Reviews of local pros in Hudson, Massachusetts

Marcelo did a great job installing all new interior doors at my father’s home. He was always responsive, professional and his work was excellent. We were not there at the time of installation but when we returned the house was immaculate with all debris removed.

Ideal Handyman was great, honestly. They answered the first time we called and started work the day after our quote. We needed an emergent fix to our only tub/shower in the house. We were originally quoted to have the tub and shower replaced with tiles, which was out of our budget. Ideal Handyman was able to give us a quote within our budget to have a new pre-fabricated tub and surround installed. I was able to find one we liked and they were able to pick it up for us from Lowes and install the next day. The work was done in less than 2 days, with a working shower/tub by the end of the first day. We are super pleased with the speed and quality of work.

Marcelo and his team are some of the nicest and trustworthy people I have met. They made remodeling my kitchen, baths….. just about every room in my house a pleasure to do.
Marcelo, is responsive to texts and wants to see his customer happy. Their work is excellent. I am extremely pleased with how everything turned. I will miss seeing his happy crew 😊

I recently had several projects done at my house by Marcello and his team. They did a variety of work for me including refinishing my basement, replacing all my deck rails, and installing new flooring in my upstairs. I was very happy with all the work. They did an outstanding job. I was particularly happy with the communication from Marcello. He promptly returned my calls and texts and answered all my questions. I believe the prices were also reasonable. They did exactly what they promised to do. No surprises.

Hired ideal Handyman for a small project in our kitchen. The price was fair, work completely promptly. The guys were reliable, pleasant and removed all trash. Will def be calling them again.

Marcelo is polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to offer helpful suggestions when he came out, and his team was flexible despite some shipping delays on some items I ordered. They did a fantastic job of redoing my kitchen, hallway and bedrooms. Ideal Handyman is my go to for any projects I need done around the house from now on!

Ideal Handyman came to help me with my 1/2 bath by taking down the wallpaper, sand the walls and then paint the walls. They did a wonderful job!

Marcelo and his team did an outstanding job replacing all of the ceilings in our old home and adding new electrical/lighting. Marcelo's communication is great. He responds very quickly to emails and texts. His team always shows up on time and are a nice, professional crew. The price was a good value as well. I would definitely use Ideal Handyman again.

Marcelo and his team have done a great job with major renovations (new layouts) on my home. The renovations were done virtually while I was getting ready to sell my other house out of state. It takes a lot of trust with a contractor to have that done. I’ve already had him come back to replace chandeliers, ceiling fans, and install a mini bar area.

Marcelo has always been super responsive, professional, and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Marcelo and his crew completely remodeled our kitchen. This included removing a wall, relocating plumbing, and installing new cabinets, among is other things. We could not be more pleased with the finished product. The crew was always on time and communication with Marcelo was prompt and responsive. We will be using Ideal Handyman for many other projects in our home. I truly cannot recommend them enough- they offer their customers respect, timely communication, and integrity. The quality of their work is outstanding and we are very grateful they gave us our dream kitchen! Thank you, Ideal Handyman!

We can’t say enough good things about Marcelo and his team — Marcelo is so thoughtful and patient when talking through details of a job, and the team is very efficient, courteous, and clean. The work they do is quality, and they take care to make sure it’s done the right way, and with the customer’s best interests in mind. We had a small deck with stairs added on to the back of our house with a slider, and the whole experience was fantastic and we are so very happy with the end result! Then we had our kitchen floor done, we had a specific tile in mind and Marcelo accommodated that, and the work done was quality, the team spent the time to make sure it was done right, and we’re so very happy with that result too!! Thank you Marcelo and team, we’ll be recommending you every chance we get! :)

Marcelo is amazing!! Very responsive, easy to work with. I’m super happy with his work!! He opened up a wall of the kitchen and created a new room with a couple wall. Everything was beautiful!
He’s flexible and LISTENS to me. When I told him I wanted the new room pretty basic and I was more concerned about saving money, he trimmed down!
90% of project was done in 5 days. Easy breezy.
He’s an NICE GUY and the guys working with him were all great. Very trustworthy.
I tell my friends that I learned 3 very important things about home renovation projects: they aren’t terribly expensive, home renovations projects don’t interrupt your life, and they are easy and enjoyable! My husband shakes his head and everyone laughs - but it’s true. The week Marcelo was working on my kitchen, I expected to be eating sandwiches and I cooked a Turkey dinner instead.

I have worked with Marcelo and his crew on multiple projects spanning from small projects, to huge entire home renovations. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been polite, professional, and communication is great! There has yet to be a project this company can’t handle and couldn’t recommend them more.

Had several doors repaired outdoor and inside excellent work quick response great hours flexible and reasonable prices thank you we will be in touch in the future for more handyman repairs

We’re so happy with the bathroom renovation completed by Marcelo and his team at Ideal Handyman! They were friendly and professional throughout the process. The remodel came out looking amazing and better than expected. We’ll definitely plan to use these guys for any future repairs or upgrades. Thank you so much!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Marcello and his team did an incredible job repairing our 100+ year old pocket doors. Before they were repaired, we could barely pull them out of the pockets. Will definitely hire again, probably in the near future.

We were under a very typical time crunch and needed to have our shower re-caulked. We called Ideal Handyman and received a response & quote the very next morning. Once we agreed, the technician showed up within hours and the job was done before midday. From initial request to finish it wasn’t even a full 24 hours.
The technician was very kind and very skilled. The work is excellent. We are very pleased.

Marcelo and his crew do top-notch work at reasonable prices. While he can become overloaded and difficult to reach at some times, he always gets the job done thoroughly and professionally. He recently completed a major expansion of our deck and addition of a three-season room and we couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Ideal Handyman!

This is the third job that Ideal Handyman did for our house. Marcelo and his crew had demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. In addition, we value the quality of the work that they have done.

These guys were great, flexible and accommodating. They painted, installed floor trip, ceiling fan, bathroom fan and hung my blinds I needed to reschedule several times and had no issues. I will be using them again.

Marcelo and team has done a fantastic job on our kitchen renovation and we are very happy with the end results. We are very impressed with their outstanding communication and their execution of plans. Unexpected issues were resolved accordingly and the team is always amicable to work with. They show up as scheduled and perform their work diligently. We did not have any worries with the project since everything were communicated with ease and handled professionally. We certainly recommend Ideal Handyman (Marcelo and team) for all home projects and thank you for making this such a positive experience. Looking forward to work on future projects with Marcelo and team.
