Constraction reviews in Hudson, Massachusetts

C&K Roofing repaired, painted and glazed windows on our 1802 antique house. We are very satisfied with their work. Their team members were courteous and trustworthy. When we faced some issues during the project, Christian responded promptly and the matter was fixed in a professional and timely manner. We would definitely work with them again.

Cristian and his crew did a terrific job prepping and painting the exterior of my house. The previous owners hadn't painted the place in at least 10 years, so the paint was peeling in places and there were sills and quoins that had rotted. Not surprisingly, the scraping alone took an enormous amount of labor and time, but preparation is everything in a good paint job, and that's what you get with this company, along with attention to detail. The crew worked hard - and diligently and Cristian was extremely responsive throughout the whole process, from initial quote through the end of the job. Awesome company! Thank you C&K.

Reached out to them when we needed more than just our roof replaced. They priced out a new dormer in the back and front, replacing our roof, and redoing our front siding and windows. Cristian, the owner, was responsive and patient going through different pricing options, and worked with us directly on everything. His crew was very hardworking and friendly, and did a great job. Even came out to make sure our roof was all sealed up during the big rain storm, and we had no issues. Love our new dormer and roof! Thanks Cristian!

My experience with C & K Roofing was excellent. Christian and Santiago were very responsive, and gave me a reasonable estimate within a couple days of contacting them. The roof looks great, and the team was able to get the work done quickly and efficiently. These guys are good at what they do!

I contacted C&K to repair my siding on the 3rd floor. They were the first to respond. Cristian came the next day to look at the issue. He called me on the phone to understand the issue when he was at the spot and provided a couple recommendations. Proposal was given the next day and pricing was comparative to similar requests we had done in the past. Work was completed in one week time frame. I really appreciated working with this team. They are reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

C&K recently installed a new roof on the training building on our golden retriever rescue compound. The existing roof had been on for 25+ years and was in terrible condition. Once the job was completed (in surprisingly short time) the new roof looked great and the area around the building looked as though no one had been there. We were very impressed. They were professional to deal with and we were quite pleased that we'd contracted with them. I would highly recommend them...as I will definitely use them again in the future as needs arise.

We're very happy with C&K Roofing after they fixed a leak around our chimney. The work was done efficiently and they left the site clean. The communication from C&K is remarkable, starting with the estimates, scheduling, billing and follow-up. This is how all businesses should communicate with customers. I will use them again for other work that we have planned around the house.

So we recently finished all remaining work that we needed done by C&K Roofing and we’re very happy with the finished product.

We originally contacted C&K to repair some roof damage and as our conversation progressed, we talked about wanting some work in our bathroom done and both Al and Christian were very confident that they would be able to do the work we wanted. We had already decided to work with them to repair our roof and so we decided to expand the project to have them do our bathroom at the same time.

We had some issues with the weather that delayed the roofing work, but the people at C&K readjusted their work scheduling and did the bathroom repairs first so as to make sure that the project kept moving forward in a timely manner.

All communications with C&K were very clear and the men that came to work on the house were always on time and very well prepared. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and we’re already in talks about additional work we’re thinking of doing in the future.

They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend C&K for whatever you may need!

We had two leaks in our ceiling and contacted several places to come look at our roof and C&K was the most responsive and helpful of everyone. They did a thorough inspection and explained everything really well. They did an amazing job of explaining the problem without making me feel like it was a total disaster. When it came time to figure out the money they were great with helping us figuring out how to finance the project. They answered every question and were great through every step of having to have our roof completely redone. Will definitely be going back to them for future projects!

We had a great experience with C&K roofing renovating our bathroom and repairing part of our roof. They were always on time in the morning and were considerate about asking if we would like them to work on holidays/weekends to make up for lost time due to weather delays and a lot of faulty plumbing from the previous owners. The bathroom came out beautifully! We love it! I highly recommend them. Cristian, Al and everyone else was great to work with.

C&K were amazing to work with. After a tree fell our house at 6pm they came immediately, assessed the damage and got a tarp up. Their team worked long hard days to get the roof fixed before an impending rainstorm. They were also able to do all on the interior work. They are top notch all around. I would work with them again for any house project.

We got a couple of quotes for replacing our roof and three skylights and went with C&K roofing because of their competitive quote and responsiveness. One of their managers came in person to explain the quote and modified it according to our needs.
During installation which took two days, the crew came early morning on time and started working. The crew was very friendly and professional and answered any questions I had between working.
The work done was great and the roof looks amazing. The debris generated during removal of old roof was completely cleaned out as well.
Would definitely recommend C&K roofing for your next roof installation.

