Contractor reviews in Hudson, Massachusetts

Excellent workmanship, you can tell they take pride in their craft. Best of all the price quoted was it. Great follow up.

Andre and his team were very professional and very thorough in their work. We would hire and again and would highly recommend to others.

Probably the best contractor I have ever dealt with. Pricing was fantastic and transparent. Work was completed on time and on budget. I literally have zero complaints. Would recommend them in a heart beat.

Andre and team at AK services built a new deck for me, exceeding my expectations. I would be happy to provide a reference to Andre for other projects and will be hiring AK in the future.

I am glad I hired AK for our home renovation. He started and finished the job on time, the price was right and the quality of the work was excellent! I'd recommend these guys for anyone who is looking for a job well done!

Beautiful workmanship, respectful workers and reasonably priced. Extremely happy with our new deck and front porch.

AK General Services is the best! We had others come to our house and we never heard back from them. We had a porch put on and we absolutely love it! AK also took down an existing half wall in our home and added a slider to the porch. They were reliable and professional. We were kept informed. We would choose them again!

I had a good experience in hiring AK General Services. They replaced all of my windows and siding, providing good service to my home and garage. The staff were friendly and honest. They also showed up on time and went above and beyond, trying to ensure my satisfaction with the job. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work in town.

Used Angi’s list to find this contractor to repair my deck. I have nothing but good things to say about his responsiveness, his crew and the quality of the work. They appeared when promised and finished look when anticipated. I would definitely use Andre in the future for general contracting needs.

Our new composite deck still looks great going into the 2nd summer. We use it more often than our old beat up wood deck. Andre was easy to work with and the job went smoothly without major problems.

We were extremely satisfied with our experience working with AK General Services. The estimate and contracting process was efficient and transparent. The crew was great, friendly, and the quality of their work outstanding. We would definitely use AK General Services again and would highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

AK General Services (Nov 2024) replaced our wood decking flooring on 2 rear decks. They were punctual, courteous, communicative and hard working. I would recommend them, highly for any dwelling projects!

It was a pleasure working with Andre and his team for our porch demo and rebuild! They were punctual and professional and did quality work. The price and timeline were reasonable and Andre dealt with the additional work required by the building department as quickly as possible. Andre’s communication was excellent and he consistently kept in touch as the project was progressing. It was refreshing working with someone who clearly cares about doing the right thing and making his customers happy. Cheers!

I consulted and obtained estimates from about 4-5 other contractors for replacement and new construction of a new small porch.

Andre Kuhn (AK Consulting) and his crew were outstanding in every way:

Honest, friendly, prompt, hard working, efficient, highly professional, good communicators. Good, fair price. They dealt with town building permit process. Everything was built to code. Outstanding final product. Great clean up. I highly recommend them and for next job would use them again for next job. Once started, porch was completed in less than 2 days, which included tear down, concrete work, and construction carpentry. Outstanding service!

Andre and his team were prompt, professional and worked tirelessly (during a heat wave, too!) to complete our deck. We love the finished product and would definitely work with them again.

I highly recommend the services of AK General Services! They respond immediately when contacted, provide ultimate quality, and most important their goal is to exceed expectations. We had a house we needed to sell immediately and the exterior porch was extremely weathered and not safe. We were under a tight time crunch to get the house listed. AK General Services understood the sense of urgency, immediately provided a quote, and the next day they got to work. They were finished in 2 days, and they provided a transformed new and solid porch. I have used many contractors in the past 25 years, and AK General Services is beyond quality, communicate effectively, and their customer service is outstanding! We are grateful for their integrity and immediate assistance. We WILL call them with all of our upcoming projects.

Look no further, Andre is perfect!
Recently moved to the are, wanted to finish our basement. After talking to several contractors I found Andre and I was struck by his professionalism, courtesy, and respect!
He gave me a fair quote.
I couldn’t be happier!
Job went as planned and came out even better than what expected.
He even gave me fair and honest opinions on jobs I did on my porch.
He is my go to person, I would recommend him to my mom;)
Thanks Andre.

We hired AK to replace our wood deck and railings with a composite deck. We had bids from two other companies but AK had the clearest vision of how we could improve our property. Andre and his crew performed the work and we were delighted with the results. While he was here, we asked him to do two other jobs: install a railing on another entry step and fix a window which was letting in too much air. He and his crew did both! I would hire AK General Services again without hesitation!

I needed to have the floor of my deck re-done. The boards had been there for about 20 years and they were getting soft. I got three bids from contractors, and decided to go with Andre. I'm so glad I did. He and his team were polite, professional and very helpful. They replaced the steps, (which was not in the quote). I live alone and once the job was completed, they put all the furniture back for me. I would highly recommend AK General Services to anyone looking to have work done. I will be calling them again in the Spring to replace the lattice work.

Andre and his crew did a great job rebuilding my deck. I plan to hire AK General Services for future jobs.

Andre was very responsive, professional, and I highly recommend his services! He has great communication skills where he gave his honest opinions and explained everything he would be doing in detail. He was able to come out and provide a quote within a few days of initial inquiry and completed excellent quality work a few days after that. Andre and his team replaced a deck post, fixed a loose deck step, reinforced the stairs, and built a lattice panel for us. I am willing to hire AK General Services for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone!
