John and Martin were great. Super friendly, came in and got to work. Setup up our new outlet and looked at some things for us. Glad we called Kuhlman :)

The best service ever! We were set to go out of town for NYE and our smoke alarm system was freaking out and then in the process, we lost power to our furnace. One call to Kulman Electric and we had two electricians at our house EARLIER than they said they would be there. What contractor ever shows up early? They were great! Replaced all of the detectors, and found the problem with the furnace was a mislabeled electrical panel. The bill wasn't outrageous either. We made it to the NYE party. A Happy New Year due to Kulman Electric! We will only use them moving forward!

We've had a few jobs done by Kuhlman over the last few years. They're great to work with. Communication is always quick and clear, work happens as scheduled, and they've been terrific when unexpected things happen. Matt and Thurston are both great! I don't especially want to need an electrician, but I'm glad to know Kuhlman is there when we need them.

KES did a great job replacing the knob and tube in my house five years ago. Recently they came back to wire up a whole floor of new construction. Matt Kilroy and John did fantastic work on a complex wiring job, and were flexible and able to roll with changes as they arose. I'd certainly hire them again

Our entire experience from start to finish was top notch. Being in the service industry, this is one of my sticking points and their customer service is on point, Kerri and Lilli are awesome.
First, Joe, one of their Master Electricians, came out to give us a quote to install a couple of ceiling fans and track lighting for our condo.
We accepted the quote and John and Cody were sent out to do the install. They showed up when they said they would and spent the next 4-5 hours doing the work.
They were thorough, professional and when they were done, I wouldn’t have known they were even in our home. I wasn’t able to be home the entire time and when I came back they had already left.
House was locked and the job was clean and complete.
I have them coming back tomorrow for a quote on some more work to be done and couldn’t be more satisfied.

We have used Kuhlman several times when electrical work comes up in our older home. We recently had Moroney Patrick and Roy Mills do some work in our home. They were prompt and got to work right away. They knew what they were doing and they respected me and my home while they were there. They cleaned up after themselves - really well. We were very satisfied with the work they did and would use no one else other than Kuhlman for electrical work in my home.

We scheduled Kuhlman to come out for a malfunctioning light sensor in the back hallway of our triple-decker. They were originally scheduled to come Jan. 26 - the day with all the snow - but were proactive about reaching out to reschedule in light of the forecast, which we did, for Feb. 2. Ervis Bushi came to do the work, arrived promptly, and did a fast and thorough job, including having to run out to pick up a replacement sensor. He was also very patient and accommodating as I unexpectedly (since my heat had conked out that morning) happened to have a furnace repair person over at the exact same time so I was doing a bit of chaotic running back and forth between the two, and also as I texted my housemates for approval on a couple of decisions.

I also mentioned that my household had been considering installing a Ring camera and were not sure what that would involve, and Ervis immediately offered to look at our setup and walk me through what it would take to do that. He gave me a thorough explanation of the types of Ring cameras (plugged into an outlet, which we don't have, or hard-wired), and, based on our house's electrical system (old), what would need to happen in order to get it up and running, with different variables considered. This is MASSIVELY helpful context for us as we decide as a house whether to pursue that/get a more formal estimate.

Another great experience with Kuhlman from start to finish! Scheduling the estimate and the work itself was easy, and the electricians (Steve M. and Riley R.) were prompt, friendly, and efficient. The light they installed looks great and works perfectly for our needs — and they even tidied up the workspace before leaving. We’ve recommended Kuhlman before and will continue to do so for any electrical needs!

Kuhlman is great. This is the second time that I used them for electrical repairs (e.g., smoke detectors, exterior receptacles, whole house surge protector). My first visit was from Jake & Alex. My second visit from was Jake & Cody. All three (Jake, Alex, Cody) were terrific. Extremely careful, capable and easy (I would even say fun) to work with. Next time I need electrical work, I couldn't imagine calling anyone but Kuhlman.

Have had KES do a number of projects for me in two homes. When installing an EV charger, they were the only company not to totally BS me by telling me I had to upgrade my panel ($10K+) at the time and installed a great 30A setup (rather than the 60A set up every other electrician told me that I absolutely needed - totally false).

