We have a great experience to maintain our yard with Roger B Sturgis over 10 years now.

I have had Sturgis do fall cleanup for years and they have always been excellent in every way. They blow about an acre of thick dead leaves into the woods, the only landscaping service I use.

I spent a day staying at home (instead of going to work) for John and his colleague to come to my house and give me an estimate on my yard project. They showed up and they looked very enthusiastic and promised to give me a quote within few days. They left and I never heard back from them again! I tried to reach John couple of times but each time the secretary said he is in a meeting! or I will let him know you called but I never got any call back. Just my project was delayed for a week unnecessarily waiting for them to get back to me. Luckily I found another landscaping company and they took care of the job within few days and in a very organized manner.

For the last several years Rame from Roger Sturgis has been assigned to cut our grass and maintain our lawn and he has been outstanding. He uses a careful eye to assess our lawn needs and always checks in to make sure he provides the service in the way we want. If it was just him, I would give 5 stars. However,
I only gave 4 stars because we also use Sturgis for winter plowing and it took several months to get the lawn repaired from plow damage. This was unusual however. Normally they are very prompt. One other disappointment was that the amount and overspray of salt thrown down on the driveway during the winter damaged many of our plants which did not survive. We may choose not to have this feature next winter.

I have used Sturgis for lawn care, snow removal and one emergency tree removal for 14 years. Overall I have been satisfied with the service. As one can expect there have been a few occasional issues over the years, but they have always been resolved to my satisfaction. I have and will in the future recommend them.

Excellent experience for over five years. Crews and office respond 24/7 during snow storms, which is unusual in my experience. Gardeners are knowledgeable regarding distinguishing between perennials and weeds. Good at pruning.

We've used Roger Sturgis Associates for the past three years to prune the mature trees, shrubs, and bushes on our property. They send out a team of two knowledgeable, professional, and courteous employees to do the job, and we've been very pleased with the quality of service they provide. Their one downside is the difficulty in scheduling a date ahead of time. For whatever reason, it takes often multiple calls to get them to commit to a date. Perhaps they schedule in the really big jobs first, but you need to be persistent. The outcome is worth it.

When calling, his mailbox was full like someone else mentioned, but I texted him instead and he got back to me right away. He came out as scheduled to give me an estimate and performed the work we agreed upon for the cost we discussed and it was a great price! They are all hard workers, friendly and professional. I am happy with the work they did in my yard and I would definitely recommend Marcelo and his crew!

Marcelo S. is the owner of MS Landscape Group and he is extremely professional. He is responsive to both email communication and text messages. This company worked on my yard last season (2023) and did excellent work. I made sure to hire them again for this year (2024) because I was impressed and they were reliable. I never had to worry about them showing up to mow. This year, I emailed Marcelo for an update about when he would do our spring cleanup and first mow and he got back to me right away. He also made sure to put me on the schedule asap. I have hired a couple landscaping companies in the past, and MS Landscape is definitely the best I have ever worked with. They are professional, responsive, and their prices are very reasonable. I can't recommend this crew enough!
