I didn't know much about tree work when I was looking for a company to take a down a tree that had been covered in vines when I bought my house. Fortunately Collins was one of the 3 companies I called because Steve was not only the most professional, but also the most thorough while still giving a fair and reasonable estimate. He showed up in a clearly marked truck, was personable, and I could tell from his attention to detail during the estimate that he would treat my property as if it were his own.

He and his crew showed up right on time for the job and got right to work. They were even careful enough to lay down plywood to prevent any damage to the grass near the area where they'd be working. They made quick work of the tree, chipped and disposed of all brush. In all honesty they actually left the area cleaner than when they got there despite taking an entire tree down and grinding 3 stumps. I would leave Steve and Collins Family Tree Experts 6 stars if I could and I wouldn't dream of using anyone else for tree work in the future.

Collins did such a great job removing a huge maple for us that we had them come back when we had several diseased Ash trees that needed to come down. We are impressed with the quality of their work. Steve and his crew removed 5 trees hanging over my house all in one day. Price was great, cleanup was perfect. They even moved the wood across my yard to my firewood pile and left it all in manageable pieces.

I hired Collins Family Tree Experts from Groveland to remove 7 huge ash trees from my property. Six were dead and one on the way. Victims of the Emerald Ash Borer infestation. Steve and his crew showed up exactly at the time they said they would and finished before I expected them to – about 6 hours. The crew was professional and knowledgeable, and it was amazing to watch them work together. The stumps were cut very low to the ground. The clean-up was amazing. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work, and I thought the price was reasonable. I would recommend them for any tree work that needs to be done and I would call them again without hesitation.

Steve and his crew did a fantastic job helping me clear some trees as the first phase of my yard reclaim project. Communication was fantastic before the project kicked off, then in two days the team safely removed and disposed of close to 20 trees. My neighbors even remarked how professional and fast the work appeared. Steve brought this style to a minor pruning project on my property a couple years ago, so I’ve come to learn that you can expect consistent A+ results with Steve each time.

Steve and his crew did a GREAT job. They cabled our birches, trimmed 3 trees and removed a dead tree and its stump. They communicated well, their price was most reasonable and they worked very professionally. Our yard looks so much better after hiring this local family business. Steve and his crew are top notch, and really know what they are doing! I had two large trees removed, along with some old downed ones and underbrush. Steve’s quote was very reasonable, and he did everything he said he would and more in clearing out the space. This is the second time I've had Steve and his crew to remove trees and limbs and do some general pruning, and it won't be the last. Collins Family Tree Experts is my go-to service for anything that they do. Steve listens to my questions and concerns and responds to them - very reassuring when the action starts and the noise begins. Every member of his team was polite and considerate and on task. They were careful of everything on my property - gazebo, pool, buildings, other plantings, and did an amazing job of cleaning up the area afterwards. I wholeheartedly recommend this company!

Steve and his team did AMAZING work for us on our overgrown property that we bought a few months ago. He was honest and helped us identify what trees were dead or should be pruned and was able to get us to see what was possible - even more than we thought, and for a very reasonable price! Steve and his crew were professional, efficient and left my property clean! They took three trees down that were hard to navigate and close to power lines and they made it seem effortless! We will absolutely be utilizing their services again.

We called at 5:00 PM when most other tree services were closed and they showed up within an hour, completed the emergency tree damage removal of a large 40' section that fell next to our house. They also did a great job cleaning up and were finished by 7:30PM.