My family and I recently moved from the Southwest to MA. While visiting and seeing our future home for the first time, I noted two or three C&K roofing lawn signs throughout the area, took note of it and called them for an estimate once we were back in the southwest. Within a day or two, I had a detailed estimate of the work to be performed.

Note that they were initially contacted to replace the roof. After learning that they also do interior and exterior work, I requested an additional quote for a couple of other projects I had to tackle.

After getting other quotes from different contractors, I decided to go with C&K.
C&K replaced my roof, fixed the chimney, replaced garage doors, refinished hardwood floors, interior, exterior painting, and installed LVP floors in one room.

His crew was professional, punctual, and respected my home. The work was done well, and on time. We had a few hiccups along the way, and Cristian was able to work around window installer time frame. We will be reaching out to C&K for future projects. Cannot recommend them enough

The major problem is they cut corners. They never fully applied grout in our bathroom - and the tiles are already coming up and loose. The faucet for our family bathtub came flying off as we were preparing a bath for our baby - a major safety issue. When I went to fix it - I noticed it was improperly sealed. There have been multiple issues with the plumbing work they did.

While some of their work was satisfactory - it's hard to trust that they did a thorough job.

Can't say enough about C&K Roofing. Friendly, professional, hard-working, considerate, honest, and responsive. We love our new roof and refurbished chimney! ~mp

Horrible experience. Hired to take out part of a wall on the staircase and replace the railings and newels. Started off with issues when I asked the owner if he would be able to start on the first of the month since that was the day after we closed and we hired someone to come finish the wood flooring. He said he would if I signed the contract by the end of the week. I did this and then a couple days before the first of the month I reached out to confirm and he responded asking who told me he would be starting on the first. He said he wouldn’t start because I never paid the deposit but in his email he didn’t mention having to pay a deposit in order to reserve a start date.
His crew messed up and cut one of the newels in a way that it shouldn’t have been cut and then just put a piece back with putty. When I called him out on it he claimed it needed to be done in order to screw it in yet they didn’t do it to the other newel. He wouldn’t acknowledge that they messed up. He said that when it got stained we wouldn’t notice it. He said if we weren’t pleased he would replace it. Our staining guy did the floors, newel, and railings and the part where they messed up on the newel looked worse than before. They didn’t bother to even try and line up the graining on the wood. I sent him the pictures of it and asked him to replace it and he said he would but he wouldn’t do the staining. This was ridiculous because it’s his fault it looked horrible and we brought it to his attention before it got stained so he had the chance to fix it. He tried just putting new pieces of wood in place of where he messed up but it was not a clean fix. My wife tried explaining what was wrong and he wouldn’t listen to her. We insisted that he fully replace it like he originally said. He finally agreed to replace and stain the newel but threatened to leave drip marks on the newel if we didn’t pay him more money. We called him out on it and he agreed to replace the newel and stain it as well. A job that he said would take around 5 days ended up taking months to do all because he went back in the agreed upon start date and would replace the mistake that was made at the beginning. Overall it was an absolutely horrible experience. If you decide to hire him have everything in writing and have an incredible attention to detail because that is something he doesn’t have.

My wife & I have had multiple, very positive experiences working with Cristian and C&K. We first hired C&K to replace our roof, install skylights, and restore our portico. We liked the experience so much we had C&K paint our house and replace some windows. We later returned to C&K for a project working on our garage deck. We have recommended C&K to family, too, and they were as pleased with the results as we were. We have really enjoyed working with Cristian. He is very responsive to questions, takes pride in his work, and sees through projects with hardworking teams.

Cristian did a fantastic job with a stairway renovation. I have been looking to get my stairway renovated and had met with several carpenters over several years but none of them could do it to the way I wanted. I highly recommend C&K Roofing.

I had work done by this company previously and I would not recommend them. Unfortunately a lot of these reviews are probably not real because this company/owner absolutely does cut corners on their work and they were not responsive. I had gone with this company bc of these reviews but they are not accurate. Please proceed with caution!!!

Amazing company and owners. They were very professional and spent a lot of time helping us design a new deck and porch along with installing flooring in 3 rooms. They were able to get the work done quickly and very efficiently before we moved into our new home.Cristian showed us high quality materials and does excellent work in multiple areas. His crew was fabulous and we were was impressed with their skills and work ethic. The estimate was exactly what he billed us for which isn't always the case. He also rearranged his busy schedule to accomodate our needs. C&K Roofing is an excellent growing company as the reviews reflect. We hope to hire them for more work soon.

I have had the best experience with C&K Roofing and General Contracting Inc. I had all my windows replaced and had my entire house done with vinyl siding. They were so professional and would always come if you need them. They were so good I had them do the vinyl siding on my Mom’s house. They also did her deck and put it in an iron railing . Full service and the best service.