I then had them come do a complete rewiring of our "new" home which had basically all knob-and-tube wiring. It was an enormous project that included a panel upgrade, tons of new outlets and switches, and replacing almost all of our lighting fixtures. Two guys were here daily for over 3 weeks. They used small holes in the walls to rewire the entire home. They patched the holes (rough patching, but at least something to start with) and they were very thoughtful about where they'd put holes to minimize cosmetic issues and they talked me through all of this. We made a number of on-the-fly changes (adding outlets, etc) as they were doing work and they were very accommodating. They were super professional, fairly clean, very friendly, and importantly they really knew what they were doing and took pride in the work. The electrician told me he loves jobs like ours and would miss it when he was done. The K/T rewiring is an intense project - I got a few estimates and KES' estimate was slightly higher (about 5%) but I'd go with them again because they were so attentive to detail, they did a rough patch of the holes, and they were easy to strategize with as the project was ongoing.

Fast, courteous, clean and professional.
Gary explained the issue, had a fix and was done before I could finish shoveling the walkway. The price is fair. The service is great. And clean work. No dirty fingerprints in my ceiling or anything at all anywhere.

The electricians showed up on time as scheduled and did a fantastic job over the course of three days. Communication was very clear throughout the entire process, and they left no debris behind once the work was completed. I would definitely recommend them. Had an EV charger installed by Kuhlman and I am very happy with the overall experience. Indrit and Jose arrived for the job early and got started right away. They were excellent at communicating with me - answering my questions, letting me know what they were planning to do, asking where I wanted the charger to be installed and reviewing their work once they were done. They left their working area very clean, as well! I would highly recommend them (and Kuhlman) for anyone who is planning to install an EV charger.

I would highly recommend Kuhlman Electric. We used them to rewire 1 floor of a multifamily house including outlets, switches & fixtures. Indrit & Jose did a fabulous job working in an occupied apartment. I was kept updated on the progress of this difficult job. They completed on time and on budget and even better they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I give the Kuhlman team a 5 out of 5 rating.

This is the second time we’ve had Kuhlman out to do some work and they’ve continued to do a great job. Cody and John arrived promptly, had a clear view of the work that needed to be done, and did a fantastic job. Super clean work in a finished space and friendly to boot!

I had Kuhlman Electric for knob and tube replacement, service upgrade, panel upgrade and installation/replacement of multiple fixtures. It was a multiday project. Martin and Alex did an outstanding work rewiring the entire house and completed the project within their mentioned time-frame. The workmanship and expertise of the electricians are incomparable and I am very much impressed by the work they have done.

Also, a big shoutout to Anthony for being nible and co-operative throughout the entire project, for expediting the final inspection and for being accommodating during few of the return-trip electrical repairs. Anthony also helped us with a separate service call to replace outdoor light fixtures and fix the power loss due to damaged electrical circuit in our basement.

Kudos to the team of adept electricians at Kuhlman electric. I highly recommend them and would hire them again without a second thought.

My electricians, Bahena Salazar Jose and Indrit Agalliu, were top notch and did a great job. I had them replace and install new recessed lighting and they were absolute pros - quick, efficient, and also really cleaned everything up as they went. Would use again

It’s always nice to find a contractor you can trust. Our home is 38 years old and we have been doing repairs and upgrades for a while. Recently we needed some electrical work done and so we began the great electrician hunt. Our search led us to Kuhlman Electric. Good reviews and ratings. Excellence online presence and very upfront about costs and fees. They are not the least expensive people out there, but in this case you get what you pay for.
Our technician for our two visits has been Gary Kuhlman, one of the owners and he has been great to work with. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had some bathroom fans that had failed. He was able to source us repair materials rather than having to do complete replacement. Saved us time and money!
When the house was designed, they put lighting in the 30 foot vaulted ceiling! Bulbs do fail sooner or later, what were they thinking? Gary made quick work of that.
Summary: Kuhlman provides outstanding service at a fair price. They keep you informed each step along the way and are easy to work with. That kind of attention to the customer flows from the top of the organization and Gary Kuhlman deserves credit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We recently had our electric panel upgraded from 100 to 200amp by Cody and Jake. They were super speedy and did a fantastic job - they even left my basement cleaner than they found it! I really appreciate the time and care they took in relabeling our circuits, which was super helpful as we just bought our home and the existing panel was not labeled. Joe, the sales manager, helped us with all our questions before booking and got us on the schedule within two weeks of signing our proposal. Kuhlman actually ended up being our most affordable quote, and we are super happy to have hired them for this job. 10/10 would recommend Kulhman for your electric panel upgrade and wouldn’t hesitate to hire Cody and Jake again for any other electric work we may need!
