If you live on Cape Ann and have a problem with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher,, washing machine or dryer. Third time lucky for me! Call these guys let them know the error codes or problem. They come with an intelligent idea, the diagnostic tools and the parts and they will be honest with you. Have had old Kenmore washer and dryer fixed and a burner on a GE stove.burner fixed for very reasonable prices and saving me hundreds They will let you know if its not worth a fix. Arrived on time for washing machine repair. Found the problem in no time and replaced necessary parts. Couldn't be happier and would definitely use them again if necessary.

1st Choice is wonderful, but the time to wait for an appointment when you have a critical appliance that is broken is very long. I hope this great local business is able to grow and hire more technicians so that the wait can be reduced.

If you need appliance service, this is the place to call! I left a message for Rose and received a call back within the hour. I explained the issue, and she quickly identified the part I needed and placed the order right away. She also scheduled my service appointment just a few days later.

Tony arrived, fully prepared, and had my washer up and running in less than 20 minutes. He was kind, respectful, and incredibly professional throughout the entire visit.

Very prompt with their scheduling and in notifying of arrival time. Honest in their assessment of condition of my washing machine. Told me not worth putting money into it- could last a week or a year. Pleased with his honesty and the bill!

Tony and the folks at 1st Choice were knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. They also do a great job communicating arrival times (including texting ahead when on their way). Our fridge was losing coldness because on the freezer side it wasn't defrosting properly. On their first visit, they assessed the issue and defrosted it enough to keep us going until their second visit, when they replaced the control board (and we also had them replace the ice maker that hasn't worked in years).

They were a pleasure to work with, and so we called them again a little over a month later to fix our dishwasher as well. They got it running again for the time being, but were honest enough to point out that in the long term it will cost the same amount for a permanent fix as it would cost to replace the entire unit. (Some companies would have been happy to just do the repair instead of giving an honest assessment.)

Reliable, friendly, very experienced. Fixed my frozen refrigerator and got the water/ice dispenser on door to work again. Highly recommend.

We were having problems with both our washer and dryer. 1st Choice responded to our call for service promptly. They were punctual, the diagnostics Tony performed on our washer and dryer were thorough. Communications were excellent. The repairs fixed the problems with both machines at a fair price. Tony and Alfredo were pleasant to have in the house. Overall, our experience with 1st Choice Appliance Repair was very positive!
