Our gas-powered furnace has shown the same error message for the past three winters, and the prior company we used couldn’t identify the issue. A friend who knows the owners highly recommended Pro Comfort Control, so we called them.

When our furnace completely stopped working today, Mike from Pro Comfort arrived within an hour. He identified the root cause of the long-running problem and had it fixed in under half a day. Communication throughout was top-notch; he answered all of our questions clearly and kept us in the loop the entire time. I highly recommend Pro Comfort Control!

Pro Comfort was able to replace my broken furnace with an excellent dual-fuel system at a reasonable price in very little time, providing a thorough explanation of the optimality of their recommendation and its impact on heating costs. Their technicians did a flawless job installing the unit exactly on schedule, and it has worked literally perfectly since; they are serious about their craft to a degree rarely seen, and it shows in everything from their fine workmanship to the time they take to detail maintenance best practices going forward. Overall a splendid experience, perfect in every particular.

These guys are the best! They helped me navigate the mass save tenanted process and worked within my budget to help get me the best mini split system for my home. We ended up with a Hyper heat 4 head unit system and I couldn’t be happier. One of the heads is in a separate in-law/airbnb unit and they worked around my schedule for the install when the unit was available. They also spent time with me to get all the units setup on my WiFi network and made sure everything was working perfectly. We did the initial install in Aug 2023 and they’ve been working great. I just had the team back for a normal schedule maintenance and had them deep clean two of the heads. Shout out to PAT who remembered all the aspects of the original job and came back to do the maintenance call/cleaning. Super awesome and honest team. Can’t recommend them enough! I’ll definitely continue to have them do our cleanings and replace our water heater when the time comes. Thx guys!

I just had a whole house conversion from oil to heat pumps and I would highly recommend Pro Comfort Control to anyone and everyone. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They came on time both days, cleaned up before they left and did a pristine job! They wore covers over their shoes so they wouldn’t track any dirt throughout the house. They are very knowledgeable and professional and do fantastic work. This is a well run company from top to bottom. The owner Ryan was also very honest and up front and a pleasure to work with. He has put together a great team of hard workers who are not only very good at what they do but work well with each other. I can’t say enough of how pleased I am. Thank you all!

Pro Comfort is great. Said came out in February for the annual heating inspection. He was confident, knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. He recommended some necessary maintenance for the furnace and returned to complete that work on Monday, March 2nd. The office staff that scheduled the appointments was also great. Pat and Thad replaced my furnace. They were very friendly and professional, and they did a fantastic job. They rerouted some things and explained to me what and why. They also gave me good advice on maintaining the system. Also, everything looked much better, including the vents outside the house. Before that, Ryan came to check out the furnace, and he too was very friendly and professional. I'm really happy with their work, and I would recommend them to anybody.

Ryan and his team are fantastic and very professional. We converted from oil heat to mini splits, and both Ryan and Pat were very knowledgeable, professional, and did everything they could to ensure we were satisfied with the project from start to finish. They were punctual on both days and did a great job at clean up- true “white glove” service. The electricians and contractors they used to complete other parts of the job were also great and efficient. Would highly recommend these guys! Genuine craftsmanship and professionalism you often don’t get these days.

Update 2/11: Our heat is working and the company has really been committed to making sure this problem is fully resolved. I’m thankful.

Update 2/9: It seems that when the owner wasn’t getting back to us yesterday, it was because he hadn’t received the message and didn’t realize that our heat still wasn’t working. They were kind and apologetic on my last phone call and were at our condo first thing this morning to fix the problem. Hoping it will be resolved after today.

Original review 2/8/26:
We spent almost 14K for a brand new heat pump system, and it is still not working, 4 days later, in the dead of winter.

We saw the good reviews and called this company when the heat in our condo stopped working last week. I was hoping someone could come out and repair our system, but the person who first came wasn’t a technician himself. He assessed the situation, and advised that due to the age of our unit, it probably wouldn’t be worth the time and cost of trying to fix it. He said they could install a new system the next morning. Given the time pressure, I didn’t feel we had another good option, so we went ahead with it (which I truly regret now).

My husband was around for most of the installation day, but had to run out towards the end to do an errand, so he wasn’t there when the technicians left. But it soon became clear that the heat wasn’t working properly.

We have been back and forth with the company for days. We were told to change settings with nothing actually working. Finally, the owner himself came out with a technician yesterday evening. They worked on it for about an hour and it was blowing hot air by the end. But then this morning, it was cold again.

We contacted the owner this morning saying we just want to return the unit at this point and haven’t heard back. This has been the biggest (most expensive!) headache ever.
