Constraction reviews in Lynn, Massachusetts

We have a large retaining wall that was slowly failing when we bought our house in Lynn, and was in a tricky spot behind our garage, on the property line. Because it was large (10 ft high and more than 25 ft long), we had trouble finding someone who would take on a project of that scale, and met Mario/MACH Masonry because they had done a nice retaining wall for a neighbor of ours.

Mario immediately communicated a clear timeline and cost, started on time, dealt well with a major unforeseeable demolition issue, and was a pleasure to work with.

We’d recommend him and his team to anyone who has a big project. The price was reasonable considering the scale and in line with other estimates. He also built a stone staircase for us into our adjoining lot, and did a beautiful job with that too.

Mario and his team have been our go-to over the last couple years for all things masonry and landscaping. We chose MACH based on the integrity and ease with which it was to work with Mario on estimates for our dream/forever backyard to stay consistent with our vision and budget, in addition to liking how his team's retaining walls turned out. Despite a number of curveballs presented by the pandemic, Mario was great about communication and we were able to conclude our project which was no small feat: a 4x30 natural stone retaining wall incorporating a small hill (it's beautiful!), granite stairs, and a large patio area with multiple patterns. MACH also graded the backyard, took down a shed, shaped out gravel paths, saved our hydrangeas and moved them, edged and mulched beds, and laid down sod. I never felt pressured to take particular options yet appreciated his expertise and guidance because I'm not an expert myself. We absolutely love our backyard all the more with each year and so do our guests. Since then we've had some further work with granite cobble edging out front, stone paths, and helping with drains away from the house. We've consistently been happy and look forward to working with Mario and his team for any needs in the future. I appreciate the trusted relationship that's only grown over time and Mario clearly takes pride and responsibility in the work he and his team do.

I needed some patio expansion work done in my backyard, and I am so glad I found Mario and his team at MACH Masonry. Not only are they very responsive and reasonably priced, but they also do incredible work. Mario and the team worked hard from morning to night, and went above and beyond to ensure my family and I were happy with the final product. The patio looks amazing thanks to them! Thank you, Mario and team!

We had some aging stone edging and a crumbling concrete front step. All very old and tired looking. I called Mario and explained our situation. He quickly came up with solutions that fit our budget and completely transformed our front yard. It came out absolutely beautiful. I'm am 💯 percent satisfied with the quality of the work. Mario and his team are fantastic to work with as well. Thank you Mario!!

MACH Masonary will not disappoint. My husband and I highly recommend them for all landscaping services. MACH Masonary installed a new patio at our home. Mario was very easy to work with and offered many suggestions. His team was efficient and got the job done sooner than expected. A job well done!

Mario and his team were great from start to finish. He was easily accesible from the start and quick to setup a date to discuss what we needed done . He came over to quote the job and was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to all we wanted to get done. Once the job started, Mario and his team were on top of everything. In constant communication to check in the make sure the details of the project were what we wanted. In the end the project came out great and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend M.A.C.H. Masonary!

Mario was awesome , he did my fence, driveway and Patio. I super recommend him, excellent work and super professional, looking forward to do some more work in the future

I hired MACH to demolish my back (failing) concrete stairs and construct new stairs, a patio and multiple walkways. I can't say enough good things about Mario and his team. Mario was extremely responsive and showed up when promised. He listened to what I was hoping to achieve and offered his expertise/ideas to ensure the finished project was both functional and beautiful. The final result exceeded my expectations. His crew was extremely professional and clearly take pride in their work. I would hire MACH again without hesitation.

Your team did a great job. Thank you Mark and Dolores Finlay

Great pricing and they did a great job landscaping!!!! 5 stars!!!!!!!

Wonderful service..... Oscar came quickly and planted our tree.. I recommend him and his team for all landscaping!!!!!!!!

When yoy call them, & think they are coming but never show after being a customer for several years, that's a disgrace. Because for one patch of over grown grass they want to charge you $200, & you think that is terrible, so then they never show.

Hired Oscar and sons for spring clean up and they did a fantastic job. Mulch laid and yard totally cleared of debris and leaves. Highly recommend

Had a new fence installed amazing job. Osca and his team did a great job. Price was fare. Definitely recommend

Oscar and his team did an amazing job on our patio and yard. Not easy jobs! He takes pride in his work and makes sure the job is done correctly.

We had a great relationship with this company but when I reached out for spring cleaning, I was greeted with foul language from the owner, which, in this day and age, is not acceptable.
I wouldn’t recommend this to any of my family or friends as an owner with this behavior is not something there acceptable.

Oscar came out to reset our fence gate, fix some damage to the fence and clean our gutters. He was super easy to work with, prompt and efficient.

Oscar and Sons has done two jobs just this year on my house. I have also recommended them to three of my friends. The work is always done the way you wanted and they go above and beyond.

I used Oscar and Sons Landscaping to trim and shape some large overgrown hedges on my property. Oscar and his team did an excellent job! They were extremely friendly, professional and responsive. I will absolutely use them again as well as recommend their services!

I called Oscar to discuss a job I wanted done. He came out and gave me an estimate quickly, and we scheduled the work to be done with a few options. He and his crew arrived and took care of the work I needed. They did a great job and I could not ask for better. The area is now free from debris and overgrown shrubs and weeds. I will call again if there is anything I need. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. If you have any landscaping or work to be done on your property do not hesitate to give Oscar a call. He will take care of you,

Oscar has done multiple jobs at my house and we have been very pleased with the work. Oscar and his crew are hard workers and make sure everything is how we want it. Would definitely recommend!
