unclear as a first time homeowner) and exceed expectations. He was upfront about what would look best and the cost for "extras". He also identified that our steps were uneven and constructed the walkway so that the stair height would be even. I can't say enough good things about the end result. It's better than I could have imagined. The curb appeal of our house went up exponentially. The grass is growing in and it just looks perfect!

Couldn't say enough nice things about Amilcar! I contacted him last minute for a one time lawn mow and he promptly replied. Amilcar was very accommodating and set up time for the same day to come by and provide a quote. Reasonable pricing and takes great pride in his work. Went above and beyond with my lawn that was really in need of some care. Amilcar is awesome and I highly recommend. Will contact him again in the future. Thank you Amilcar!

I never write reviews but Amilcar deserves one!

First, the background. Being new to the area, I had already hired another company for fall cleanup (leaves, brush, etc). After weeks and weeks of waiting they finally came, did nothing, and left. They couldn't give me a timeline for when they would come back and then they started dodging my calls altogether.

It was now December and a snow storm was coming so I needed the leaves gone ASAP. I've seen Amilcar's truck in the neighborhood before and I had taken a picture of it to have his contact information so I decided to call him. He came out to my house just 2hrs later, gave me a quote I was happy with, and immediately started the job.

I couldn't be happier with Amilcar's fast response time, open and honest communication, and, of course, how clean my yard looks. THANK YOU!

I am very happy with Amilcar's work. He is thorough and pleasant to interact with. He has cut our grass for the past three years, making our lawn beautiful. He has also trimmed hedges and winterized our irrigation system. I would highly recommend him.

Amilcar and his crew were beyond professional, timely and thorough! Our old slab patio was replaced with a gorgeous paver stone patio. They completed the project in less than two days with much thought and expertise. The color pattern and design are very attractive and the edging work was done with lovely detail. I would highly recommend hiring his team! Amilcar's pricing was also very reasonable and affordable!! 5 star rating and beyond!

Amilcar has done spring and fall cleanups, lawn care, aerating and recently a large cleanup that involved clearning a large overgrown area. Amilcar is super responsive, he'll often be available withing a day or two. His work has been excellent and he has fair prices. I've been very happy with him and would definitely recommend him to others.

Horrible service. I have used him for years and paid in cash/check at first, then switched to Zelle/Venmo. I had to use PayPal to pay for the first time, Amilcar went nuts. He claims he does not have Paypal account but there is a PayPal account with his business name and phone number. He refuses to call PayPal to reject the payment or close the account properly too. He wants to charge me extra $50 but wont call PayPal for my refund. What nonsense! Is this business doing something illegal??? Why can’t they call PayPal.
